Evanell Sims just opened on 8-31-2009 & is a site for lots for both TS2 & TS3. They have already put up 2 Lots (TS3 Lots) for donation of a $1.50 each.

A buck fifty is not much but...... Why oh why must we pay for lots we can get elsewhere for free or build our own? :o I think the donation/pay shit for TS3 is getting a lil out of hand. Seems everyone is joining the bandwagon.

They have the cheek to use freesite roof colours and mini lots from Modthesims.

As expected, links to their paysite friends, although they do have links to *a couple of* freesites.

It's really stupid to sell a lot, specially at that price. Plus all their files are hosted on mediafire...?! Bleh :(

That said I found infos on the donation files in the 'Info' tab but haven't managed to find a donation lot? Anyone has a link?

In the links section they are claiming they are affiliates with sites they are certainly not affiliated with!

Their links section doesn't look like it was too well-thought out, either. Some of those sites listed haven't been viable for some time and in fact, have folded, like Aussie Topenders, even though they still have their downloads up. Also, I can't see Tarox being pleased that they are linking to them, considering their stance on paysites being poison.

Well, where is the link to PMBD?  We also think paysites are poison.  Unfair, I say!  I demand Evanell link to us this instant!  I believe the owners are not English speakers, but I'm not sure that explains any of it.

They may not speak English, but they sure understand greed because that transcends any language this old world can throw out, including governmental double speak!

Lurker that I am the Evanell site really twisted my knickers.  I wrote them a stiff little note about the loss of face they would endure in the Sims community, how we share our creations and charging money will just lead to tears before teatime. Also they will fail miserably since similar content is available at a number of other sites completely free. As a prissy old fart I wanted to give them a chance to defend their vile mannerless entry into our society but I suspect a cannon ball over the bows would have a far greater effect. Imagine my delight when I saw their selections in the booty! There is some justice in this mannerless world and I happily will download any and all of their work as they sink slowly in the East. Without this site there would be no justice.

If I ever put my hands on those pixels I'll share them everywhere...

While we certainly appreciate the help, we don't want folks publicly stating what they're going to share.  We protect our sources by keeping them anonymous.  We do have some Evanell houses in the booty already.  That said, anyone who would like to donate something, please PM booty staff. :)

Well, that can happen in real life, but tends to indicate a house originally built by someone other than its present owner, where everything now fits poorly as a result.

Or a house built by drunks, like the one we used to live in.
