Title: Game, 'Translate the EULA'
Post by: tIIsuggas on 2006 November 20, 12:52:00
Taken from EA's EULA.

Quote
At EA's request, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless EA from all liabilities, claims and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising from any breach of this License by you and/or your use or misuse of the Tools & Materials.

Translation

Do not come running to us (EA) when you fuck up and break the terms of this agreement.  we want no part of your stupidity.

Nah, it translates to "Share pay content exactly how you like, it's not theirs to sell anyway"

Well........ EA is in the right for saying such things.... But I have lost all respect for them after the total screw up with pets.... So basically anything they say has no weight on anything.... Just use them to get the games and ignore them when you have it.......

The click worked, but it does not say what the place is, nor any reason for anyone to be interested.
It looks like the BBS.

CC made for Pets isn't backwards compatible.  That is, content made with Pets will not work with previous expansions.  So all the pretty new hairs I've downloaded that were made with Pets have borked my game, and I am cheesed.

Yes, and you misspell most of the words in your posts, too. I've got a word for you. It's spelled D-I-C-T-I-O-N-A-R-Y and it is your friend.

What mean-spirited parents.

Maybe I'll name my kid "cerulean".

My cousin's middle name is Blue.  Her first name is Luna.  Luna Blue.  Is it sad that I think it's adorable?  Her parents are (or "were" in my uncle's case) total hippies though.

Then there's that one kid of some famous person. Poor kid's name is Moon Unit.

Or maybe it's Moonunit?

Some other famous persons kid is called "audioscience", why would you ever do that to a child?

Yeah, Frank Zappa's Kids are MoonUnit and Dweezle I think, if I remember right. I don't think thats any worse than Kevin Bacon's kid isn't his name Maican? I laughed for awhile over that one even if it was only a hoax...People need to think more before they pick names for their kids. And this topic spins further off into the "blue" no thanks to me  :P

Whose kid is called "Apple" again?
On a side note I met an American a while ago, her name was "Bainne", she proudly informed me that it was an Irish name and if I could translate it for her......I had to make something up, I didnt have the heart to tell her that her parents named her "milk"

I approve of this topic.  It amuses me.

*Googles*

Haha, Fred Durst's daughter's name is Dallas Durst.  That guy is such a douche.  Who let him have kids anyway?

Keith Richards' daughter, Dandelion, had her name legally changed to Angela.  Wonder why?

In addition to Dweeziele and Moon Unit, Frank Zappa has a child named Diva Muffin.  Seriously?!  Isn't there a law or something?

EDIT:  "Milk," haha.  That's my name on the Guitar Hero score board.  'Cause it's easy to enter.

And here I thought I were being original naming my sims Ufo-1, Ufo-2, Cleanerspawn or Peggyhair 53. *snif* I'm dispirited. :(

My sims get weird names like "Accident" and "Serious" and such.  A few catch lucky and get "Romeo", "Clinton".

But one unlucky little cuties name is Thophanes.  My mother made my childhood suck by naming me Tiphanie.  I've spent the past twenty years informing people that YES that is acutally my name and YES it is Tiffany and NO I have no idea what she was smoking.

Though I must say, I'd have to kill her had she named me "moonunit".

O-M-G. LovelyLies, I know you!! :D From somewhere completely unrelated!! I recognized your username but couldn't place it, assumed it was just from a Sims site, but then...you go by Anie, right? :D Or Nanashi Amania?

hahahaha, yes a very long time ago.  As you can see my characters always get shafted in the name department.  Unfortunately Nani got deleted at some point so I have a new little demon on hprpg.  So who are you and how do you know me?  ><

The Nani sim was my favorite EVAR.  But how weird to find you in pirateland.  I'm liking pirate land more and more.

Maybe I'll start naming sims after parts of the body.  "Brain, eye, arm, leg,.... " well you get the point.

I used that habit of seeing something on my desk, and naming it after that...but modifying it. So dice would be Dicela, lighter would be Litra, and so on...now I now I have the rather foolish naming convention of calling newborns the name of the first person of appropriate gender on TV.

edit: Eee, I got jumped! :D Not really that odd to see me here, most of the sims I made of people and sent them were full of pay content, apart from the stuf I made myself...;) Fantastic to see you again. :D
