This may not fit the game exactly, but it sure annoyed me when I discovered it this afternoon. According to the Rosesims2 website, a donation hair from last fall looks like this:

Actually, that's probably your graphics card, and not the hair itself.
Long time ago I had a similar problem with an outfit from Sims Connection. There was this huge big spike sticking out of the guy's belly. I wrote to Sims Connection about it, but they just told me they were unable to recreate the problem - which kind of pissed me off at the time. A few months later I got a new computer with a better graphics card, and the problem disappeared.
i had the same issue my plants were spiked.
