Poor Bluesoup, she'll never live that down. Bluesoup directed me to the booty and PMBD, therefore, I forgave her a long time ago, no Bluesoup torture from me.  :D

I've got no gripe with BlueSoup, so no torture going on here, either.

Looks like I need to brush up on PMBD history! I believe I have a vague understanding of how she failed us, though. Still, I don't have any beef with bluesoup, since I wasn't around back then to witness the tragic day! Plus I'm not the torturing type! So no torture soup for you!  :P

Whatever she did in the past is in the past.  People can change.  If she does it again though, hell yeah I'll burninate.

Besides that, its a day after my second wedding anniversary.

I'm looking at it as she had a goof and got better, apologized and it's all said and done. Besides, I have other sims to torture that deserve it more richly than she ever could.

I was here when it all hit the fan. She did screw things up, that's the truth. I'm not angry enough any more to torture her. I don't think she actually apologized though.

I'm not going to tell anyone how they should or should not feel about BlueSoup and it's not my place to decide if she should or shouldn't be tortured. But, gesh, she basically decided to throw a snit and destroy this site.  In my book, that's a bit more than a "goof." A goof is when you do something dumb.  What she did strikes me as malicious and childish.  "I'm annoyed at this forum, so I'm going to kill it for everyone!" 

I can't blame Pescado for wanting to torture her Sim self, he and Hecubus and other staff members had to do some scrambling to clean up the mess and he had the worst of it. 

Again, I'm not saying anyone is under any obligation to dislike/hate/be mildly irritated at BlueSoup, no one has the right to tell anyone how to feel, but some of this, "Oh, but she's so awesome!" surprised me.  Yes, she started the forum.  She also tried her best to kill it. 

The only reason why people are even here to go, "Oh, it was just a goof, all is well," is because of Pescado, if she had her way, there would be no forum and no booty. 

Because everything did work out, made it easier to forgive.

I don't blame Pescado for "never forgetting". Like was already said, he had to clean up the mess.

When I say, "goof", I'm downplaying total fucking nuclear-type fuck up. She did state in a thread that she had a melt-down but she was better now. Maybe I was mistaken in taking that as an apology. I was a member when the shit hit the fan and I remember being pissed as all hell. I'm not falling all over myself to kiss her ass, either. I'm just saying that I can go on even while I keep in mind what was done and hoping there is never a chance for it to happen again. Kind of a, "remember what was done, but don't let it sour your own spirit because justice will be done," way of going about it. I'm also hoping that she is never in a position to do something like this again. I may forgive, but I don't forget.

If I had a sim of her, I would torture just for fun. But I hold no malice towards her. I was only a lurker when the whole fiasco of her two deletions. Still gives me a chuckle when I look back and think of how "srs bzniz" sims is. :P

Having been around, in lurker mode under diff name, during that - it *was* horrible, but enough time has passed that my feeling is we have bigger fish to fry.

Look, you people don't get it: It's not about malice, it's about celebration. I imagine most people don't particularly hate Guy Fawkes either, being that no one was around for that, but the point remains that it is a holiday tradition! The point remains that regardless of what you think of BlueSoup, burning stuff and fireworks is AWESOME.

That makes sense and sounds like more fun. Can't wait to see what you come up with this year.  :D

I'd love to give it a try.  Sim torture is most fun.  But, there doesn't seem to be a downloadable BlueSoup anywhere.  If someone could upload one, others could join in the fun.

I killed two Blue Soups today. I have six more to go. I downloaded something special for the job but I couldn't find it in the buy catalog.



Here are a few of my pics from when I set some BlueSoups on fire. I made a whole household of them. They were pretty good looking sims and I thought I might as well dress them well since I'd have to look at them. I was going to do something cool with an object I downloaded but I lost it in the buy catalog, because I'm that cool. I plan on doing more after my first busy school days of the week are over.

I'm going to try to kill one by flies. I was going to have them make babies and fry them and then force them to keep the plates around until they were eaten by the files. I don't know if it would work, but I'll try it if anybody wants to know.

Well, Pescado runs on Malaysian time due to where the servers are housed, so it's one day ahead of us on the USA side of the world.

I won't have time to murder the rest of them until Wednesday.

I have never posted an official apology anywhere, this is true.  I tend to not post *that much* on forums at all anymore, except to try and help.

Two years ago, I fucked up and made a mistake.  I deleted the phorum, because it was overrun with trolls and it was sucking, at least to me.  It was back up within ten minutes, with not too much loss.  I never tried to delete the booty - hell, along with Surelyfunke, I STARTED the booty.  Pescado may [have] host[ed] it, but he did not start it.

I went away for two years and got better in the meantime.  I'm not nearly as reactional now.  And I've said it was wrong in #grah, which is where I talk the most.

