silverslippersims2    open/closed?  Just applied for membership

Doing search for Sims 2 Yahoo groups, this was listed

I tried to do a search but did not want to wade through over 1400 of them.   Is there a way to search for newly created ones?

I have been quite amused reading this thread and find that I am slightly disappointed that there have been no more rants from "The woman who has more then one name".

Guess I better go see whats new in Bon Voyage and take my Sims on a lovely vacation.

Very disappointed in Jan/Charlotte/Sally/Kendra/Lura/etc... thought she would of kept me entertained for a few more days.

*sigh* Oh well, guess I should be glad.

34  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / The Sims Mod Board is having problems, too. on: 2007 September 05, 21:04:01
Hmmm.  Read this at their circumstances page. And it is interesting to read.

http://www.pc-sims.com/smb/circumstances.html

"If you would like to know the backers of those who made us
problems you can inquiry a blacklist on the emailaddress below.
We would be glad, if you would remove this trouble makers
from your own (Sims 2) website, because they are a
danger for every community on which they reside on.
We would recommend, that you take from time to time an
update from the actual rebel list. All griefers, spys and trolls are listed
there and we would provide you hi-tech applets to ban them forever.
Further we would encourage you to provide us judicial assistance
to punish those by court process who destructed a big part of SMB.

Send your further questions please to: guardteam@pc-sims.com"

Sh.
Don't ever equate yourself with Jan.
What you said made sense and was spelled correctly!

I'm not entirely sure if you can track with a trojan, but it would make sense!

Whew!  I thought that I was seeing conspiracy theory's everywhere.

I know that some Trojans send packets of information out so I would think that they could not only track you but if it is a key logger to know everything you type.  That would be one way to find out who the pirates are.

Hey!! I made sense to someone else. Cool.

As far as the spelling ...  I am edjaamakated.

Thank you for noticing.  Cheesy

Could it be that they know about it because they planted it there?

Can they track people's movements and find out where they browse from using a trojan?

Just a thought I had when I read about the Trojans on this thread.

Another thing, I have suspected for a long time that TSR was behind the high bandwidth bills that many sites would get.  Then Thomas would ride to the rescue and offering them enough money for their files to cover the huge bandwidth bill.

It just always seemed funny to me that sites would get slammed with a huge bandwidth bill and then turn up on TSR. Usually with a message on their front page that they have closed their site due to high bandwidth and that they will now be at TSR.

Who approaches who?

Am I the only one that suspects this?  Am I just paranoid?  Am I getting like Jan/Charlotte?

39  The Pirate Ship / ARR! /  Wudja LOOK at this SITE?!!!! on: 2007 April 06, 21:59:54
I just saw it this morning after perusing TSR and finding a link to get the meshes from Country Sims for a recolor.

I never could find the meshes and was horrified that they were a sub site.

40  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / What EP would you most like to see for Sims2? on: 2007 January 30, 01:09:07
Call me weird but the one thing I really want is an in game capability to change shoes on my Sim. Just the shoes separate from the outfit.

Can you tell I'm a shoeaholic?

I've requested it and Blue said it will be in the booty when she gets to it.

Thank you but I am more upset that I was so pulled to pay for stuff.  What kind of pirate am I?

I would not mind paying to then give to Blue to put on the booty site to share but to be so easily tempted.  ARGH! :x

I am not a big fan of the hair but I do like most of the objects.  Had to stop myself from paying to join.

Really wanted that sink and table, kitchen mesh set and magazine rack.

*sigh*
