I had one too. Mrs. Jennings was an evil bitter dried up old prune who hated kids. She was my 3rd grade reading teacher. She would grab kids by their hair and yell at them just for looking at her wrong. I was generally a good kid and got good grades. I had respect for adults and authority figures. My dad was cop, so I kinda had no choice. Anyway, this woman was a total nightmare. I remember doing a homework assignment with my mother's help. The next day I somehow lost the assignment. It fell out of my notebook on the bus, I think. When it came time to turn in our homework assignments, I couldn't find mine. I was looking everywhere for it frantically when Mrs. Jennings came to my desk and asked for it. I told her I did it but couldn't find it. She immediately accused me of lying and took me to the principal's office. She told him to give me a paddling because I had not done my homework and then lied about it. She couldn't paddle me herself because at the time only the principal was allowed to enforce corporal punishment. So he decides to make me sit in his office all day waiting to get paddled. Even made me eat lunch in there. Then at the end of the day just before the last bell, they both come in to the office. Mrs. Jennings then proceded to yell at me while the principal paddled me. They said they would not stop until I admitted that I didn't do my homework and that I lied about it. I just wanted to go home so I did what they wanted.
I told my parents what happened. The next day they went to the school and raised holy hell. My dad was literally screaming for this woman's head.
I was placed in a different class after that and I never saw Mrs. Jennings again. I have no idea what happened to her, but she was old then, so she's probably dead now.
That was the only time I ever got in trouble at school.

I actually have a side business restoring old photos. I use photoshop to fix them, and I do a lot of airbrushing and copy/paste, then airbrush some more. I use almost every tool photoshop has. I also use photoshop to create vector art, so I know how to use photoshop extremely well. I can tell you that anything can be photoshopped. If the person who does it is adept enough, there is no way for anyone to tell it has been altered. At least not just by looking at it. I suppose someone who knows how, could look at the code within the jpeg. But that would take some real smarts, and I don't see Dot being capable of that.
I know how to alter a scan of a photo, pixel by pixel, I could easily retouch a screencap to make it look however I want. I wouldn't, because I don't believe it's right, but I definately could.
That being said, I still believe Coconut's screencaps. She/he has no reason to fabricate or alter them (except for personal private stuff that is respectfully blurred). It would only hurt the cause to do so.

I once did a short stint as a reading tutor for Americorps. (I was placed in the same district that Mary Kay LeTourneau had worked in, before her scandal.)
A very poor district with a lot of ESL students, I thought I could actually do some good. I remember my friends trying to tell me that there was no hope for those kids and I was wasting my time. It would make me so mad, and I just wanted to prove them wrong.
I had 12 students a day, one at a time, that I would tutor at the school in between their regular classes. Most of them were ESL. These kids in particular were very good at decoding what they read, but terrible at actually understanding what they were reading. They could read aloud with great articulation, but when you asked them what just happened in the story, all you get is a blank look. I had a hard time with that, but the worst part of the job was the mountain of paperwork required for everything. Americorps needs to be able to show that they are doing some good, so they make their volunteers fill out evaluations for everything. I ended up resigning my spot because I simply could not keep up with the paperwork. It was a ridiculous amount of forms and charts and evaluations, all supposedly designed to define their progress, but instead it got in the way.
I miss working with the kids, but I hated that job.

The house is overall rather bare, but the objects are really detailed. Especially like the laundry room, wish mine looked like that. Tongue

I already have most of the same custom content that's in those houses. It's fun to see how other people use the stuff. Athough I think I use it better.  Wink

Sarah Palin graduated high school, and she had to be told that Africa was a continent and not a country.

I love those posters. I actually have the first one, "Chat Noir" in RL. There's a whole series of those. I found them somewhere (probably MTS2) for my sims.

It's nothing more than information regurgitation.  *cram*   *take test*    *forget everything*

Graduating high school ('88) was one of easiest things I've ever done. Of course, the Tennessee educational system is the second worst in the country ( second to Mississippi). How hard could it be?
But, 20 years ago, I didn't have to worry about texting, or guns, or the internet. We didn't even have a computer in my school of over 2000 students.
There's so much more drama these days. Too much pressure being put on kids to act like young adults, makes them lose their innocense way too early.
I have an 18 month old, and I plan to home school her for all of these reasons.

I'm thinking that if World of Warcraft players found out that they were getting screwed by Blizzard, that would be a newsworthy story. So why not this?
I agree with neriana. We all need to do whatever we can to get this out in the open. Make it common knowledge. Write to every mass media outlet you can think of, as well as the people at EA. Take out full page ads, rent billboards, call the freaking national guard for fuck's sake! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAArgh!

Sorry about that last part there. Sometimes I can't control my outrage. I'm ok now. Cheesy

I hate that it forces me to imagine that poor woman's ass being bisected by the thong.  *shudders*

Yes, I love how the butler walks in near the end, and is only concerned with how clean the counter is. Then he turns around as if to say "I'm gonna have to clean that counter now."

elencha, I just watched the bigfoot movies, and well, er,...............they're FABULOUS!

It's just the kind of creepy low-budget cheese fest that we are looking for. Am I right?
I actually giggled during the whole thing. I have a rather sick sense of humor though. Grin
