Title: Sim Slice Post by: Jaida on 2007 March 03, 22:13:54 This site must be destroyed. He uses debugged code and charges money for what people should be getting for free. It's a catastrophe.
Note to the owner: (http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d37/dbourbois/you_make_kitty_scared.jpg) Because of your horrendous prices. Title: Sim Slice Post by: Jaida on 2007 March 03, 22:18:42 I have an example
(http://sims2.simslice.com/sims2downloads/skins/images/simslice-sims2-skins-bink13y-headless-picbig.jpg) Umm, can't you get the same thing with boolprop? Title: Sim Slice Post by: jesserocket on 2007 March 04, 01:04:43 I shall never know what that is. :(
edit: nevermind, I looked. That's stupid and also shit. Title: Sim Slice Post by: Aquamarine on 2007 March 04, 01:31:43 I liked their hacked objects for the Sims 1, and was sad/angry when they went pay for Sims 2. Once I discovered the booty, I was ecstatic and quickly downloaded as many things as possible from that site.
BAD FUCKING MOVE. That shit gave me nothing but problems of all kinds. It needs to burn. I had to check to see if I had posted this and forgotten, because this is exactly what I would have said. I LOVED Simslice Mach I. I used Simslice stuff all. the. time. It was great. Mach II is crap. I am saddened, and quite annoyed that the site appears to be trying to make a buck off its good rep during Sims 1, but without creating anything truly innovative and amazing for Sims II (yet). ETA: I don't know about making Sims headless with BoolProp, but I do know that MTS2 (I think) had a better headless Sim that did not have a hollow neckhole instead of a stub. Title: Sim Slice Post by: Tchannie on 2007 March 07, 12:43:08  That's pretty terrible. It definitely needs to burn.

I believe there's an invisible option for the sim's head. I know for a fact that you can make them bodyless. Title: Sim Slice Post by: lnichols on 2007 March 11, 19:53:59 Why would anyone want a headless Sim? Y'all are all sickos. :)

Totally Headless Nick? Spooky ghosts? Title: Sad Post by: PsychoSimGirl on 2007 March 26, 21:16:58 Their objects are pretty yucky for TS2 I had the Weather Machine for one day and it screwed up my game. I also had the COL ducks for my ponds before Seasons but I like the Pet Friend Candles.
Title: Sim Slice Post by: JoJo on 2007 April 03, 20:51:05 There's little there worth downloading, even if it is free. There are so many other objects that do what the candles do available free from other more competent and reliable modders.
You're right Lorelei, all simslice has really been doing since it went pay is selling essentially borowed credibility. I hate all TS2 paysites but really the morality (or lack thereof) of what most of them are doing is really a matter of opinion - in the case of simslice it in not a matter of opinion, what they are doing is just wrong. They are knowingfully taking advantage of suckers and the thing is that stupid people really can't help it if they are stupid, so simslice is essentially exploiting the helpless for their own monetary gain and they know it - that's just wrong any way you look at it. Back in the day their TS1 incentive packs used to be guaranteed for quality and dissatisfied customers could get back their money. I see nothing on their site that indicates that they are currently conducting business in such a reputable fashion. Does anyone know of anyone who has actually gotten a refund from simslice? I know would want a refund if I had paid for their stuff because everything I have seen from there is either broken or not as advertised. They need to be destroyed! The destruction of SimSlice should be considered a higher priority than the destruction of other paysites for this reason: There are no legitimate arguments or points that could be made in favor of the idea that Simslice isn't conducting a dishonest business. Title: Sim Slice Post by: Jaida on 2007 April 09, 15:23:32 Amen jojo

We have done what we can do, JoJo. All things from Simslice are now in the booty. So no need for anyone to subscribe there :D Title: Sim Slice Post by: Pescado on 2007 April 09, 20:01:41 Quote from: "lnichols" Why would anyone want a headless Sim?
