1  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Look at what I made and worship me! (Post Your Creations) on: 2007 June 07, 20:36:32

Why is it so hard to find houses without custom content now a days?  So I downloaded your house Pennynne, looks spacious enough with the basic necessities of life, a decent sized house, a drive way space and space for gardening if necessary.  Feel free to make more like that for me.

MiniROLL Sims

Lots of houses, no CC

I got a little excited (and I'm bored because I'm having meshing problems and don't know how to fix it) so I made THESE:

Are these guns pretty? Have they got a nice glitter effect on them, and a new daintier mesh?

or are they like the majority of CC out there and blow off your hand because the trigger is on backwards.

I quite agree, and DAMN your new av is hot.

heh, thanks

and really, i already payed EA for this stuff, i'm not paying some self proclaimed artiste to buy it again in a different color. If it was thier job, the check would say EA not PayPal.
8  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / You are OBLIGATED!!!! on: 2006 November 28, 01:43:28

You know, I should include an "obligated" in the form of "You are required to send this file to 10 other people or horrible things will happen to you. So-and-so sent this file to 10 other people and something cool happened. So-and-so didn't, and some horrible thing happened to him."

Yay chain files~

Just remember that the creators will STOP creating the good stuff if it stops being worth their time and effort to do so.

So, if the creator doesn't get any money, it's NOT WORTH THE EFFORT! Seesh!!!

It's not their damn jobs, its a freakin hobby ffs. Thier choice to upload, I sure as hell didn't ask for it, and if you can't afford the site, then CLOSE IT.
10  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / It raises it's ugly head everywhere. on: 2006 November 27, 18:37:54

I'm still waiting for EA to steal my work. What the hell is taking them so long? If they had stolen it, the patch would be out by now!

*sends maty link to EA* Catch a clue EA!

If only they would.

Yeah, seems like everyone but me knows some evil hacker to do their bidding for them? Why can't I find anyone like that? Having to do it yourself is such a pain in the neck.

Naw, you know you live to to be a thorn in someones side.

13  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / nice message on: 2006 November 07, 14:23:53

I was around the Sims community when Livin Large was announced and I can assure you that paysites were not around then. People had already started to create objects, but no-one started charging till Mall of the Sims. The outrage it was huge. Then they all realised there was money to be made and they all started going pay.

Omg your right. I remember them, they were free and hosted a bunch of peoples stuff and it was neat 'cause it made it easy to find things, having it under one roof so to speak. Then all of a sudden you couldn't get in without paying. Last time I was there was the day they started charging 'cause it was stupid back then and its stupid now.

I live comfortably and could pay for what I wanted, but I am big on principle. Charging for time you give freely for a hobby is wrong, and it is a hobby, because unless you are getting a paycheck from EA, you don't have any claims on what you derrived from EA's content.
