Title: HChangeri, rattling my cage once again Post by: Devilfish on 2007 March 01, 23:10:42 Damn that woman is smarmy
http://www.religiosims.com/WhyFree.htm Okay, making money of religion I couldn't handle very well in the first place, I never bought that charity crap to begin with and now this. Concider my cage rattled. Quote yes paysites are very profitable as you can see Goddammit, if that woman's ego was water we'd be looking at a second Flood. Title: HChangeri, rattling my cage once again Post by: SparklePlenty on 2007 March 01, 23:55:01 How could it be profitable if the Pagan set sold the most, and it only sold 2? That's $14.00. Woman is an idiot.
And the only way she would ever be able to be affiliated with the FFFSS would be over my dead and bloody body! Heather? You're a moron. Title: HChangeri, rattling my cage once again Post by: Aquamarine on 2007 March 02, 01:08:19 That flaming pile of shit site is this moron's work too?
LULZ. I believe that her comment was supposed to be sarcastic. Read it next time. However, she did make a mistake by grouping her generally crummy sites with the more popular, mega paysites of TSR, Peggy, Rose, Reflex.. how many more do I need to name? She also failed to realize that the root of the problem isn't how much you make, it's that you have the balls to violate the EULA and charge for things that arn't yours to begin with. Title: HChangeri, rattling my cage once again Post by: Lorelei on 2007 March 03, 04:13:30 My Sims aren't particularly religious. In Sims 1, a small sect formed around the capricious and omnipotent Zencat, who was big on smiting and abuse, but now that Zencat is associated with a paysite, my Sims 2 folk are pretty much Taoists or agnostic. I mean, I HAVE a new Zencat, but haven't actually USED it yet.
*I'm joking, anyway* Religion really has no relevance in my game. Title: HChangeri, rattling my cage once again Post by: Emma on 2007 March 03, 12:56:48 OMG I loved the Zencat :D So many pizza delivery guys, so little time.

There is a Zencat in the booty, but, as noted, I have no idea if it works or if it borks the game or what. You can choose to just pop the statue on a lot and look at it if you're wary, as I am. Mach II [arty treats work similarly to Mach I: mostly negative motive drains, but hilarity can ensue it that's your bag. I'm not into torturing my Sims and having them get slap-happy and Furious and peeing the floor. Title: HChangeri, rattling my cage once again Post by: Emma on 2007 March 05, 00:25:39 I don't think I'll bother with the zencat for Sims 2. I've heard Simslice sucks for TS2
Title: HChangeri, rattling my cage once again Post by: Julialenn on 2007 March 06, 20:44:14 You know, she ought to make some objects honoring The Flying Spaghetti Monster.
Now THERE'S a religion perfect for the Sims! Title: HChangeri, rattling my cage once again Post by: Devilfish on 2007 March 07, 06:15:25 Pastafarian Sims? Now there's an idea! :D
Title: HChangeri, rattling my cage once again Post by: Plum on 2007 March 07, 19:26:07 That would actually be kinda neat.
But don't have her make them. We'd want them to actually be good. Title: HChangeri, rattling my cage once again Post by: Jaida on 2007 March 14, 06:45:15 If I wanted religious stuff I'd get it from the Maxis website. :P It's free and higher quality.

Now that's just desperate!  Title: HChangeri, rattling my cage once again Post by: BlueButterfly on 2007 March 14, 18:16:04 She had charged for religion items? That's a big no-no. Then, of course, isn't this coming from the same person who threw her baby fit when she found out her precious pay items were in the booty?

Title: HChangeri, rattling my cage once again Post by: Tchannie on 2007 March 15, 17:34:43 Butterfly: Yep. "Half of it will go to charity though!"
She says. Title: HChangeri, rattling my cage once again Post by: chlyn on 2007 March 16, 04:07:26 What, the "HChangeri My Nose Is Running I Need Kleenex Charity"?
Title: HChangeri, rattling my cage once again Post by: Diala on 2007 March 16, 04:56:13 Checking that site out, I can hardly believe that she was charging for some of that stuff in the first place. But what pissed me off is the "What do Christians Believe?" (http://www.religiosims.com/Christian/WhatDoXtiansBelieve.htm) page.
Quote - Jehovah's Witnesses claim to be Christians but theologically are not. - Mormons claim to be Christians but theologically are not. - Oneness Pentecostals (UPCI) claim to be Christians but theologically are not. I am neither of these, but still, who is she to claim who is Christian and who isn't? (I know it is quoted from another site, but of ALL the Christian descriptions out there, she chose this close-minded one?) Seriously, if you are trying to get people to pay for your crap, don't PISS OFF THE DAMN CLIENT'S BELIEFS. Title: HChangeri, rattling my cage once again Post by: Tchannie on 2007 March 16, 19:55:40 Mufushu, I'm imagining that may be one of the main reasons only one man and his dog gave her money.
Title: HChangeri, rattling my cage once again Post by: Devilfish on 2007 March 19, 00:18:25 Mufushu, to be fair, it's not her site. Still pisses me of. And what the hell is an hPagan? I spent half my life reserching these things and never once did I encounter an hPagan. I wonder what they think hPagans believe. 'Wand Repair' my bony hairy ass...

If you mean that the site she quoted it from isn't her site, I know. But still, out of ALL the descriptions of Christians out there, she had to choose one that slaps certain denominations in the face. Not very wise. Title: HChangeri, rattling my cage once again Post by: Tchannie on 2007 March 22, 11:11:27 hPagan...um, someone who believes in the religion of Heather...??? hChangeri, hPagan...????
