This is great. 8) Title: Share this petition everywhere! Post by: Lorelei on 2007 May 21, 21:08:57 It would help if the petition did not have six or seven typographical errors.
A (very) quick revision: "EA now recognizes paysites as a problem, but we want them to actually take action against them. Paysites have broken so many rules, bullied so many people, profited off of other people's hard work, even broken laws. They were always protected, and they always covered themselves by saying 'EA is okay with it, so we can do what we want'. Well, EA is NOT okay with it. And it's time for them to do something about it. If you agree that EA should take action against (and/or disallow the existence of) paysites, please sign this petition. Maybe we can make a difference if EA see what their community (and part of their livelihood) thinks." And this is fabulous news...I'm off to spread the word. Cheers! ARR!! Title: Share this petition everywhere! Post by: Anouk on 2007 May 21, 21:10:16 Any change I make has no effect. It doesn't work.
*edit*: fixed! Title: Share this petition everywhere! Post by: MizzKitty on 2007 May 21, 21:14:39 Signed.
Title: Share this petition everywhere! Post by: Ghanima Atreides on 2007 May 21, 21:37:14 Signed as well. I think those comments should be made as public as possible, so that when another paysite owner/person shows up with the excuse that what they're doing is legal, they can be shown the light at the click of a button ;)

Title: Share this petition everywhere! Post by: Broomhilda on 2007 May 21, 22:56:43 Someone told me that nicknames don't count on petitions, so I signed my real name and checked anonymous. If I would have put my nickname Darkangel would know who I am. :P
Title: Share this petition everywhere! Post by: Heinel on 2007 May 21, 23:03:56 I used nickname :/
If nicknames don't work the petition site isn't doing a very good job letting us know :( Title: Share this petition everywhere! Post by: RedSeawench on 2007 May 21, 23:11:22 unlurked--signed

I'm REALLY tempted to post at TSR, saying: Quote Title: Hey, lookie! (or something like that) Messege: I found this: http://www.noukiesims2.net/ I thought it was interesting. It says EA is finally doing something about paysites. and then see what happens.  Should I? Title: Share this petition everywhere! I would have but I got worried about them having all my paypal info and decided against it. If I had never paid for a sub (long time ago), I would be posting it right now. Just to watch them scramble to delete it. LOL Title: Share this petition everywhere! Quote Your "news" from EA With respect to your thread, "Oh lookie! Some interesting news :-)", any such "news" is currently hearsay and rumour. Until such time as EA makes an official announcement about this subject, these rumours are not welcome on the forums. Continued postings about this subject will lead to your account being placed on probation. The Moderation Team :? I'm just neutral on this. I don't want to be jumping to saying 'They're just covering up and being yadda yadda yadda.' Though I don't think deleting the thread was necessary, it might have been nice to hear everyone’s opinion on the subject. Title: Share this petition everywhere! Post by: pixelated on 2007 May 22, 05:35:19 From what I've heard, online petitions are as useless as a cake made of poo. I'll sign it though, just in case.

Cake made of... cardboard? Anyway, concidering the fact that you seem to be able to sign the same petition countless of times without any effort, anyone could just argue that it's not worth anything. Maddox is made of pure win, by the way. <3 Title: Share this petition everywhere! Post by: darkangel on 2007 May 22, 06:13:43 ZOMG OT AGAIN.

I mentioned online petitions in my post! ... oh damn, NOW I was. :( Edit: Oh well, since I already messed up on the WOTA: Quote It would be hard for EA not to notice a couple thousand cakes of poo though. ;) They could be really really small cakes, and wrapped in plastic to contain the smell? Also, if EA had any reason to belive those metaphorical cakes were infact only half (or less) as many as they seem, and just the work of cleverly placed mirrors... they could use that as a reason not to take action. There is no amount of plastic that contains the smell of thousands of cakes of poo - ask Atwa. Title: Share this petition everywhere!
