Just work on the Sims 2 content for free! Every real fan does! As you said, the gratitude they give you makes you happy. Money can't make you truely happy. This is why the world has charities. People feel happy as they made an impact on other people's lives through charity work. Consider your work to be about the same, minus the impact of course, charity is second to NOTHING. Why not get a job first, if you can make a decent income, you could spend your weekends relaxing and designing some Sims 2 content. Just please, DON'T quit! I hate to see you go, as I respect every Sims 2 custom content designer, with the exceptions of paysite creators.

Lemme tell you a little story, cos I'm bored. I'm not sure if its true, but I'll go on. Mersenne primes is a number which is a power of two (two multiplied by itself) with 1 subtracted from it. What this story is trying to say  is that you should consider only taking such a massive undertaking of juggling work and the Sims 2 custom content making over a long period of time. Look at Cole, and see the results of his hard work?

(PS. This was quoted from the book "Murderous Maths, Numbers the key to the Universe. I frankly doubt the story due to Dr. Cole's full name, Frank N Cole, bearing similarity to frank and cold, which is a good description on how he was depicted.)

Replace them with heads of Egyptian Thomas, and make him wear a "I love Atwa" shirt. You can alternatively replace them with "Atwa" and "I had sex with Thomas and all I got was the FA job and this lousy T-shirt." caption on it. Make fun of all the FAs and SAs on TSR you don't like on the shirts. Don't forget to advertise MTS2, PMBD and other freesites on your creations! And include readmes that denounce TSR. Easiest way to get them off the server and your account too.

I'm tired just sitting down and complaining and biding our time till EA does legal proceedings. Or maybe they're too busy with Spore to actually sue.    *lots of hope* Or maybe not    *downs rum in sorrow* I just can't stand the paysites, especially the stuff they make don't even work properly sometimes, or are just ugly. How could PEOPLE PAY for that stuff?

*Paysites have never started an open campaign to eradicate us. (Reason? Doing so would make publicity to us.)

Consider this for Maxis as an investment, they recoup their loses and gain the loyalty of the fanbase, or they lose $$ but still gain the loyalty of the fanbase. When one of the paysite giants lose the suit, others might chicken out in the line and leave it voluntarily. Kinda like dominos. Also, cease and desist letters never work for this type. Enact legal proceedings, and the paysites will definitely not resist, with the odds stacked against them.

Thomas HAS to do some work.  In which company does the president not do the least bit of work? He would probably make all the big decisions like who to promote and who to demote, who to ban, major management decisions and etc. If he doesn't do any work, we would be complaining about some other paysite manager instead of Thomas, right?

That IS an excellent way of losing some fans. Tommy, Atwa, LyricLee and others aren't what I really call fans, I'll call them...... hold on.... lemme search through the dictionary.. dolts. Maybe some sheep will cry at EA for bringing down TSR, GlamourSims, Carla Niven, but then the stuff not submitted will (mostly, unless those driven by money quit their creative works) definitely be submitted to those fansites like MTS2 and others, I see absolutely no reason why EA should just take a passive-aggressive stance on an issue pissing off the entire fan community for several years. Nothing is lost and $$ is gained. I suppose the money they earn could feed off the lawyer's fees, and once they show the EULA, its pretty much a walkover, even if they bring up the bandwidth arguement(charging for bandwidth), our site can testify to counter that.
