Yeah, I don't really want Tristan or Jacob in my game so much as I want their hair. I'm a hair fiend I guess.

Who knows, but isn't libel fun? Cheesy Being overreactively nasty about video game content is a real joy, too.

So glad I'm not the only one that feels that way. =P

Wow, that new getskintight.net site is really open about the fact that they will SELL skins, no hiding behind "donations to keep the site up" crap.

I'm very sure that Emilie is not the person behind that site though.

But it's freaky, Emilie named get skintight after a "The Donnas" song. Can't see why anyone would want that name when It's already been used (or maybe that's the reason they want it). Doesn't exactly have anything to do with the sims either :?

It doesn't make sense unless you look at it from a business point of view. Often in business, you don't start an entirely new company with a new name - you buy an existing company and the intangible benefit of instant name recognition in the existing business community.

Which is great news for those that mentioned missing Get Skintight, as all the GS Emilie downloads from TSR are the content of Get Skintight.

If anything, I imagine she might do what she did before - when she actually closes the site, she might dump the currently free downloads onto TSR, like she did when she closed Get Skintight.

Right. The fact that for several months now, she has not had the donation set up on her site, implies (to me at least) that she found another way around her bandwidth problems. I don't really know that I can fault someone who had a donation set in the past, and then got rid of it when the discovered another way of doing things. Many CC creators are not professional site designers or very familiar with hosting in general. It takes a certain learning curve while they explore their options.

Perhaps I haven't had all my faith in humanity beaten out of me yet though.

Research people: Emilie has been at TSR as "GS Emilie" for over a year. She has a few sets up there. She is currently set as a "Retired Artist."

Anyways, I don't have a bad thing to say about her. I like her stuff and I think it's shitty to cry "TSR Sellout" everytime someone closes a site - especially since it's pretty obvious that Emilie had the good graces to put up a very open redistribution policy. I never felt that she had a donation set up to rip people off - in fact, it isn't even available on her site as far as I can tell. It seemed to honestly be about bandwidth, as her previous site had a lot of bandwidth problems.

People seem to forget that LA is the city that has effectively banned smoking. Those that smoke are a mistreated minority and the subject of intense harassment.

What you meant to say was "Vegas."

Maybe it was cold when they took the picture, so scarves are practical?

Well, y'know, heaven forbid that someone not dress like the fashionistas in SoCal dictate, no matter where they live or what season it is. Eyeroll.

I just thought I'd point out that scarves are very "in" with the SoCal fashionistas of both sexes, despite lacking any real use for them other than to look good.

TWINCEST.

I tell ya.  It's, like, incest.  In stereovision.

Did anyone else see the photo of the twins playing George and whatshisname in the Harry Potter movies protesting twincest?

Can you imagine what it's like to be them? Knowing that fourteen year old girls are publishing erotica about them and a quidditch broom on the web?
