Regarding Donation
-Firstly, it is the electronic gateway donation utilizing Mypay.net, which can be used by the person residing in Korea only.
It is possible to use the donation item as soon as this donation is made.
-Secondly, it is the donation utilizing Paypal, which can be used by the person possessing Palpal account only.
In this case, the procedure for acceptance is required, and it is possible to use the donation item within 24 hours.

So, basically, Paypal (palpal? hee hee) users have to wait for the site owner to contact them, it sounds like.
And... that's all the information I have. Maybe some of their male hair is pay, too. I'll have to check.

I like some of the things on this site. Not all, mind. Generally, the quality seems somewhat "eh", and the hair colors aren't the greatest. (I'm planning on recoloring the free ones that I like in a few minutes.) But I'm quite a sucker for hair.

Also, is it just me, or does this (http://www.raonsims.com/item/detail.php?num=34&cat1=1&page=1&key=) men's hair remind you of Seomi's (http://seomi.zzo.net) "basic men's cut"? Well, she did say it was fairly common in Korea, which would certainly explain it. *nod*
But the hair I linked is a pay hair, it seems. Heh. So is this (http://www.raonsims.com/item/detail.php?num=36&cat1=1&page=1&key=) other men's cut. I don't know why anyone would pay for that one, though-- those little beads on the side look ridiculous!

yeah it is.....and quite a few of their furniture meshes too....it's sooo annoying, more and more paysites starting up....

I know this is OT but what's happened to all the posts/threads since Jan 22nd?

There was most likely a server rollback, or something along those lines. I had to log in again, when I hadn't cleared my cookies or anything. For a few minutes, the forum seemed to be down for me, so this seems the most likely option.
(And it's marking several posts that I've read as "unread", so there's another piece for that pile.)

I'll edit this post again in a moment, and add on the links to the donation furniture sets. Is that all right? I'm just trying to get all of the relevant information together.

Some of that is nice.
But:
Hair 1 looks an awful like one of Helga's
Hair 2&3 look like a combo of Peggy-Rose
Hair 4 reminds me of TSU

Hmm...and all of those are oriental, so perhaps that's it; they're common over there.
But I do like some of it. I just can't understand it! :wink:

Hair 5 is cute!  I want it.  ^^  It looks much better than Exnem's similar version.

I just saw the site as well after downloading one of those hairs from MTS2. I thought the hairs were free, but after registering realized they were pay. Most of the hairs look like Helga and Peggy hair. Meh.

Oh I like all of their hairs....Maybe Blue will get wind of this and put it in the booty. You do know there is a request thread yes?

i don't like the way her stuff looks. They look poser-ish.
Also her files are large in size.

They kinda remind me of rose's hair. If someone were to recolor them they would look great though

The hair she posted on MTS2 looks a lot like a MYOS hair.  Not sure if Myos is in the same country but she might have had something to do with that site.

Some of their creations are nice, but nothing special. Hairs look really similar to XMSims & Rose.

EDIT: I looked around a bit, there are no prices mentioned anywhere. Weird.

The recolors suck ass.   They look washed out just like XM Sims (great meshes but I get my recolors from MTS2)

The fact that they've got so many similiar hair sets with Peggy is a big turn off. Just shows you how much these creators really work hard on their meshes.

That first hair is a near exact copy of, I think, one of Rose's like someone said. And, eh, her textures are shitty as hell. How can she manage to make them simultaneously shiny and dull? It's uncanny.

I am not a big fan of the hair but I do like most of the objects.  Had to stop myself from paying to join.

Really wanted that sink and table, kitchen mesh set and magazine rack.

They're really... weird hairs.  They uploaded one to MTS2 so I'll have to check it out in-game but the mesh shapes, just from the pictures seem... strange.  Sort of... roughed in, with strangely stark edges and lines.  I'd like to see at least one in-game.  I tend to get suspicious when there are no statements of things like poly counts, and there are next to no pics of the back, nor any with the sims turning their heads (and they're ALL real small), so you can't judge animation at all from their pics.

HP What name is she under at MTS2? I'd really like to check out the hair she put up there.

That's the one she's uploaded.  As much as I like to see more male hair, there's something weird about it that I don't like.  Something over-repeaty and... too stiff about it.  It doesn't look very natural.  Might look better in-game but usually the opposite is true.

I agree with you HP they do look wierd. I think its because she tried to make all the little wave thingies.  It seems so confused.

Yes their hair does look really similar to rose and peggy hairs.
Pretty stupid to expect people to pay for hair that looks almost exactly like another paysite's hair.
People won't pay because a) they already have the peggy and rose hairs so why pay for a copy or b) you don't donate to peggy or rose so why would you donate to this new site if it offers more of the same.
I admit I do like their number 11 hair more than rose's version, but I'll settle for the rose hair that I have already than pay for another.
If it ends up in the booty, I'll trade.
Otherwise, hell no.

I saw the hairs in game, and they aren't BAAAAAD, they are kinda cute in a kiddie, plastic, anime, glued to your head kinda way :P ie no animation...and the colors are better than rose, but still not the greatest.  Damn I should've taken a pic, sorry :P

I can't say their stuff is fugly, I actually like some of the hairs (female hairs n.4 seems cute), but not something I would pay for, anyway.

