I actually think it's the other way around. That chairs have a built-in function that makes them snap to tables and desks. Stools for instance has a so-called 'joint' that does the snapping. If you forget to attach your mesh to the joint, the stool won't move.

Interesting, so the desks have no joints at all? I have to take a look at the desks, stools, and chairs and compare all the "jointings" and such.

My cribs are live!

Mustluvcatz, what a fun idea. I like all the colours.

Fway, very cool! It opens up a whole new world of design possibilities for babies and toddlers.

Have you tried modifying the routing slots? It's a really nice set, but if you find yourself playing with the routing slots you could make your sim sit in the right place.

I need a little more help on how to do that. I can do container slots, but have never touched a routing slot and a desk has 10 of them. I have no idea which one of them to touch.

Also, I thought the sim's placement in relation to the desk would be determined by the chair. They will sit down wherever the chair is placed - even if it's diagonal or outside the grid. And I must say I don't understand how modifying anything in the desk will allow chairs to be placed outside the grid.  Huh

How many tiles are the desk? Two? Three? If it's two I'm assuming you would want to move the routing slot x to 0 you'll just have to make sure the container slots match the routing slots so if you have the container slot where the computer goes for x set to say 0 you would want to try each routing slot one by one to see which one is which. Trial and error.

Coolness, fway.  Where can I get these wonderful mods?

They're going to be up @ MTS soon. They're in the queue. It was reccomended that I change the mapping for the high chair so that it has some SORT of texture on it. I did realize after the fact that it looked floodfill-ish. So here's how it looks.

It turns out Sims can use a computer placed in the center of a desk. It just looks a little funny, because the chair still has to be placed to the right in the grid, so they are somewhat displaced and the sim still has one leg in the righthand cabinet. Like this:

Have you tried modifying the routing slots? It's a really nice set, but if you find yourself playing with the routing slots you could make your sim sit in the right place.

I've done something I'd never thought I'd do until now. All of your toddlers will be able to have matching bedding like their parents:

Bedding Examples:

Yes, that is "regular" bedding being pulled from all 3 objects. EVERYTHING that is made of fabric is pulling regular bedding. Be ready for a freetime update as well. Wink

Ah, and I forgot to mention. I fixed an EAxian fail:

Gorgeous bedroom set, Moune! Now that I've got a new computer, I worked up my Sims 2 appetite and reinstalled EVERYTHING that I had on my crap computer.

I got rid of the plants that were on the ladder from that object in M&G and added slots to it. The only interactive object you should put on it is a radio, maybe a lamp for you creative peeps out there. It's slaved from the original object and comes with the plants that were on the ladder as well as the can where the plants used to be. I call it the "cludder."

The only problem with the object is that using the telephone causes the sim to impail its head on the ladder. I expected this to happen and no way around it.

It's in the queue now at MTS2.

Just for kicks, I was on bookface and decided to do a search on TSR and what do you know, TSR has a bookface page.

http://www.facebook.com/search/?q=The+Sims+Resource&init=quick#/TheSimsResource?v=wall&ref=search

Just another way to be doxed I suppose. Not fanning it, but I just wanted it to be known. You might want to make everything private/change names/etc. if you want to expose them on there, you'll have to become a "fan" in order to post.

Oh and I just found the page for PMBD! Awesome.

Isn't this just peachy keen. We can press charges, correct? It may just be my e-mail, but I definitely want to do something about this.

Some of those dresses are quite cute...it's the models that look disturbing.  Undecided
But here's something:

<snip>

Physical deformities. I'd hate to see the poor woman naked. -_-

I hope that download isn't 19.00.  Cheesy

She looks fat in the front, but skinny in the back, yikes!

Man, Thomas is just digging his own grave deeper and deeper. I can't wait for the shit to hit the fan and TSR dies. Once TSR dies out and TS3 tanks, the world will be safe again. I can't wait for that day.

Lame ass paysite TSR's frontpage. FAIL.

MTS2's  frontpage is not only customizable, but also comes with glitter ponies (not pictured).

My god, Beyonce looks manly...

Hmm, whomever it was created by (Chaz or Jerka) must have thought Beyonce "were (was) a boy."   Cheesy

<snipped>

It looks like a dinosaur's facial bone structure to me... And look at the horrors of the texture in the back!

Not to mention split ends.  Shocked
