Glad the sites gone now, te site owner was giving me a lot of unnessecary greif. But thanks for uploading some of their stuff to the Booty. 

I have been spreading the word to friends I know in person, and those overseas through the internet. I've tried to make some posts on some forums to let people I know on them that paysites are infact illigal and they should support PMBD, and added credits to the site on any SIMS videos I make (I beleive I am repeating myself there) so I was wondering if anyone had anymore ideas that would help me promote the site to people who're being stubborn about PMBD being the one that is "illigal" and converting them to freesites.

Hello everyone, I have been gone for some time to work on several projects that are either SIMS 2 related or otherwise none of anyones business (ask if you want, I don't mind) but I was wondering...what is PMBD doing about promoting the site?
This is just out of curiosity; I have already tried to promote the site through recommendations to friends and family about going to PSMBD instead of the actual paysites, and have supplied a link to the site through my SIMS 2 videos that use content I got from here.
I have also been fighting with paypal to allow me to donate to PMBD, but once again I am in a loosing battle. So I must apologise for a lack in activity and for not making any donations. (I will slam my head on the desk if it will make you feel better? Lol.)

If this is in the wrong forum, then sorry again. I've missed comming here and reading the posts, most of which make me laugh after a very dull day, and haven't been here to see if anything new has been submitted to the Booty.

Ah, yes. I'm a huge fan of FF9 myself. it was my first ever Final Fantasy and I've loved it for many years...even after playing 7, 9 is still my favourite. Kuja is also my favourite character, and Dissidia is very exciting indeed. Although I think Zidans voice sounds a little girly (lol) but Kuja's sounds awsome.
I too have searched for posters of Kujaku, failed...but a model of him exists, but it is very rare and I only saw it on a Japanese shopping site for around 4,000 Yen (about that much). That's around £20 and if I am correct, it would be $40 in the USA. I saw it ages ago though and can't remember where I saw it, but next time I see it I'm getting one. And I will EVENTUALLY get back on the sims 2 and take a pic of Kuja! But Oblivion is hard to pull away from....so very hard...and I heard modding it is difficult too, but I've put up a request somewhere for any experienced modders to make a Zidane OR Kuja character for it (would be a race, methinks, like the Sephiroth characters).

From what I've heard, Dissidia will feature the main hero and main villain from each Final Fantasy game. Plus a few other hidden ones. So Kefka should be in the list too.
If he doesn't end up in it, I'll eat my hat....even though I don't wear hats. 

Lunaris, I have a KUJA sim avaiable for download. But I didn't make any of the meshes or genetics. I just recoloured the outfit and the hair. Modthesims2 rejected my content. Even though I tried my best to not include ANY meshes or genetics other than my recoloured hair and clothing. But still, I am rejected.
I'll find somewhere else to upload them. The sim is for FEMALE though and the outfit is based on Kuja's Dissidia one. I'll also try to get some photo's of Kuja, but since I just bought Oblivion and have applied Final Fantasy mods (that where totally free) to that, I am finding it difficult to pull myself away from Oblivion and jump back on the sims.

Nothing but greif from them, unfortunatly. I have even received a PM from another user who wants content from them, so it's not just a 'one-off' request anymore. It's a real shame this site owner is greedy, when so many other people out there are more generous...and less of an asshole than they are.

No she didn't take any money. She's just being a total bitch to my friends and making them feel like they are the criminals; she thinks they're suspicious and should be ashamed of themselves. The real person who should be ashamed, other than myself for even attempting to get anything from that site, if her. She's a money-grabbing attention whore, who looks like she's stealing other peoples work and making us pay for it. I swear I've seen a mesh for Tseng's hair and even Genesis' hair somewhere else by a totally different person...who gives them away for free and started releasing their content ages ago on MTS2.
I also stuck by my point and think hacking isn't a good idea. (not only is my friend immature but I don't want to come across as desperate for some handful of meshes. If I had the meshing technology I bet I could do better than this cheap-ass money-whore.)

She refuses to hand out passwords to anyone now, it seems. Not even my 3 friends can get one.
Do we have someone here who can rival her meshing? And put them on Modthesims2 for free when they've made them? Because it seems I am unable to find any other way of getting at the content now. I could ask a friand of mine to hack the site, but usually they mess around with the sites and have gotten into trouble before. (they are quite immature)

So my last option is a simple request to anyone who can best the meshes; could you make a Zack outfit and hair? We've made pretty much everyone else who's 'big' in FFVII except Cait Sith and Red XIII.

If they didn't make those clothes and hair meshes I'd love to know where they got them from...I could probably make better recolours.

I use to own a website that was just about to start publishing free SIms 2 content. But then it went bust because we didn't have time to manage it...with me and my friends and sister being at college or university nobody could look after the site. And eventually we ran out of money to keep it because nobody was donating to us (our content was all free, we just had an optional donation if anyone felt like lending a hand in keeping us running) or offering to become staff members.
We still have a site name, but it's our old one ( dbz-pokemon.com ) and it's closed at the moment because we still don't have enough time to manage it. We're going to start submitting our Final Fantasy, Death Note and various other Anime and Game content on Modthesims2 as soon as we fix the whole packaging issues. We can't mesh, but my sister is a really good recolourer. She made Kaneda's outfit from AKIRA with just the DJ outfit from Nightlife, and at first glance it looks like a brand new mesh.

They've deffinatly used SimCribbling skintones, I see at least a handful of hairs from the site too.
I do like SimCribblings items, but the only Final Fantasy thing I see on their is Kadaj's hair and eyes.

Not only did you misunderstand my accusations, panda, but you have turned it into a form of senseless drabble.
I was turned away from SilverWind when I approached politely and asked them to simply make their content free, for the sole purpose of the copyright reagrding Square Enix as a start and then further expressing the issues regarding the EA End User License Agreement. They refused to discuss with me any further and now they will feel my wrath.
I was concerned about them taking their stuff down before someone could get it for the Booty. When someone does and if they close after that, then it's tough. If they wish to act like an immature child and throw all their toys out of the pram then I'll let them.

And I own FFVII, but you can exactly play around with the characters as well as you can in the Sims 2. The difference being that FFVII is an RPG, and the Sims 2 is a sandbox-like game. You can do nearly anything you want with the Sims 2, so after I finally got fed up of playing FFVII's predictable story over and over I chose to put them in the Sims 2 and experiment. It's more entertaining to a certain extent. Watching Sephiroth set fire to his oven, get abducted by aliens and then get fired from work is just a handful of stuff that makes me glad I put them in the game.

And whenever you find the link, Quinctia, to that site you mentioned. Be sure to post it. If it turns out SilverWind stole content and is claiming it as their own, we can hurt them even more.
Someone should get this in the Booty though, the manners of this siteowner are not acceptable.