I want to like the hair. I really do. But the textures are just so... odd. Very odd. And the highlights are unnatural.  However, I've only looked at them in bodyshop since I broke the game again.

Can I hope it's not high-poly lag-a-licious peggy-esque hair?

I downloaded Hair 7 and Hair 11.  Neither are animated, or color binned.  I do like hair 7, it's very simple and the texture doesn't seem to be too bad.  But hair 11 has definite lines between the front texture and back.  Also, on hair 7 (I can't see the hairline on hair 11), there's a "neck gap" along the front hairline.  Not as bad as an actual neck gap, but you can see it.  I haven't actually played it in game, that's what I got from the CAS.  Either way, I wouldn't be charging for it.

Well, that sucks.  Another hair creator who thinks because they can convert Poser meshes too, they have the right to charge for all of their oh-so-fucking hard work.

I don't mind dogging on an object or hairstyle, site that sucks, especially when it is a pay site but I draw the line at making fun of them because they can't spell.  I think it's very assumptious of Americans, or English speaking people in general to think that everyone should be able to spell in a second language.  Translators online do not always work the way you would expect, and you can get some odd results.  This being said, cut them some slack on spelling, it's obvious that English is not their first language.  I myself don't know a second language, just spatterings of others, mainly enough to shop.  I am going to school and taking Spanish this year though,  I'm sure with your feelings of superiority that you speak and write more than one language fluently? If not, shut the hell up.

I'm rather fond of a few of their female hairs but I'm sure the lack of animation would bother me.  Number four I'd have real fun with.  The problem is it reminds me strongly (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v17/lovelylies/jailbaitsrsly.jpg) of a hair I already have.

Well if this was just someone sharing with the community, I'd agree on the language thing, but this twit is trying to make money!  So that makes this a business site, and you should expect a bit of coherency from people you're doing business with.

Besides, "welcom" is just laziness.  No translator would do that, it's not like the word has tons of forms, and a spellcheck would pick up on that in a millisecond.

Uh I speak 5 languages, 6 if you include Swiss German which is my mother language. Then there's German, Dutch, French, English and Spanish.

That said, nothing on the site looking appealing enough to test it in the game. It's all fairly derivative of works already available.

Tinkrfreakinbell not to get on your case or anything but it's not assumptious but presumptuous  And no I'm not being an elitist and jumping on the whole misspelling band wagon. English is my native language and I still make a lot of mistakes.  I teach English to non native speakers so I have an extremely high tolerance to mistakes, unless I'm teaching them (the students not the mistakes).  BUT I give anyone props in attempting to speak any language other than their own, regardless if they are a pay site or not.  Especially us native speakers tend to forget how good we have it that our language is the most used 2nd language in the world, and get pissy when someone isn't 100% perfect at it.  All i can say is get off your fucking high horse and master another language then we'll talk.  Have a nice day :D

If anyone has an issue with speaking english and wants to open up a sims 2 freesite (I draw the line at paysites), I design webpages for a living (I charge 15/hr but I'd give you a $5 discount if you mention PMBD), I can design you a website, I speak english well and in fact am taking English as a minor.

I've seen this site a couple of days ago. It's funny when you see hair that looks like someone else's hair. Ah, Poser. ♥ And the texture is weird judging from those pictures.

I don't care if she makes mistakes in English. It's funny, but it shouldn't be taken as a personal attack (such as laughing at her because she's "stupid"). I don't think it's a problem since you basically just download (if you're a subscriber :roll:) and look at pretty pictures.

Does this site use the same meshes as rose and peggy? or similar but a tiny bit different? Because these are REALLY similar to peggys and roses. (one is similar to Helgas too)

But i do like hair 4, though I wouldn't pay for it.

And with the language thing, I don't mind so much if they have broken english, but if it is a paysite and they're mostly dealing with english (this is what I think) speakers, they should hire somebody or something to correct their errors.

Why the hell are these people buying poser meshes and converting them to sims 2 meshes. They are wasting alot of money to buy a stupid hair, they should just stop being idots and buy poser, make a hair and sell it on a poser site instead of sims 2.

I dont think this site is buying them though. I think this site is probably downloading them from the booty and changing the file name and making a shitty ttexture and saying they made it.

I don't think those are Poser meshes... nor that the habit of Poser conversion is as rampant as it may have been thought.  If one's gonna make hair for TS2, converting Poser meshes is generally not a wise way to do it.  It's more trouble to convert than it's worth - anyone capable of doing a good conversion could probably make their own hair from scratch, and could do it a lot quicker than converting.

Many of the suspected conversions from Peggy/Rose/others are almost assuredly copied from Poser meshes, but actual conversion of the meshes/textures hasn't been proven with either of them - nor do I think Raonjena's are Poser meshes.  Quite frankly, I don't think they look good enough to be Poser conversions.  Sure are high-poly enough to be though.

I also don't think that if someone were going to try to convert a bunch of Poser meshes and then sell the hair for pay (or do it without permission from the original artist) that they would bother actually purchasing them.  Just like everything online, there are pirate sites for those, too.

I don't think they're stolen/retextured from Peggy/Rose either.... though I agree the textures are ucky.
