Openhouse has been around the community enough to know you, Nouk, and the Animal Army, and the power behind your combined voices when someone rips off a free artist and puts their work up for sale. I'm glad he chose to do the right thing and not force you to "scream." For once, being civil and good communication worked! I think we should celebrate! (Munching another cookie. . . want some?)

Continuing the off-topic "fat" body discussion: I personally like Warlokk's Rio and Classic Pinup meshes. And I have downloaded clothes that made "fat" female sims look pregnant. My husband likes looking at the "fat" sims, too. Which, I guess, is lucky for me that he likes a woman with meat on her bones. haha

O-My-Freakin'-Lord! Someone please pass the mental clorox so I can bleach that image out of my head! I've heard of gerbils going up the wazoo, but puppies in the vagina?

Congrats Morne!! Babies are a blessing. Until they turn 2, that is. . . Here's my theory on baby gender, for what it's worth. The mom always knows, like a six-sense thing. I have three kids and spent 7 years as a social worker working with pregnant moms and babies. The moms always knew. They'd say things like, "I know he's a boy" or "I want a boy so bad, I hope it's a boy, but I have this feeling he's a she." I knew with all three of mine. I remember with the baby (boy) I wanted a girl so that my daughter would have a sister. . .but I just kept calling the baby "him" and thinking of boy names. When we went for the ultrasound, he was stretched out proudly displaying his little boy parts. Now he's three and talking about cars and airplanes and football. All boy.

Thanks RenegadeSims, that was precisely my point in posting that comment in this thread. Wasn't expecting such cold responses... but oh well. White Ranger: You weren't expecting folks to be annoyed because you posted something that revived an old thread? You must not have looked around the forum and read the threads much. One of the things that annoys the pirates is to: a) Start a new thread to ask a question or post a comment that has already been addressed in an existing thread, or b) Reviving older threads to post a comment that really does not offer any new information about the topic that interests the majority of posters. (Your post falls into this catagory, since many of the folks around here do not use Sims Enhancer, and felt that the topic was well covered in this older thread.) Lurking and reading the threads, as well as getting the feel for the pirates who inhabit this forum, is sort of a safety issue around here. You seem to be trying to contribute and since you're namesake was once my son's favorite Power Ranger I felt compelled to explain what was going on and warn you. I hope that I have not offended anyone by trying to be helpful.

Well, Suck-u-Rom has officially made my husband a little paranoid about the issue!!! We had discussed the issue the other evening as he was doing his regular spy-ware checks. He said at first that since we do not use any DVD-writing software, and since we had not already encountered any problems, he felt fine with me running the game as it. He found nothing related to it on the AdAware or McAfee's AntiVirus, so to him, it was fine. He knows a little more about computer than I do (Two years at Devry for Systems Analyst before becoming a Respiratory Therapist), so I didn't worry about it anymore. Yesterday, I played BV for a couple of hours. I got done and signed off to start dinner, and he signed on the computer. The comptuer wouldn't work. It had frozen up. He couldn't even Alt-Ctrl-Delete out of it, had to shut the computer down at the switch. When he restarted it, it was giving him several different port failures, keybord failures, ect. He wondered if Suck-u-Rom had caused it. I told him that it had worked fine while running the game. He called Customer Support, the computer guy told him that either something had come loose, or we needed to replace the motherboard. ARG! Luckilly, he opened the computer up, cleaned off some dust, and it has been working fine since. But, he's a little leary of me playing BV. I told him that if I played again and we got the same issues, we'd know that BV caused it. But, I seriously doubt it! It's just that fear, ya know, that there's something forigen on our computer, that we didn't put it there, and that we don't know for sure what problems it may or may not cause. It's enough to make someone very paranoid. :?

That looks like a site that should be labled something like, "These are my first attempts at recolors! Please try them out and let me know if they bork your game, okay? I'll give you benes if you download my crap!" If they are waiting on someone to pay them for that, they're going to starve to death.

Okay, now that I've finished reading the entire thread, I must say that I'm pissed beyond measure! I do not use any of these Cd-burning programs, because unfortunatly coming to this site is about as much on the dark side as I travel, but it still burns me up! I can't even put together an intelligent thought right now, I'm so mad!

From my experience as a customer service representative, I can say that the right response to the situation (with dignity and respect for the customers feelings) would be: "I apologize for the inconvenience you are suffering through. I understand that there are a lot of problems/bugs going on with the game. We are currently trying to work through these problems to better serve our customers. I would like to thank you for pointing this out to us, we'll be on it as soon as possible."
At my job we have a 4 step program called L.A.S.T. Listen Apologize Satisfy Thank
Every time someone calls on the phone with a complaint we have to use this.Haha. Sorry I talk on the phone to people for a job right now, and I finally got used to being screamed at and treated like crap. This is usually the best way to calm a customer down, I find, but you have to watch your tone, because even if you don't mean for it to sound rude or pretentious, it can. Do you work for AAA Carolinas? Because that's where I work (I'm a trainer at the call center) and everything you've posted sounds very familiar to me.

Okay, she's not retired, she's not a teenager, and she's not disabled or a stay-at-home mom. I work every day, 40+ hours a week to support my family. . . she can too. She doesn't need my money.
That said, I really like her new barn-stuff. It fits my country/farmland neighborhood theme very well.
