You know... I wonder what would happen if we somehow made real versions of all this weird clothing, as realistic as possible, and made all their creators wear them.  And maybe got some huge, elaborate wigs made of sharp fiberglass or something, and cut big gaping holes in the middle of them.  Do you think that would give them a bit more perspective?
