Boobs and nipples?  I don't see 'em.  All I see is something that requires a bucket to deal with.

I really hope you're just joking.  You're already way better looking.  Trust me.  I'm an expert in this sort of thing.

Stuff I made and is not released:

. . .

I dunno, I guess they're okay. Not totally spiffy, and the boots and belt weren't altered too much from Gelydh's. I'm feeling kind of bleh about my creations lately.

They are okay, but not the best I've seen.  Also traditionally kilts were worn by men.  If you could do traditional kilts for men, I would be interested in them.  The Maxis ones suck and aren't really traditional.

My first thought is to say that doesn't make much sense, but then I remembered we are talking about a paysite owner.  Now I think the idea is an interesting possibility.  S/h/it creates for us to make fun of it, and any money s/h/it makes, if any, is just a happy bonus.

A paysite owner not really interested in making money?  I guess stranger things have happened.

Nature_Girl--No harm done.  I have some pretty new macros and an itching to use them.  So if I could justify it I would have let them fly.

ry--I am man!  Hear me roar!  Join me in the cave and we can restore any testosterone problems I'm having in a hurry!

I don't think it will be much of a problem.  The main point of the post was the gratitude, and that is what this thread is for.  I would still encourage I Lost My Eyepatch to introduce himself at the appropriate thread though.

Though I've been expecting and dreading it since she joined T$R, it's too bad wolfie went over to the dark side.  I did like her housing schemes.

*sigh*

I think so, Duckie....I know we did have a discussion about comissions and whether itw as as bad as paysites...and I thin kwe decided it is.

What I can't figure out is why, with all the custom hoods and even custom FURNISHED hoods out there, why the OP at N99 can't just get one of those and spend her money on something real.

That's just lazy, IMO.

I don't think there is enough information to judge one way or the other.  If we give this person the benefit of the doubt, these possibilities occur to me:

This person does not know where to find custom furnished hoods or doesn't like the ones that are out there.  I've been on the lookout for brand new, furnished and populated hoods, but have not liked what I've seen so far.

As far as creating one's own custom hood, my own attempts so far have been, shall we say, less than spectacular.  That's why I started looking for some in the first place.

Actually, our only real clue to this person's motivation comes from her introductory sentences:

Quote
Every year I treat myself to something nice for Christmas. It’s usually a geek gadget, peripheral or something cool I want but haven’t been able to justify purchasing.

Personally, that sounds like someone with money to burn and who likes to be spoiled.

It's interesting how every time this thread appears to be over, Jan makes some sort of comeback...

Well, see, it goes something like this:

The good news is that they keep using cheaper and cheaper parts.  This means that eventually they won't be able to get her started again at all.

The bad news is that it could take a long time.  Look for at least a few more deaths and resurrections of the Jan-bot.

My laptop was going on the fritz before I installed H&M, so I can't say whether SecuROM had anything to do with it.  I haven't stopped having problems since I've gotten my new computer, but I figured it was Vista giving me the problems.  So I still have no idea one way or the other.

'Course, Bill Gates makes a better scapegoat than EA Games anyday.

Necromancy's bad, m'kay.  Cat macros will probably follow.