But, all that being said, I did soup two years ago and then I fucked your mom.  So ya know, celebrate that and burn in effigy. :P

However, I'm the one that said earlier that if you had your way there would be no forum and no booty and apparently, I was incorrect.  I have a habit of thinking the forum and the booty are tied up into each other and you can't have one without the other.  Sorry, I wasn't trying to accuse you of something you hadn't done.

I only decided to participate in the sim killing because I haven't had an excuse to creatively kill sims for a long time. I wasn't around when the issue happened and I don't have any personal feelings about it.

Right.  I stick by that.  When the phorum first started, it was a cesspool of stupidity.  There was a lot of cool people, but the rest were blathering idiots who would spam up the forum as fast as they could.  I started up a different forum which was also pretty cool, but when I left the Sims community (aka "Souped" :P), I deleted it rather than let Pescado take control of it.


You should see all the people I *don't* call stupid, people who truly deserve it!  Besides, that's MATY, where people expect it. 

As for calling people on trying to mini-mod - hey, I calls it like I see it. There was no need for anyone to get all foul-mouthed and defensive about it.  The thing is, I actually have always quite liked Darqstar, from the BBS to her TSR days to here.  My poking her about being a mini-mod was exactly that - poking her.

Hmmm... I have this feeling that I'm supposed to pretend I don't see this.  But, I always suck at pretending I don't see when people are talking about me. 


Yes, I admit, I used the term, "For Fuck's sake."  Considering some of the other language I've seen on this forum, that's pretty mild.  Please don't make it sound like I went on a screaming rampage, using every swear and worse in every sentence. 

However, I still stick by the idea that the question put in its own thread was stupid.  "Why can't I get to the Sims graveyard?"   Since when are we in charge of the graveyard?  It wasn't about paysites, it wasn't about this site, it was about a site that is not related to us at all.  The question could and should have gone into the "Ask a pirate."  Also, the graveyard was working just fine, the person just didn't have the correct link.  Honest mistake, yes, which is why I didn't cat macro them, or yell, I used the word "might."  It wasn't clear attention whoring, but it was pretty, "I'm too lazy to look around, I'm gonna just make a thread to ask this!"  No, it's not a crime to make new threads, but it is usually frowned upon for new people to come in and make a thread over something that could have easily gone into another thread.

I did not leap on, as many others have, and catmacro the person, nor did I tell them they were an idiot.  What I said was "The next time you might want to put this in Ask a Pirate, thanks."   I did that in part hoping people wouldn't come on and start macro-ing this person to death, or yelling about starting a new thread for a stupid reason.  The same day, I had defended someone for being new and starting a new thread when Nightmare/Sblade tried to call them on that with a link to the FAQ, so it isn't that I was on a godmod trip.   I also didn't get on Mr. Pew's case when he started a thread that was barely legible.  I did "translate" it, but in all honesty, it was hard to read.  But I didn't tell them they were an idiot, or insult them at all.  I even admitted that I used to write like that too. 

I still do not see how using the term "Might" in any way is demanding anything.  "Might" isn't even saying, "You should have."  It's saying "Might."  As in "Maybe next time, if you remember, you might decide to put this in a more appropriate place." 

Then, after my Foul Mouth rant, consisting of the word "fuck" once, maybe twice (I might have tossed in a "Got any other fucking problems?" I don't remember, and I also hadn't screen capped it) you come back about how you had to talk to Pescado about me.  Like it or not, it came across like, "I am BACK this is MY FORUM and I'm in tight with Pescado, so you'd better toe MY line here." 

Then, the thread was erased, before I could respond, which was basically to tell you that I didn't see where "might" was being so cruel and demanding.  I'm actually glad the thread got erased, because it was getting stupid on both of our parts.  The OP wasn't even upset with what I had said. 



I don't really feel like I've gotten the chance to know you to judge for anything.   My opinion before that incident was "I wasn't here when you "souped" so I couldn't hold it against you.  I still do not hold the attempt to burn down the forum against you, again, because I wasn't here except in a minor lurking roll.  I did like your letter that you put on the BBS, and I suggested you snail mail it.  I don't have a hate-on for you, but that "poke" you took did not sit very well with me. 

Like it or not, you can't expect to come back here and be treated exactly like anyone else who was here before, left, and came back. Like it or not, you were the founder of this place and like it or not, you tried to burn it.  Those incidents are going to color everything you do here.   Had you been anyone else that was here before and left, I would have probably poked you back.  But you used to be the boss and you came at me looking like you were the boss again.  What you saw as probably nothing more than a mild poke, I saw as, "I used to run this forum, and I'm BAAAACK!"

