Shino, shino, I had hoped that with this thread (at least with the Original Post) we would be able to talk you out of it. Hercubus, by showing her confusion and deception, and, on the other hand, her liking on your stuff, could get some attention to your side so people could do something. Because, let`s be frank, TSR is for the desperate. But you, sadly, kind of destroyed your reputation with your own posts. It wasn't us. You said it was for selfish reasons; you said that moving to TSR have little to nothing to do with bandwith issues; you made a poor comparison between MTS2 and other freesites and TSR; you said that your time and effort were so more valuable than the "normal people's" that you had to be paid.

Your stuff is appreciated, shino, sure, but your instances are not. Please, take a time and re-think the whole situation. See it with another perspective. Why am I getting bad comments instead of "it is expected of pirates to bash me".

If you do come up with an answer, we will be here to hear (read) it.

Agreed heartily . But what about "retired creators" or creators that, for many reasons RL obliges us to face, didn't have much time to set up a storage account, unlike the much awesome Sussi?

For active creators, it isn't hard to come up with a solution, but what about the ones who have vanished from the community altogether?

I will re-post what I said over MTS2 for visibility purposes. I am a  bit confused  about some critters and definitions (specially of the new pay temporary archive) and I got a little worried...

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find the answer.
The recolors/sims etc with pay content uploaded prior to these rules, they will be moved to an archive, right? But after moving them all to this archive, what will happen to these downloads? Will they be deleted forever? Will they be offered to be re-uploaded on another site? Will they be stored on MTS2's servers?

I agree plenty with the new rules, and always thought it was a contradiction that MTS2 would not support paysites (and vice versa, right, TSR?) but would provide free ad space. Sure, it was a "crack in the system" rather than a billboard, but still...

However, deleting forever content that (1)was made before the whole paysite vs freesite debate even came up and (2) doesn't exist anywhere else anymore is a bit harsh, too... maybe the creators of such content should be PM'ed? Maybe send these creations to the Exchange (so that EA will pay for paysites's advertisement rather than us)?

It's just me or some German pay sites closed in "protest" because the money isn't "flowing"?
Let's see how ridiculous it is

1) A paysite closed because people were discussing the legality of pay sites. Guess freedom of speech isn't desirable when it is not in your favor.
2) They punish everybody in the community for the "immoral act" of some. How fair.

Guess they aren't here for the community aspect of the game or for the glee of having a hobby. This whole boycott has no other goals than give pirates a bad name and force people give them money or else. Really, could it get any more fucked up?

And this, the whole boycott, happen because we (i use the term loosely, as I, myself, haven't done anything relevant) dared to discuss the issue; because we gave people alternatives. Evil? Unfair? And how do you(they) call holding content -  that should be free and a fucking hobby - for ransom? How do you(they) call this fucking hypocrisy? ZOMG THEY ARE EEVUL AND BAD TO ARTISTZ when in fact the case is FUCK, THE BASTARDS ARE RUINING MY BUSINESS?
