I've been a black belt tae-kwon-do athlete since I was a 12 and I used to compete, so I believed I'd have no qualms about hitting somebody if I was attacked. Turns out on the one occassion that someone tried to molest me I hollered like heck before I even thought about hitting him. It worked, he left me alone and I've never since had a problem. Being trained to perform martial arts athletically leaves you with a huge disadvantage. I started training when I was a 0 (5 y.o. actually) and every single coach I ever had drilled in that what we learn on the mat stays on the mat. To this day I doubt I'd lift a finger against somebody, just cause I know I could seriously hurt them.

I'll support what has been mentioned before, rape or assault is rarely a phenomenon committed by strangers. It's more often than not people who you know and think you can trust. In my case, a friend I'd known since grade school who thought I was goofing around when I told him no the first 10 times. Just say no emphatically and if it's someone you know threaten to tell other people about their behaviour. (and warning other people about their actions is also a good idea).

Not trying to justify Evi here, but what she has presented as a kilim is pretty representative of what Greek kilims look like. I do know that Balkan and Egyptian designs vary a lot from those in Asia minor and greater. Maybe she should have labled them Greek kilims.

For me chickens are possibly the dumbest creatures in the world or seen from a different point of view the most scheming evil bastards alive. My F.I.L raises hens for eggs and they're pretty much free range. If I'm completely empty handed the bastards will keep their distance eyeing me up with contempt as if to say "We once ruled the world hairless chimp". The moment I'm carrying anything it's "Let's all swarm all over Alexia till she drops whatever she's carrying and hopefully fall down."

Free birds such as cardinals, swallows and robins I've got no problem with. Heck if it's winter, I always keep the old bread for them and I put out fresh warmish water for them to drink. Pigeons are flying rats and should be exterminated. I swear the bastards wait till I've just finished washing the car to take a crap on it.

Strangely though, if they've been cooked to oblitaration I can stomach them. Too bad my M.I.L. doesn't seem to get the notion. For me alas, heavy duty painkillers are now forbidden. Following a heavy dose of HELLP syndrome I got during my pregnancy, I shot my liver to hell and am now operating on 1/4 cirrhosis. So alcohol and any kind of opiates or codein are a big no-no. However I do prescribe to the FOJ's theory of walking it all off as even prior to liver-rot I never took painkillers. Just praying to god I never need serious surgery again or I'll be in a heck of a lot of pain...

When I saw it earlier today, I remembered how you were complaining a while ago about windows not having different recolourable textures. Looks like your wish came true. This is why I'm not leaving the Sims 2 community yet. Creators have just scratched the surface as far as fixing EAxis fuck ups are concerned and new ideas are implemented every single day... Who needs buggy Sims 3.

As to the matter of "UR MEAANZ HEREEEE", I really don't think so. Lately the whole atmosphere is way too nicey-nice. Over on GoS people get warnings for breaking the rules, here it's "Oh no...Let us not scare the poor lost lambs away!!!1!". Seeing idiocracy spewed on the phorum and no one saying a thing about it, is really sad.
