You may be right Inge, but her words were just so filled with loyalty for a site she believed she helped put on the map.  I just don't see her trying to make tsr look bad.  And since you're here, you must be wanting tsr to look bad.....lol

Inge, did you even read the conversation?  She LOVES tsr.  She'll never do anything to discredit her beloved site.

I also want to thank the person that submitted that conversation to coconut. I now know  for sure that the petition was hacked.  Since the PetitionOnline. com people won't return any of my emails to them, I'll now file charges.  Have no idea if anything will come of this, but I'm very happy that I've got a place to start.

Game, set, match!  Up next, team johan!

Thanks coconut.  I'm on that list and I appreciate you posting that conversation.

I've been hanging around here for a little more than a year.  I'm not saying that TSR has anything to do with the recent hackings.  However, is it any wonder that people would accuse them first?  They've already been known to make people's private info public.  And somehow Atwa keeps getting into TSR without their knowledge. Roll Eyes  The incompetence is extraordinary.

And then Inge comes here in another thread to stir things up, and then in this thread to cuddle up to johan.  Sorry if I'm confused.

I'd believe witchboy and shanow and all before I'd believe anything concerning TSR and Inge.

While I guess you could technically say that you made this, no one can actually nom it.  Sayin'

It's also the same intelligent bunch that keeps firing Atwa.  Apparently several times now, but somehow she just keeps sneakin' in without their knowledge.

I guess they must be very thankful to coconut for alerting them of her new identity, since they sacked her the day after coconut let carpediem out of the bag. Roll Eyes

I don't admire the effort at all.  The effort is not for the community, it's for TSR's profits.  Their bottom line is the only reason that johan comes here or anywhere.  They're running a business.  He just comes here to play with us.  He really doesn't care for anything except being at top on the google list and making sure nothing negative about his site is allowed to be said on his site.  Hell, I'm not sure if johan and thomas and atwa aren't the same person.   Shocked

Since I'm on that list that johan says TSR has never had, I'll be interested in things to come.

None of this will ever be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt.  I have no idea who actually hacked the petition.  I just know that it ended up in TSR's hands.  And because of TSR's reputation, they look guilty.  When you continually show bad behavior, circumstantial evidence is all that is needed.  I don't need absolute proof, because it will never come.  I know TSR is guilty just by having the hacked petition in their hands.

I know nothing will ever come of this, because even the most popular free site, mts, locked a thread to even discuss it.  And then there's Inge who makes a statement that seems to prove coconut's posting, but won't elaborate on it.  Who knows when she talked to Thomas in chat?  Nobody, cause she won't tell.  Nice.

Why would he tell that to Inge?

This is starting to sound like bad publicity is better than no publicity.  Huh
10  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: TSR: In Ur Accounts, Deletin Ur Stuffs! on: 2009 December 01, 11:39:50
Honestly Moune, there is no proof.  However, there's a detail in all this that convinced me that TSR is involved.  The sacking the same day as this info came out of CarpeDiem.  I'm not saying that TSR hacked the petition(even though they've showed themselves capable of such), but sacking the artist the same day coconut came out with the list is very damning as far as I'm concerned.  And TSR has displayed behavior in the past of nefarious practices.  Because of their past I'm no longer willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

It may well be Atwa's whole deal, but I really doubt it.  Everyone seems to think that Atwa has something on Thomas, but in my opinion I think he has something on her.  She may be crazy, but she's always doing Thomas' dirty work.

Well, as usual, I'm late to the party, but I'm on that list and I signed that petition.  I should have known better, but apparently my brain was taking a snooze last spring.

I've never pirated anything before, but hey, since I'm on that list maybe it's time to start.  Roll Eyes

I see what you mean, and I understand its logic, lorikay. But. I'd rather live in a society where people are ready to randomly accuse and believe this of other people than one where no one is willing to accuse people of these things for 'posterity' or out of fear or shame or what-have-you. I understand that that is very black-and-white of me, and that the world, on the whole, is made up of many shades of grey and that, ideally, it would be nice to have a society where neither of these things are the norm; something like a happy medium. But I'm just thinking in terms of 50 or so years ago and how awful it was for survivors because no one believed them, or, if they did, didn't care or want to talk about it. I'd rather people be overzealous in their guard than not at all.

Thank you for responding dusdeedawn.  I absolutely agree with you that people should always be on their guard.  I'm hoping that people are being observant and noticing when someone has a strange attraction for children.  That's probably why all this with evi has come about.  It's a possibility that it's true.  There's also a possibility that it isn't.  She may just enjoy creating pixel clothing for sim kids.  I just think we're on thin ice here accusing her of a serious crime.  I'm hoping she has neighbors that will notice if she has a weird attraction for children.

The incident with me happened 45 years ago (yes, I'm old), and nobody ever talked about it then.

Being a survivor of incest as a young child, I have to agree with Moune on this.  It's very important that you don't just randomly accuse someone of pedophilia.  You must have facts.  It's a serious crime.  And when you randomly just throw out an accusation of this magnitude you could be harming children that need to be believed and not dismissed because they're children.  The more people that are accused because of perception, the worse it becomes for children to be believed.

On a lighter note, evi sucks as a creator of anything sims.

When I first found this site, about ten months ago, I started from the beginning of the prettiest finds site and went all the way to the end at that time.  I loved that thread!  I still love it.  I was so excited to finally find really good content for my game I didn't mind going through the entire thread.

I think the new stickied free site thread is perfect.  I love browsing through different sites to check out their content.

Anyway, I like it here.  I think the cause is worth it.  If there's a clique atmosphere here I find that very natural.  People have been fighting this for a long time now.  They're fighting against paysites, which EA seems to find okay, and won't even fight for their own rights.  Sims players are really just on their own.  So I appreciate this site for what it is.  And frankly I've never been mistreated here.  I read the FAQ Wink

Edit:  Cause we're not fighting EA. Duh!

I'd never been to this site before.  However, I'm looking forward to checking it out often now.  I'm with Shanow, finally some good news!  Congrats Elize!
