I'll try using buildDXT. I've heard that someone used it for skintones,  so perhaps it will work for clothes. 0.o

When you build the DXT, make sure you select "None" under the "Sharpen" option.  (Mine always defaults to "Smoothen", and I have to change it every time.)  That will create the texture without making it pixelated or streaky.  You can then compress it for a smaller file size with minimal texture loss by selecting compression under the "Resource" tab (as opposed to the Plugin View tab.)  It works great for hair as well as skin, so it should be fine for clothing.

Yes all of the hair is binned. I even bin my combo colors....blonde/blue or black/red. This way the eyebrows match.

You don't have to bin the combos if you want them in the custom bin.  Just use Body Shop to create the combined color from one that you've already binned, and the eyebrows will match the one you used as a base.  That's what I used to do before I started binning hairs, because I liked matching eyebrows.

Just direct them to this post here, where she doesn't deny it:

MsBarrows has already been an FA; she "retired" from the position some time ago when she stopped making new stuff.  Now that she's started creating again, I assume she'll be able to go back if she wants.
6  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / EA games using CC in game now? on: 2007 September 11, 19:34:35
I did the animated version; it was originally Maxis bonus hair for some Asian celebrity named Tata Young.  I was kind of pissed when I saw it in Bon Voyage, because it took me a lot of effort to get the animations right, and they've surely fixed it for the expansion.  Oh well.     I see that they didn't fix the overlap issue for the right side of the hair (model's right, viewer's left), which is a shame because that fix was easy.

I'm too cynical for my own good.  I don't think EAxis will be able to shut the paysites out of Sims 3 or Spore just through programming.  After all, the Sims 2 was supposed to work almost the same way:  content was supposed to be both uploaded and downloaded from the game itself, without any need to search the web.  We all know how that worked out.

How is Spore going to take content off of my computer if I use my firewall to refuse it access to the internet?  How is it going to prevent me from searching my game files until I find the item I just created so I can extract it manually and put it online on a personal website?  I hope they find a way to shut out Spore paysites -- and I hope the solution isn't to force me to let my game go online.  (I  don't want my game to download random crap it thinks I'll like!)

For example, one of Arthemisthia's TOU's is "Do not use on fat sims". I put it on fat sims in the privacy of my PC (I personally don't know why she made this restriction, as she hadn't included a fat morph with it, so your sims could get as porky as they liked and still look the same).

Bolding added by me -- you've answered your own question.  Don't use it on fat sims, because she didn't make it correctly and thus it will not allow your fat sims to look the way they should.  I don't think there's more to it than that.  I've seen long hair that would benefit from that TOS; it's disturbing to see hair cut right through a sim's breasts.

Edit to add:  Nouk, that male hair is gorgeous!
