I'm happy to donate, you guys do great work! A Pay Pal link would be handy. Saying that, is it just me or is there a bit of irony here? If this site accepts donations, in a way it becomes a paysite. hehe :? :wink: :lol: Well, A donation is an Optional thing you dont have to do it. Where as someone like peggy's site her "donation" is a thing you pay to get extra, paysite downloads. PSMBD is not asking you to pay to download, they're asking to get extra resources to make downloads faster. Hopefully that clears a few things up  thanx, it was meant as a joke really :lol: |

Thanks for your reply.
I never noticed what it said on the homepage when I first paid. Saying that, it could have been there, but remember seeing it until after I paid and could access the downloads. Incidently, when I did notice this message I also assumed she wouln't expect another payment because she was shutting the site down.
I have spoken o PAYPAL and intend on giving them a more detailed description conerning my problem. In the meantime, I felt it was necessary to post this because she needs to be exposed for what she is. A pirate! LOL

Until I discovered this forum I was happy to give support or donate to a fansite. This site has opened my eyes an I won't give my money up anymore. Thank you for that. Now, I have a little problem and I would appreciate any help and advice. It may seem a trivial problem, but, as they say, it's the principle.
I signed up for a month's membership at cocosims on Feb 4 2007. I paid using PAYPAL, however I could not access the site. I posted a few emails to Tammisha Beckles who's site it was with no reply. On the 10th I got a letter apologising as she had been away. Fair eough. She also added she would credit my account for the time I missed. On march 3 2007, I get an email from PAYPAL confirming a payment to Tammisha Beckles at cocosims. I wrote her immediately and said I didn't want another month. Let's face it, her site is limited and I'm not here to support her finacially. Anyway, no reply to my email. Having faith in human nature didn't help me here. I wrote and said I was assuming she was away again and gave her the benefit of the doubt. A month goes by, and still no replies. I decided enough is enough and contacted PAYPAL to dispute the payment. Guess what? I was too late as there is a time limit when you want to dispute. I was livid. To date, despite flooding her with emails she hasn't even reponded to say, haha I ripped you off. How can I get justice??? All advice will be appreciated. I'm not going to let this one go until she answers for what she's done. Yea it may be a measly $5, but like I said it's the principle. Thank you for your time.

Do that. Do it now. Took your advice, I have filed a complaint. I know it's only a few dollars, but I'll be damned if she gets it. BTW, heard you too ScreamMyName! Thanks! Noticed you were getting a bit worked up! :lol: Don't! It's not worth it. I appreciate your good advice. So, be happy about that and ignore the negative. This site is entirely new to me and I was unaware anything like this existed until today. I paid for a subscription on CoCoSims. Yeah, I know I'm stupid. I see the light now. The problem I have is trying to get the second month payment refunded from her. The cheeky B***H took another payment and I have tried repeatedly to ask her for a refund. Especially since I emailed her before my first month was up. All emails so far remain unanswered. My only option is to dispute the payment with PayPal.
