Over at Livejournal, there's a bit of a shitfight over Aikea_guinea (the chick who does Deception Pass) and LJdrama abounds! She hates your sims!

LJdrama/sims drama all in one, with special nods to the fact that 99beauty_scars has offered up Tristan and Jacob and co. (before getting nuked) and has copies of all of Aikea_guinea's CC that she only shares with special people such as LyricLee.

aikea_guinea's friend also invaded my journal. ;) if you want to read more unnecessary drama, the first post has 19 comments and eventually there's one by rosewalker. It's called 'Just a few clarifications' or something and is super long. I kind of stepped to the side since I have no stand since I've hardly known any of them for more than a month, but there were some nice replies to it.

I like the stuff she makes, but I lost respect for aikea guinea as a person when she threw a tantrum over someone telling her that her 'back in England' flashback was horribly, woefully historically inaccurate. This person wasn't rude in the least, was correct in what she said, and lavished aikea with praise about the story otherwise, but that wasn't good enough - someone had DARED criticize aikea's precious story.

Which had jumped the shark months before, but anyway.

*I'm* not like that. I could care less who likes my sims. I just have the game because I like to waste time. I admit I'm a little attached to them, but lmao, I don't care if other people like them.

These people should find real friends. By real I mean people offline. Not "omgz you're my best buddy eva!!! (we just met on the internet)". All this drama about one person they haven't even met offline?

lmao. i think i should clear up a few things.

1. i never said i was sane. ;)

2. i do have a life outside of the internet and friends outside of the internet, its when danielle realized i had that, that she decided i wasn't worthy enough of her time.

She spent HOURS talking to me online, sometimes everyday. you see, danielle doesn't have a life outside of the internet. her husband gets up everyday and works while she sits on her ass, and does nothing but play the sims, work on sim CC, and bitch about other people. Back stabbing them, their work, and anything else she can think of. OH and dont let her dare make a post that no one comments on, because "oh noes the whole world is ending." This is also a person who told me, that she felt people should know she was the author of DP when she DID venture out into "the real world". When she realized that i was no longer caring that much about the sims, going to concerts, spending time with my common law husband more than being online, that she started to back stab me, and send me paranoid emails about how i was writing crypic posts about her. when i wasn't writing about her at all.

So if anyone should get a life, its def her. I just made a post to show people and the ones who worship her, just exactly the kind of person they are worshiping.

The tristan download still works, and my first thought was to release him here, but it didn't work out that way.

she tried to get me with the copyright thing, but as we all know you can't copyright a sim made in body shop. they belong to EA and maxis , per the user agreement for body shop. ;) So i just uploaded a new link and reposted it.

What a friend. :roll: So essentially Danielle is the attention seeking drama queen that many thought her to be afterall. I figured so considering how many times she would lament about people using her first hair mesh on their sims or in their livejournal stories.

You guys are crazy nutters, aren't you? It is amazing how something as insignificant as a game can seem so overwhelmingly important sometimes. I think that's an easy trap to fall into though.

I don't know Aikea Guinea personally, so I have no comments to make about her as far as how nice or not she is. One thing that has annoyed me though is the constant "Hey, look at this. Isn't it pretty? WELL YOU CAN'T HAVE IT SO DON'T EVEN ASK!!!" thing.

Wait, what? She put it up on MTS2 where thousands upon thousands of people could download it, and then she lamented that people were doing what they do with downloaded items and using it?

well danielle never thought of the sims as a game, it was more reality for her, and later on she started saying that tristan and co. were simulated people of the voices she hears in her head.

i dont know rather its true or not that she hears voices, she started that with the whole "i'm unstable" thing.

yeah and she would hunt them down and bitch them out, throw temper tantrums about people using the mesh, and then took the download completely off MTS2 giving the reason that "she was unstable".

the meshes on tristan that i uploaded are all the CC meshes that no one was EVER!!111 suppose to have.

For one, Ghanima makes very pretty things. For two, she shares her pretties. For three, she's just awesome. Also, I actually very rarely end up keeping Aikea's things in my game, except maybe the rings and a couple necklaces.

Ahh she's the triple ring girl! I remember, coz that's the only thing of hers I actually have in my game. Which is flashing blue since pets anyway so meh... Now I recall her post about how she's not sharing her sims who are real beings to her or somesuch crap. If you can't make the difference between a game and reality, all I can say is Report to your nearest Psychiatrist.

She's always struck me as pretty strange in her attitude towards her characters...when  you read the stuff about how they existed pre-sims and she has huge notebooks of sketches etc. And the voices in her head are Tristan and so forth, werd.

That not actually all that strange... she sounds like the typical writer. However, the typical writer knows that s/he is not special in this. The worldbuilding, the 'hearing' of the characters, every writer who spends a lot of time on a particular world writing about particular characters gets this. She's conflated 'brain working creatively' with 'sooper speshul spirtual connection'.

Renatus: True, true! Maybe I'm being a bit hard on the strangeness of having the characters, but the way she talks about them IS a bit strange :P

Oh, don't get me wrong; that I don't doubt. That she acts like the sims of her characters are somehow really them and that if they are in the wrong hands this will somehow hurt them is waaaay out there. Even if her characters were real people, sims are avatars of real things at the very most.

I didn't understand your blog, mainly because I don't hang out at LJ.  I've never heard of Akei Guinea-pig or whatever her name is, or Deception Pass.  So, I guess since she doesn't own a paysite (she seems to not want to give out anything, from what I can gather), and she's not run around slamming us...what's the point of this thread?

because i have the things ( sims and other downloads) that she made, that other people want. there was only 4 of us that had her stuff, i was the only one to put it all up for download. so while its not a "pay" thing, it is stuff that people wanted but couldn't have.

again, i didn't post this thread here. i didn't bring my drama here. But i did clear up or have a few things to say since my journal was linked. Unlike danielle, when people talk about me, or link my stuff, i get in on the conversation.

No, but usually drama is kept to the forum or group of forums it relates to.  Like if there was drama here, it would be discussed here, and MATY to MATY, etc.  Livejournal drama which has to do with all LJ stuff would make more sense to be discussed there.

Yeah, still no semblance to any paysite-related topic. Regardless of what you want to believe, we do keep spammy topics relevant to paysites and paysite owners. Aikea what's her face doesn't own any pay content - therefore her stupid drama nonsense is not relevant here.

Only to find out it was for her own personal use so I couldn't have it.

Although in bodyshop it looks like a purple alpha edit of which I'm not too fond.( I wanted the black)
