Darqstar makes a valid point and I wish I could add more to that but I think it's already been said.   All the information they have on me can be found easily through Google or at least one social network site that I've been on. If anything (and I hope it remains this way) it's served as a lesson learned and I will have to be more careful in the future.

Please correct me if I'm wrong (because I could be), but I think there's a problem with pinning this on TSR. If this is a list of names from the hacked petition (which is starting to seem more and more probable) technically Thomas didn't break TSR's privacy policy since the information is from somewhere else. Therefore TSR, the company, doesn't hold accountability for the information spreading, although that doesn't mean laws haven't been broken and there is at least one individual within TSR who is accountable. Either Thomas or someone connected to him obtained that information illegally, or Atwa hacked the petition (or knows the person who did) and is saying she received the info from Thomas in an attempt to disguise the source of the information. (We've only been told that Atwa said she got her information from Thomas.)

At least that's been my two cents. My brain is tired today.

I'm on the list and I'm not surprised by that since I have participated in TSR arguments on other sites including the BBS. I was, however, surprised to see a friend of mine on LJ who is on the list. Her TSR account hasn't been used in years and she has only participated in my personal LJ rants about TSR (which are months old now). She might be a member of MATY and some of the other sites people are mentioning, but I'm certain she would only be there for the mods and other downloads since she doesn't concern herself with the sims community as much as I do. She also says that she hasn't even done anything sims wise for at least a year.

Apparently "gift" and "donate" mean two different things even though you have to pay for both to get them.

This confirmed my suspicions they were associated with Peggy. Sad since I like their style, but they don't really add anything new in the way of downloads anyway, especially for male hair.

Just to let you know that guy isn't worth getting all riled up about or even arguing with. He's mostly out to cause trouble. I had a go with him about paysites and gave up because his arguments just kept getting worse and worse. He couldn't debate his way out of a cardboard box.

Have you seen what happens to a car that hits a moose?  The moose is more likely to be intact (though probably dead depending on the speed the car was going), but the car, not so much. The driver would be lucky to be alive themselves. The hunter scenario sounds more likely as sick as it is. 

I've left feedback for them after they closed Coconut's first account, though I'm sure it was in vain. LJ is pretty wanky. They've had their own little controversy in the past with an LJ account suspension. I can't remember what the LJ account was though... It was a group journal for something.  I would have abandoned LJ long ago if I didn't use to as a form of communication with friends and if I didn't like the Sims 2 LJ community as much as I do.

LJ has been a bit screwy today. Coconut is still up and going strong though. 

Wow. Just Wow. This should be printed into a novel. Seriously. Someone make a sim story about this!

I'm not too keen on most dramas, but this makes a great read. So many questions. So much wonder.  (*_*)

lol Maybe they thought it was ok since it's a euphemism, or maybe someone is trying to pull a Disney's The Litte Mermaid penis on the castle thing.   (although there are better words that would give that affect)

They are all frightening (in the not so good way), but that Grizzelda section posted by DollieD, the third picture down and the second dress over, that mesh scares me. Srsly, you'd have to remove so many bones and organs to acheive that. D:

Miss Read: Your sim is really pretty! I also like her unique look. Personally to me it doesn't seem like a valid reason since it seems more like a personal opinion that they felt she looked "deformed". While many of the realistic sims that do pass on MTS2 are fantastic (and envy the creators' abilities because I can't do it) it becomes kinda boring. I also find many of the realistic sims tend to look the same, especially the guys. Perhaps because many strive for model good looks or I haven't looked around enough.

I dunno, I don't want to sound like I'm dissing those creators because they are awesome. I just like lots of variety.  I'm glad you shared her with us, Miss Read.

You know, I got a GREAT reccomendation when the FAQ page is down for future n00bs: Don't post until it's back up and after you've read it! The world isn't expected to expire until 2030-2050, so, you have lots of time. 

kariminger: lol Do you really need a good graphics card to realize how bad that stuff is? Even when I was desperate for non-Maxis hair I never gave in to Chaz.  XD

That free hair I think is a Chinese culture style because I've seen it in drawings where the character is Chinese. I think it's cute, but I don't think I'd use it in my game.

The pay hair on the otherhand looks like hair extentions gone very wrong. It also reminds me of a really old Peggy hair that made me think of jellyfish.

Wow, that's uncanny. I have to admit it's pretty amusing.
