HP closed the thread at modthesims that was discussing TSR and the list. Her reasons were pretty "meh" to me, but this stood out:

"False or misrepresented info has been posted up there before. If you're in the business of drama, it's not exactly a leap of imagination to think someone like that might occasionally make up some stuff to keep people interested - and if you lie once, everything else has doubt cast on it."

When was Coconut found to be posting false or misrepresented stuff?

Is it just me, or did TSR's forum suddenly go on lockdown mode? It wants a TSR Email. 

Over on the BBS, where I like to troll post occasionally, I have a sig linking to coconut's blog. I recently received this in my guest book:

I mean, I always knew TSR and their 'staff' was on the sleezy side. And I've had my suspicions they've been bedding with EA to get exclusive rights to stuff and help them operate as a business for quite a while (though Tommy Boy will say he's just covering the costs, yeah right!). But I didn't realize how deep that hole was until reading through all that.

Anyway, thanks for the link. It was very informative and led me to the info I had missed being out of touch with the community for a while.

Hasn't there been a few creators who have left TSR, and gotten them to remove their creations from the site? I think Thomas is extra butthurt towards you because now he has to deal with everyone knowing just how creepy Atwa is about him. And you just know Atwa is probably bitching about you to someone, (probably him,) right now. What a sad creepy woman. Ew.

So what are you going to do with your fifteen minutes of fame? Now is the time to adopt a bunch of kids, if you want to do it speedily, and hey, it might even increase your fame from fifteen minutes to half an hour. Or maybe even an hour!

For those of you having trouble with how to friend someone: When you're on tomatorises's profile, above the User: tomatorises part is a button, . Click it, and then click add.

I always kinda assumed everyone was exaggerating Atwa's feelings for Thomas, but reading that email. Wow. First talking about how she felt like he was almost her son, then only a few sentences later talking about how she has feelings for him and her "hormons" jumping. I am rather creeped out, and majorly feeling sorry for his wife.

I'd say the TSR supporter is either a troll, or really stupid. They're pretty much ignoring any points that they can't reply to with "It's the internets, lol." I think any casual simmers who are just now hearing about this aren't going to be swayed by them. Well, ok, *most* won't be, there's always a few that will. (And their display picture (a sheep) is rather appropriate, huh?)
