I was browsing the Google today for some images and ran across a paysite.  It seems to have been around for quite some time, but given the quality of their many recolors, it’s easy to see why they’ve managed to stay off the radar.  The site is Simcrow (http://www.simcrow.com)
The original search lead me to this donation page (http://www.simcrow.com/minilivingroomsets.htm), where they are selling recolors of a Maxis mesh and also appears that they’re selling recolors of Holy Simoloy’s popular (and as we all know, free) Arizona Living set.  A quick browse of the whole page indicates they did give credit, on the updates page.  I think credit works a little better on the page with the actual download, but that could just be me.
They also have Atwa-style recolors.  Enjoy the browsing of ugliness!
It’s a shame their guestbook is down so we can’t bombard them with hate mail.

first thing i notice as soon as the page loads:
the sim woman on front is wearing rosemat's hair from pronupsims (free)
not the worst stuff i have ever came across, but they are again trying to charge for maxis recolors... :roll:


they arent a full out paysite cause i could download a few files from them. but yea, it seems another one is lurking.... :?

Those are some loud, bright colors they have there. NOT WORTHY OF OUR ATTENTION! Pft. Maxis recolors. Bad ones.

Ha! I could probably make over half of their donation items, given some time and effort. Hell, I could probably make better ones. Anyone can.

I knew you guys would enjoy the uglies.  My personal favorite was the "orange" recolors for the bathroom.  Visible from space for a whole 'nother reason.

The light blue one is nice. I like it but not as pay. Its not pay worthy but I would d/l if it was free because I like the colors.

That orange and pink one is an eye sore :( I think it gave me a head ache.

I love how they have the ugly, cheap bathroom set recolored in an ugly, cheap salmon pink...It wouldn't bother me if it was in their free section, but it is in the donation section, so it does bother me.  What kind of moron would pay for that crap?  I hate that cheap maxis bathroom set so much.  In the game, in the catalogue, if I remember correctly, it's default color is that terrible green, it you want it to be white, you have to change it.  I have never seen that in real life.  You'd think that the default color on the toilet would be white.  Wouldn't you?
Sorry for ranting about that toilet, it just makes me mad!  I totally need to get a life...

Why you guys be hating?  These recolors are tewtally the best!  I cleaned out my account to get this stuff!!  Only the best for my simmies!!11111one   :lol:

That bathroom decor just screams.....had it...gone....nope it just screams.

Your entirely reasonable and polite response has been noted, and is appreciated.

Please be aware, however, that asking anyone in the Sims 2 community to pay for anything is likely to continue to go over very poorly. Please reconsider this decision.

Familiarizing yourself with the EULA is a good first step.

Its decent of you to come over here and explain that :] It is much appreciated. You should really read the main page (http://paysites.mustbedestroyed.org/), and reconsider charging for your creations though.
