Hooray for thanks! I think there's a bit too many thank you posts now, what's the policy on them?  :P

maybe someone could make a sticky of a Thank You thread? save space on people just randomly saying "thank you" (like i did).

but really... i do appreciate a place like this. i just felt bad taking files and not saying thank you.

Baaa

Ya, mostly people have been tossing thanks in random threads that are open.  But a general thank you sticky might be good just so you don't get floods of them in your discussions and new threads.

Which, by the way,  baaaaaaaaa.

Baaaaaaaaaah.

A sticky would be nice.

Baaaaah? So, that's an English sheep?

I'm going to say "Bκκκκκ". It makes more sound to me!

I vote for that sticky post as well.

As an Englishlady, I have found sheep are most likely to make a 'bleeeeeeeeeeeah' sound. Naturally, if I was Welsh, I'd have a different experience of the sound sheep make...

*runs orff giggling*

I really don't know.  My experience with sheep is very limited.  To, um, sound clips and maybe the zoo.  That's what I learned from years ago and it doesn't really... matter to me.  :P

Cows go moo.  I once read a huge discussion about whether cows go "moo" or "ner" and the only thing I remembered from that was that cows actually said "mooner"...

It always amuses me how different "animal sounds" are from culture to culture. Cows go "Meuuu" in French, though I prefer "Mooo" because I think it's cuter.

That is SO random. XD

There was a site that I found on I-Am-Bored that had people from a couple different cultures make animal noises.  I spent almost twenty minutes listening to people make animal noises.  (I have a life, I have a life, I have a life...)

God, if I could find it again...

Founds it.

Viva la Internet! It gives us plenty of stuff to do when bored, hehe.

Ensign EO, I think I love you. That is quite possibly one of the best sites I've ever seen. EVER.

Also, it completely amazes me that North Korean is almost consistantly different to English, even though Japanese isn't, and they're so near together. I should have got an edumacation and done me some anthropology at university!! :D

I think "ner" is just for Japanese cows.  And their dogs say "wan."  And their cats say "nyan."  And their birds say "piyo."  And that's all I remember.

And now I'll never get my homework done 'cause I'll be distracted by animal noises.  Damn you, EO!

I had a really awesome post typed out thanking Ensign EO for that site, it being one of the best thing I'd ever seen. But then Firefox crashed, due to me having the latest Bond theme on the brain thanks to the Sony Bravia advert, and Chris Cornell's MySpace (incidentally, Audioslave and thus Chris Cornell are a bad thing, due to personal reasons)....but suffice it to say hoooray! Animals say different things in different languages, and they also hear different things and it's weird, and if I was properly edumacated, I'd study anthropology at university because of it. :D

What?  What?

That's okay because I sure as hell won't be looking at my homework until tomorrow, or much later tonight.

And clearly Jesse has addled her brain because of all the crazy flying around the Sims community.

I see what you did there.

And also, I don't see anything else I could be made of!!! Apart from boobs and Pokemon, perhaps.

Boobs and wine sound good. Firefox is nice, but I can live without the internet. Pokemon is right out.

I have never done a barrel roll. Is it like a roll in the hay? A jelly roll? Help me here.

All of the above, and then some!

I like cinnamon rolls.

Pokymans are so old.  I think I was possibly a larger fan of the Digiman and somewhere in the all the boxes of our crap, there are Digimon figurines.  And then two notebooks full of Pokemon cards.  Yes.  I'm pretty sure they aren't worth anything, but I remember being ecstatic about the shiny special cards that you were supposed to take extra care with.

I can barely afford to bring my gf on a date but my kid sis is addicted to the game and whines whenever she can't have what she sees on paysites...WTF?
I have to save up on my new console I'm eyeing and she keeps begging for
a sub on Peggy.  So thanks guys , a lot.  I'm the only shmuck who has paypal and credit card in our house since my parents are old school and come on, after practically dying from laughing about openhousejack (perv, big time) I would never have my moolah anywhere near some crazy, lonely  looser with an ego as big as j.lo's ass.  but I love that part of her ;)
