Also, on a side note, I will also be include an unfurnished file for my houses for those that don't have clean installer, or who prefer unfurnished files instead in the near future. I use to do that when I had my own site, just for convenience for others. I just have to go in and delete all the stuff out of them for the two on LJ. Will do that today or tomorrow. Smiley

I may do some recolors on some walls and floors, and art. I have some ideas running through my head. Just don't know how they will pan out. I may also start placing my old files from my site and MTS2 on the LJ. Haven't decided yet though.

Thanks bigtruckgirl!
Also the unfurnished lots are much appreciated. I hate building houses and lots myself, so I usually download them and I have to look for the ones that are unfurnished/and or within the capability of my computer to handle. I have cleaninstaller, but I still appreciate it when the lots are already "clean"

Will be watching thread for unfurnished fragile eternity lot

Both unfurnished lots are up now. Smiley

Smiley I'd love to BTG, I'll send you a pm.. Smiley

And Snarky, that lounge set, it is teh gorgeous.  Grin

If anyone can use it, I've got one of the standard TS3 game patterns done in William Morris red and golds up on the exchange.. http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=126411

It's done for an Arts and Crafts (Victoriana) type home for TS3 which I'm still working on. Smiley

Hey Again!

I changed the settings on my LJ so anyone could see the posting and will do that from now on. I would ask though that people leave me comments and help me improve my stuff. I'd love the feed back and constructive criticism. I have emailed the link to you though Saraswati. Cheesy

Dr House thank you so much.. Smiley I spent a fair while on her.. I wanted to avoid that "bubblehead" we all hate so much. BTG, that house is gorgeous. Smiley I'm going to put it in my playing neighborhood for TS2.. Smiley I love stuff with a Victoriana feel. Do I need to join LJ to download? Smiley

Ok, I have two TS3 related questions for you guys, I'm getting ready to put together some content for Sublime.. Do you prefer Sims in the package installer format or straight out of the saved Sims folder? Secondly, I'm creating room sets and I want to know.. if I share them in the TS3 installer format, can anyone download that, or should I be grabbing the file from somewhere else?

Hey!
I have it set up like that so I can keep track of who is downloading what, BUT if you PM me an email addy to send it too, I'll do that for you. I am working on another one now. Can't sleep tonight, too much running through my head. LOL
7  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: Look at what I made and om nom nom it! (Post your creations pt. 2) on: 2009 June 09, 16:08:49
Just a suggestion--could we make a separate Sims 3 nom nom topic?  Or at least enforce a "I made this for Sims 3" disclaimer rule?  On houses it's kind of hard to tell.

Since I'm not planning to clutter my hard drive with that turkey until it's so thoroughly debugged it's unrecognizable, it would be appreciated.

I only do for Sims 2 as I am not planning on anything from Sims 3 to be on my PC, so all of mine are Sims 2. Smiley

Finally got my game running, made a couple of things. Also put my newish self sim (now showing some of my new piercings. I have a few more now. LOL) up at my new LJ site .

You will have to friend me to download, see my profile for the link.

10  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: Aikea and Gelydh have their own site... on: 2008 April 26, 17:00:02

Raychael said this over on GoS, and I felt it would end this fairly well:

“So I suppose what I'm try to say is that I'd like you to give us the benefit of the doubt; we're not stuck-up, egotistical maniacs, just incredibly anti-social and somewhat uncomfortable with talking to people. We're really glad to see so much support over our decision to leave TSR, and it's greatly appreciated and has helped a lot (it's also a bit weird, we honestly didn't think people liked our stuff that much to care!).”

-Danielle/Aikea

I think you will find that now that you are outside of the TSR bubble, there are many out there who understand how you both feel in this respect and will welcome you with open arms. Aikea, your post was beautifully done, and all of it was well said, and the issues at TSR are pretty clear. Thank you for the wonderful explanation on how you both saw it, and welcome! Smiley

PS. BTW, your and Gelydh's creations are well sought after, have no fear about that. Wink
11  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: SFV on: 2008 March 17, 15:31:46
Alternatively, you can just continue to leave the area unfilled, and if it becomes demanded enough, I'll just open a file exchange block here, thus resolving the debate. I haven't done it because A: You already did, and B: it'd be extra work I don't need, but since if you don't care to do it anymore, I'm sure I can streamline the process quite nicely.

And, you know, we could MAKE a WCIF section, if we really wanted it. And it would have rum and cats.

My 2 cents worth, not that one would care, but I don't like the idea of a file sharing system like SVF here.

1)There is not scan to put the files through if the links are open like they are at SVF, thus more banning by sites like TSR.

2) We get watched more, and more shit happens and not in a good way. We get more stupid ass trolls and paysite owners who are fucking annoying.

3) I just see it becoming a mess and a half, cluster fuck extraordinair.

A WCIF would be Ok though, as long as you made someone a Mod to keep it cleaned out and organized.

Doncha know the reason I have more creators at my site is that they all wanna be knocked up by Nouk?

I don't want to be knocked up right now, let alone by Nouk or Jessica (that would be some fantastic tabloid news though)!

Weird. Just out of sheer curiosity, I just did a search for "Nuggo" and the only thing that came up was this thread. And BTG, the link you posted shows this for me:
Quote
The topic or post you requested does not exist

Unless it's in the super secret Arr-Harr! forum or something, anyway. (And I'm so gonna laugh if there's actually a super secret Arr-Harr! forum   )

I linked the wrong one, and the thread linked doesn't exists anymore (I had it bookmarked and cached I suppose). I'm dumb today (consider my one slip up a Christmas present to you all. Tongue). It was listed in the donation thread as a site we needed (and that is what I thought I was linking to), but that was edited out when the drive ended.

Now please go back to the happenings of PMBD. Cheesy

Oh and if someone would like to donate a sub, we'd be happy to have it as no one would during the drive.

HI

I found this site: http://www.nuggo.com/sims/

the webmaster has opened his donation area today!

The search feature is your friend, if you had used it, you would have known we knew about Nuggo.
