Here is a hack that allows you to assign where homework goes when a child comes home.

http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=312004

I use it and it works really well when you have two children. Just assign one to a desk and the other one will use whatever desk is available.

Eww PirateKitty I almost tossed my cookies when I seen that, I am gonna have nightmares for a week

Yeah I would let a child on T$R because they are so child friendly just look at this
(Picture of two bikinis one black, one red, with a crocheted boarder)

I do believe this is smutty compared to the other submissions on this page. Why? Because if you look very closely you can see where the nipple would clearly show through the top. And if you had skins with such it would show through. The sheer underwear while not exactly particularly smutty could be taken as such if you look closely at the crotch. Just my two copper coins worth.

Cala started a thread on Coconut's blog to show that we did not Pirate the games. That was the point of it.

In a lot of cases some of our members have moved on because of RL. Like Nouk and Cala. Cala I'm sure is working on her paper which I think is nearing completion or at least one of the last times I remember her speaking of such. Sometimes, we really don't have anything new to say other than "Thomas is a dirtbag or Atwa is running loose again" and some people I'm sure are tired of that so they may not be as vocal as before but still read to see if there is any news.

BUT that doesn't mean we have to change the forum or its "tone" if you will. I remember reading a thread here a few years ago titled "The Golden Fucknut Award" and it was long and rambling at times, but the woman it was about was really an odd duck. Sure a lot of the people who posted in that thread aren't around any more for whatever reason. I think some people are working on things behind the scenes that if they post it here, like PaperBeth said, will alert TSR to what they are doing. I hope once they get some result, we can see what was sent, but for now, I'm content to wait.

She converted to Christianity and in those days, you can pretty much bet that it was only done in order to save her own life.
Pocahontas most likely married John Rolfe as a diplomatic alliance between the English and her people (though Rolfe seems to have really loved her), and she would be expected to adapt to many of her new peoples' ways then, which included Christianity. That doesn't mean she saw Christianity the way the English ministers would have wanted her to. By the way, she already had a husband when she married Rolfe.

Also, I never saw the Disney movie, but did they put her and Rolfe/Smith, (*gag*) with THE PILGRIMS?! Oh dear god. Just -- who wrote this, I want them dead. It's bad enough that they believed Smith's lies about her in the first place. She was eleven when they met, she did not love him, and it's quite likely that her father's execution-just kidding with Smith was done to show the chief's power to take life and to generously give it.

Pocahontas was actually a diplomatic prisoner for a time if you will. She was captured by the English and then became an ambassador for her people and a liaison between them building the bridge for better communications. The English and the Powhatan nation have co-existed peacefully side by side to this day. To my knowledge, none of Virginia's indian tribes are supported by the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Washington. And yes, they do have reservations, but they are not like the other Native American nations who suffered far worse under the hands of those who came afterward.

To answer about the movie, no they do not place Pocahontas with the Pilgrims who by the way came to New England way after Jamestown had been established. Jamestown was founded in 1607, the Pilgrims landed in 1620. Thankfully Disney didn't screw up history in that respect, but they sure screwed with the geography of Virginia. The Tidewater area, which is where Jamestown is, is about a two hour drive to the Blue Ridge Mountains. The movie made it seem they were right next door.

As far as Pocahontas saving Smith's life, that has never been proven to be fact, only legend.

I'm from Virginia (which is where Jamestown is located) and the National Park and Festival Park were livid at what Disney did with that movie. You do not mention that movie at either place without expecting to get ripped a new one.

To explain the parks, we have the site of the actual town (which is foundations and archeological digs) that is run by the National Parks service, the Festival park is a recreation of the original fort and part of the indian village that Powhatan governed. Nearby is Yorktown and Williamsburg.

As I've said before in other posts, I play Neverwinter Nights 1 online. I am a member of a "persistent world" and we have forums to interact, post announcements, etc. We had a situation where some "spambot" registered from the same IP address and spammed the forums with porn ads and links. Thankfully, our moderators took care of and deleted the links and banned the "user". They went to a manual registration process where the new user had to respond to an e-mail from the forum admin. I hate to say it, but you might want to consider something like that.

*shakes head* Well, if someone official from another country's law enforcement agency came to the Mobile Service in Stockholm, you know they'd be singing a different tune. After all the flap about Pirate Bay, I would hope they would be forth coming with the information.

I'm glad you reported this WB. If I were Thomas and TSR, I'd be seriously turning myself in. But then, they don't have any common sense anyway. Cybercrime is taken very seriously in the US even if the source is from overseas.
13  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: TSR: In Ur Accounts, Deletin Ur Stuffs! on: 2009 September 02, 11:41:53
That is just low. If you can, I'd report all this to the cybercrimes people like someone suggested on another thread here. (I can't remember who it was, nor which thread it was in). Also remember to put a freeze on your credit bureau report as they could try and do something stupid with that too. (You live in the US if I remember correctly). And this new low is now identity theft. Please WB, report this to someone. This is defiantly a new low in TSR tactics.

Well, it doesn't surprise me. Tugmel is a creator on TSR.

I met my husband as he ran a Game store for a while. We played my old Sunday DnD game in the back room of his store as well as many other games my husband GM'd for us. There were several of us who were female in the group. No one had any problem with us girls playing with the guys. Heck, they thought it was great and cool. But I can understand the other side as well.

Ah, well. Yay for all us geeks!
