There are ads all over it - but they don't flash and aren't annoying.  There are no popups though - more bullshit from the drama llama.  And as far as I can recall, she's had those ads there since she started bitching about Pescado.

Oh now HystericalParoxysm - that has to be a new ultimate low for stupid conversations - the difference between life forms and dollies and creatures?!?

I don't think that this site or its users are the dark side - I believe that they are the ones who have seen the light.

I got a fancy videocard for christmas, my friend whos a tech installed it. A couple days before New Years started freezing, getting Blue screen. So, he's coming Thursday we're going to reinstall everything etc.

It's your video card driver - if you have an Nvidia, some of the newer drivers don't work well and you get the blue screen.  I had to revert to an older driver and my sims goes like a charm !Try that first before you reinstall! I have an Nvidia 6600 - and I installed a driver someone else recommended - 71.89 - and all my problems disappeared.

Amen. I am so tired of hearing HOW GREAT Pets is. So many people jumped on me when I said it was garbage--it's the worst expansion. (at least we got some useful items with University).

I have given up interacting with the Pets in my game. I find they add little to gameplay.

Well, all I've heard is how Pets sucks.  I personally like it.  I agree with Renatus' hypothesis - that you don't want to add all the extra animations in one expansion - it'd end up snowing puppies

Well, I am so going to dissent - I like my girlie looking men in the sims - not quite as girl-like as Sshodan's, but certainly very girlie.  My male and female sims are sometimes only distinguishable by clothing or hairstyles.  And almost all of my male sims wear some sheer lippy and all of them wear eyeliner and blush.

The parrots are very interactive - flying around my houses and yelling for food *hungry little buggers*.

I haven't done any womrat ownership yet - I have a real mouse, and would feeling like I was robbing Cream (mouse) if I spent time with virtual womrats

I'm lucky enough not to have too many bugs, and have only the insimenator and a community lot sleeping hack in my game, so I'm pretty pleased.

I personally expected to be disappointed with Pets after all the bad reviews I read, but I quite like it.  And I'm not a pet person.  I spent 6 or 7 obsessive days trying to get a werewolf, and love the little simmie pets - their autonomous actions, the way that they act like real pets (scratching themselves and biting their legs, dogs running from baths etc).

Yeah, I can't access the booty or MATY - sucks the big one.  I really wanted a couple of hacks from MATY - but I'll wait patiently.

According to this site here (click on the news links) Thomas owned Mgon, and when it went under he bought it with oddjob media I presume.

Actually,

Thomas O. Isacsson
OddJob Media ab

turns up a lot more information - these are the people involved with it:

Jan Isacsson, Art Director/Projektledare (jan@oddjob.se)

Thomas Isacsson, Art Director/HTML/CSS (thomas@oddjob.se)

Eva Åström, Ekonomi

Might be fruitful to search for their names.

You know what happens when a slug is bad?

It gets reincarnated as a Kewian. Karma can be very cruel.

Poor Kewian - two sites to be persecuted on.
Quote from: "Pescado"

I always thought that was a corollary for if your parents were genetic defectives, you, too, will likely be defective.

Nah - genetic defectives aren't mentioned - but baptism washes away all your parents sin burden - just in case your kids ever need it Pescado

Wait, your sister thought giving up a child for adoption was a sin? WTF?

It sounds like your sister had/has a very serious disability: namely, lacking a heart.

No, my sister has an even more serious disability - both brain and heart are lacking.  It wasn't me who gave up a child - my eldest sister gave up 4, and unfortunately the last child she had has Duchennes muscular dystrophy and O was telling me about how she deserved it and that God was punishing her blah-de-blah.

Lacking a heart because of the idea and lacking a brain because she's a "pick and mix" pagan (she doesn't follow any rule if she doesn't want and has a pick and mix idea to religion, while calling herself a pagan).

To soup parrot - when I read the Bible it was "the sins of the father shall be visited upon the son" - that's the reason that you need to be baptised - so I have a smart answer for anyone who tells me that again.

Yes, I agree, a well written paper gets a lot of forgiveness from me.  And also, if the source from wiki is right, and it is not the only source (such as www.stanford.edu~ethics or something similar) I don't bother to take marks off - but I do point out that it's not acceptable.

I'm kind of unclear about what sort of information you're looking for Soup Parrot - but if you tell me, I'll be happy to look.

I've been sitting waiting patiently - but this is absolute torture - when is this gossip going to surface?
