So does this mean that pay meshes will be allowed to be included like it always happens on the exchange???  Another thing that's funny, is that so many creators in their TOS' say don't upload to the exchange....

I'm just afraid that the quality of MTS2 of uploads are gonna go down now, but i think it's good that someone who's just starting out won't be so scared to submit...

Remember last year they changed the whole site and almost every download to llamas?
I steak my life on it being a joke and will be gone in a day. You can tell by the way he says that creators will embrace the exchange... and the "goodies" from the exchange are complete crap.
And the fact that the Nouk's hair is uploaded as some one else's and they just use a screen shot from MTS for the picture of the hair it proof enough it's a joke.

I have to admit it IS a good joke.  The stuff they listed on the "exchange" is just frighteningly accurate.

April fools has gotta be the only day I check the comments on mts2, just to tally up how many people take it seriously. I love this day.

However, due to increased server and bandwidth costs, a special donation section for members is currently in development. Items will not be charged on a per-download basis, but a set monthly fee will enable access to the section.

The InSIMenator download compatible with the base game and University expansion only will remain in the general area of the site. All later versions will be moved to the donation section.

I think it's hilarious. The sims are just so amusing. They look like downloaded celebs which have been trashed ;P

I don't see why people have a problem with it really. I find it funny and everyone's like "Oh no! I hate this. It's awful!" etc. I love it :D

When i first saw the post with Nouks hair i was like WTF and then it hit me what today was.  I loved reading the comments in that thread. They were very entertaining to say the least.

The worst of these April Fools jokes has to be the edible baby - it just went a bit too far :shock:

I found it hilarious. Probably the best "Great Ideas" download that was offered.

The minute I saw that EatUsAFetus thing, I knew the Hypersensitive Humourless would be up in arms about it and that the joke would be completely ruined with religious, political and "I don't know anything about fine art or art history" posts.

Being prepared for the inevitable did not make dealing with "think of the chilllldrun!!!" posts any easier to deal with. Fer Chrissakes, go to another forum for a few hours if you can't handle a joke about pixels in a game.

It's a bit of a racist / ignorant thing to blindly believe that other cultures are into activities our / Western culture finds horrifying. There have been a number of debunkings of baby eating, including a famous art piece that was actually a picture of someone eating food that was just shaped like a baby, and another art piece that had a staged set of photos featuring baby doll limbs.

I looked up Next Magazine (where this "shocking" and "true" story originated) and came across info about it on Wikipedia (which I will admit is an equally dubious resource). The magazine seems to be a newspaper along the same lines as the Weekly World News or the National Enquirer, i.e. a very poor place to look for factual information.

Talking of baby doll limbs, when I was over in St Malo last week we (me and friends) were in a pub where there were limbs hanging from the ceiling, covering the beer handles, sticking out from the ground, and dolls' heads sitting on things...it was creepy, and made me feel ill.
