For petes sake, if Liegen asked every fool who makes a mesh (free or pay) if it's "okay with them" and thier ego for her to distribute...with credits I might add...then she would still be getting sign offs.  Who wants to make a whole list of yes and no "artists"?

If you are wondering why you create for this "community" then quit.  This shit is a game and it's fun to make new things for it.  If you want recognition, praise or money--get a patent.  If not, then don't whine.

I think any creator would be honored that quality artists recolor their meshes and distribute them with credits to the author AND links to their site included.

It is certainly better to be pissed off than pissed on, so get mad if you must.  Honestly...do any of these people pay your salary??

OMG, I can't believe she charges for recolors that don't even complete the mesh.  

I downloaded her stuff, there are a few things that are nice enough to use that I will probably have to fix or just convert to another mesh.  

I cannot believe the incompetance of not finishing the recolor or just turning a mesh black (as in that black dress up there) with out any fabric texture.  That's ... so... rookie.

Eww, ROFL @ that nasty orange jacket/shirt outfit.  Simchic has several nice things, but NO...I would never pay for their stuff either.  I've downloaded a lot of their free stuff. But, hell, their free stuff is as good as the pay stuff to me.

That's a great idea.  I have seen a few others change their policies on mesh inclusion with downloads.  I'm glad to see you do this too.

I have included some meshes myself in a few items but sometimes I worry about getting "caught" and I don't want to get the site(s) into any trouble with the mesh owners.  LOL

I hope you don't get any shit from mesh owners for doing this.

LOL @ Chaz uploading to MTS and deleting it 2 days after.  I have downloaded a few of their hairs from TSR and the meshes suck.  How could anyone with such shitty hair make you pay for it or put it up for free on MTS and jerk it out??  Sounds like a dramawhore to me too.

Well, yeah.  The mesh must be crappy to cause all that "clipping" that was talked about earlier.  I just won't recolor shitty meshes, makes your own work look shoddy.

Could she have at least finished the outfit??  This is shabby work and ugly to boot.  Pitiful for money...

I have to agree that this whole thing is pitiful.  I never did much looking at TSR until I got the booty link.  I have to agree about Chaz and Willstefan, their stuff looks better in the pictures.  I like Will's eyes and I thought Chaz's hair was nice...until I got it in game.  

There are several FA at TSR that just have crappy stuff among some very talented artists.  Most of the meshes with high heels suck, but ppl keep putting out the ugly clothes on them.  Yeesh, why can't they figure out a better ankle/shoe combo instead?

I have to agree that most red colors suck bad.  I do a lot of hair recolors and they seem to go over rather well with folks.  

There are several pay hairs that I want to recolor and share but I have never put them up because it does suck to find out that you have to go pay for the mesh.   :roll:

But, Bluesoup just gave me an idea.  Perhaps I will just link to the booty where the mesh can be downloaded for free and begin to release a few recolors.

I am also guilty of just including the mesh on one recolor set I released for convenience.  What do you think about that??  

I would almost rather hotlink to just stay out of trouble.  But I don't know how.
