Definitely wasn't thinking something as big as, say, MTS2 would be able to pull it off with this offer. But there's always a catch, I guess. For example, I technically have 'unlimited' cable internet connectivity through Time Warner (well, for now), but they always reserve the right to come down on people who are downloading 'excessively'.

I dunno. Not emotionally invested either way.

Heh. I play The Sims 2 off and on. This is about the third 'on' cycle for me in a row in which SFV has been down. I always hear about it, but have never even seen what the site looks like.

(Not complaining--I don't even know what's there, so I have nothing to complain about. It's just a funny coincidence. For a given value of 'funny'.)

I'm definitely willing to donate to the cause, but I'd also love to see the various fora broken out to their own servers/connections. I'd rather have fast forum speeds and just let the booty download in the background whenever.

Obviously both would be nice. Hence willing to donate. Just saying where my priorities lie. (Slow forums = more soul-killing than slow downloads.)
