The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: TSR: In Ur Accounts, Deletin Ur Stuffs!

I'm thinking after seeing the threads before they were nuked, could this be the work of nonrelated porn spammer? It's not unheard of, vBulletin forums are not that secure from spammers and bots ( http://i36.tinypic.com/29dbock.jpg - what happens if a forum is abandoned for a time) The 'sick' porn that replaced the pictures before was the work of a malicious asshat, the pornography in this forum was generic and run-of-the-mill, almost boring if you want my honest opinion. I am not dismissing that it could be the work of the same 'mysterious' hacker, I didn't see the porn threads that were posted in BPS (if someone has a screenie, I wouldn't mind seeing it) but from what I've heard and from what I understand, it was some sick shit.

Feel free to make creations for the meshes that I’ve made (both body and hair), but don’t upload them to any other site. After all, why would somebody get something for free if you had to pay for it? Because some of us were listening in kindergarten when we were told that it's nice to share with others instead of eating the glue.

For some reason, those tutorials by DOT always make me think of this wonderful quote by Lionel Hutz in regards to her attempts of saving TSR's shattered reputation: "We've got plenty of heresy and conjecture. Those are -kinds- of evidence."

Huh, this legal threat is much better than the last one they sent. Thomas actually signed his own name instead of sending it in the guise of 'NO NAME GIVEN'. That shows improvement, I really mean that. They've learned that anonymous legal threats have little effect aside from raucous laughter but until they realize that the point of sending legal threats makes little sense when there's no actual law backing them up, they will continue to do nothing but provide comical entertainment.

I have a simple request for Johan and TSR. As someone who isn't a creator or anyone else of any value in this community, who merely downloads for and plays the game and who was once a paying customer of TSR, I would like to see some clear and proven, without-a-doubt evidence of your innocence in the same degree as Coconut and PMBD has shown me.
You claim these are lies but the people here have provided documents and images which I can look at and judge for myself as true or false, I will not accept mere words because that's not the kind of person I am, I require more than just that and that goes with everyone, be they TSR sock puppet or a pirate. Though, I tell you this, I am more likely to take the word of those who have little to gain from lying and telling the truth then the word of those who have lots to gain from telling a lie and lots to lose by telling the truth.
If Coconut and the pirates here were lying, what would they have to gain from it? If they were lying, wouldn't TSR be able to defend themselves in a better method than a poorly written article detailing myths by using screenshots as evidence. Oh wait, there was a screenshot.. it was a faked screenshot demonstrating how screenshots can be faked (and not even a good one at that). If Coconut and the people here at PMBD were lying, it would only go to damage their cause when they were found out. They have -nothing- to gain by lying and everything (their credibility in this community, the complete destruction of their cause and one hell of a backlash) to lose.
This is the logic of a mere fan. I am sickened by what I've seen of TSR and I have yet to see anything that refutes that in any sort of way aside from a one-sided article that doesn't only attack the one side that doesn't hesitate to provide evidence when asked as liars and bullies but also has the complete gall to ask for evidence when they have provided none themselves. But I'm fair-minded and so, I'm giving TSR a chance. Come forward with the clear evidence that those screenshots are fake, that no private information was shared, that the watermarks inside the packages are not coded to bork people's computers and everything else that TSR has been accused of doing. By ‘clear evidence’, I mean screenshots that can be verified as true.

I'm disgusted but not surprised. What boggles me is that Thomas made the same mistake -again-. What he did will reach quite a number of people who have been on the fence between pay and free from the S2C Forums and his actions will most likely cause quite a bit of people to fall on the free side (as some already have).
I move that we thank Thomas and his gang of thieving bastards (like Shakeshaft) for proving that paysite owners are nothing but greedy, selfish assholes who will share and use private information of their customers, who will hack into another site and remove downloads to hide their thieving ways and who will sink to new lows every single week if it serves their purpose.
Fake Edit: I love that pie chart, Darqstar. Quite accurate.

“From where we site it’s laughable, but its a shame they are wrongly influencing people like yourself. I hope you look deeper and see the truth. You might like to at least wait until EA make a public statement about it next week.”Alrighty then, Steve-ody.

It takes a very twisted person to use the dying to improve their bank balance and reputation, a very twisted, selfish and soulless person. I have a hard time believing that someone would go to this length for just a game website, it’s in-fucking-credible.
And I hope that Windkeeper screenshot is real too. That would be awesome if it is.

Darqstar's post reminds me of my own experience with the type of people who fake Aspergers for sympathy or for excuse. One of my "friends" told me that her boyfriend has Aspergers and that's why he acts like a complete fuckfacedsonvabitchtwat. This guy has stated that he -enjoys- watching his girlfriend cry, he enjoys playing headgames with her and to me, he has always come off as one of those inferior little men who need to feel superior though another's weakness. It doesn't make things better that this "friend" is one of the most dependent women I have ever met, she -needs- someone to take care of her, she -needs- a man in her life, she -needs- attention.
When I asked her if he was officially assessed and diagnosed by a credible and professional clinician, she said no but he diagnosed himself with his mommy's help (His mother does not work in mental health or anything of the sort). It annoys me to no end that she has so readily accepted this blanket excuse from him and uses it against not only my advice but the advice of her other "friends" that he's no good.
While I do believe that Aspergers is a real mental disorder, I believe that mental disorders have been blown out of propertion in this era. It doesn't help when people (professionals and non) are so quick to come to a diagnosis without proper testing or assessment, don't even get me started on how frustrated I am about the whole 'medicate first, assess later' bullshit. I do apologize for my long rant, however, it's a subject that really irritates me because I will be working in that field come graduation.

His repeated use of 'we' and his past attempts -haha- at "promoting and encouraging" other fansites makes me picture TSR as one of those gigantic Borg cubes (in other words, one of Buntah's boxes that has been flood filled with the TSR logo by Atwa and 'shaped' by Dot), cruising the community and assimilating at will. It would explain the apparent lack of free thought that his remaining followers have shown.
God, I'm such a geek.

My 360 has yet to fry which is a good thing. I'm still attempting to destroy all the gargolyes in Fable II in between causing chaos and horror with my hobby of shooting the heads off hapless villagers with a master turret pistol and the sub-targeting ability of bliss and glee.
And in response to that ...thing... that aeris posted: "That's no city, it's a fail."

Most game companies have the sense to not announce a change of release date seventeen days before release though. Truthfully, to me, this is just another example of EA's complete disregard towards the fanbase and what bothers me the most is that the broad magority of the fanbase has merely allowed EA to stomp on them without so much as a whimper with everything else they've pulled.
And that picture of Atwat has seared my eyeballs. The goggles, they do nothing!

Heh, my grandmother had this wonderful saying which was taken from her experience during the Great Depression: "Don't spend your money on something that you can't afford."
Fine advice. It's a shame that some people would rather spend their money (and/or their Mom's money) on a website and then ask for more monies from the community right after it was purchased.

I'm sorry if this already has been posted (I don't believe it has) or if it's out of bounds but I have this habit when it comes to creepy-people on the internet. I run them through Google to see what I can find about them and boy howdy, Walt is busy on the interwebs. I used the location on his profile at InSIM as a cross-reference as well as his last name in my search and I'm 99% sure that (1% margin of error) that is the Walt. Take this article he wrote: http://www.nolanchart.com/article3401.html. Laugh or cry, I did the former.