But, it's over, it's done and I don't care anymore.  Yes, I'm planning on burning your Sim today, but it's a Sim and it's not personal, it's because I enjoy burning Sims and it's nice to have an excuse to do it.  Usually I'm too kind to my Sims.  As far as I'm concerned, you don't owe me an apology for what you did to the forum, again, because I wasn't here then.  That's something you have to settle with those who were.  And I'm willing to take the other incident between you and me as we both misunderstood where the other was coming from, no harm, no foul. 

Just so anyone watching doesn't think I'm not going to bother to reply, I took it to PM with Darqstar.

We should make effigies of ourselves and burn them too. I think I'll burn a few Ooglafinas.

I have no problem with people burning my Sim in effigy for my souping from booty duties and even for my attempting to burn the phorum down two months before that.


There were a lot of lies spread about me after I souped.  Unfortunately, some will choose to believe them no matter what I say, and others either don't care or believe me when I say the opposite is true.

A couple things before I post mine (Because yes, I went overboard.  I thought this would be a simple idea, but it turned out to be more complicated and involved than I thought)

The pirates picked for this were based on people who have said to have been here when BlueSoup was.   I could only use six pirates in this, as a household only holds eight people.  I tried not to pick anyone who seemed to really be opposed to torturing the BlueSoup sim.  I only picked people who are still somewhat active. 

If most of you pirates notice you don't look anything like you do, or your Sims selves do, that's because you either don't have a Sim self up here, or your Simself is now GONE and cannot be downloaded.  So, I made everyone with the same skin tone and the same hairstyle and randomly picked faces, makeup, and hair color.   I did not try to make anyone deliberately unattractive, but let's be honest, most of the Maxis faces are buttugly, I didn't have much to work with.

None of this should be taken seriously.  I did this all tongue in cheek.  I also may have gotten parts of it wrong, because I wasn't really here for all of this.  No one should ever think of this as a true tale of "what really happened."  I took liberties with things, for the sake of making it work.

Thank you.  I never noticed until after I did the "Saga of the Magic Bed" that now "Icanhazcheezbuger" is allowing people to make lolcats with speech bubbles.  I just got the idea because 1: Old comic book fan, from back when Wolverine was supposed to be a 19 year old kid and his claws were part of his gloves and 2: Sims just seem to suggest comic book styles.  I'm actually surprised more people don't do stories with Sims that way. 

I don't have the time or energy to make screenshots look good and I hang my head in shame. *Hangs head in shame*. Is it just me or are all the girls wearing armywife hair?

With Pescado there with all those women he looks like some kind of Pirate Pimp with a ship full of salty wenches wearing ID t-shirts. The shot where they are all sitting cross legged together made me think of Charles Manson and his girls for some reason. I need to watch more wholesome television.

Print screen.  Honestly, it makes the best pictures.  Print screen, paste them in your favorite paint program (I use PSP7 myself, but many prefer Adobe or Gimp.  Gimp is absolutely free)  The camera in the Sims game is horrible, I never use it. 





Yes, they are.  I've noticed that the Maxis style that hair was based on is the most popular style for women to put on their Self Sim if they don't use custom content.  Oddly, it's a style I rarely see in real life. And usually, if there is an issue they say, "Well, my hair is longer, but this is close..."  Since the Army Wife hair is pretty much that style, longer, I figured it would be perfect and everyone could say, "Yes, that's MY hair!" 



I did think of throwing in at least one other "Guy Pirate," but then decided that I wasn't too sure what a default "Self Sim" would look like for a male as much as I did for a female.  The naming Tshirts were just to identify the characters.  If they wouldn't have been so tiny, I would have had "Hello My Name Is" badges on them. 

My goal with the Pirates was to give a feeling of being somewhat different, but really quite alike.  The only people I had an idea of how they really looked was Paleoanth. 

And, since I brought up "Hello, My Name Is' badges, I was meeting someone for lunch at the Radison the other day.  There was some type of convention happening and I saw a lot of very well dressed men and women wearing those badges.

A woman wearing an expensive business suit walked by and on her "Hello My Name Is" tag  was written, "Left Tit."    I couldn't see if she had one on the right too.  But I had to choke down that laughter pretty quick. 

I thought that print screen would be better but I was too lazy to do more than think about it. I don't usually take pictures in game because I never really have an excuse to spread them around.

I love the "Left Tit" idea. I don't want to do it myself, but maybe I'll try to convince somebody else to do it sometime. I can just see people talking to this women and staring, pretending that they don't notice but still staring...

I think half the humor of the situation was that she was a very polished, very professional looking woman wearing a very expensive business suit and yet she had that on her nametag.  Having once done the whole "professional" circuit once in my life, I could really appreciate that flash of what I'm sure many of her fellow attendies though completely inappropriate behavior.  Yet, they do have a habit of slapping those stickers right on your boobs, or expecting you to put them there yourself. 

 Darqstar,I love the comic strip way of telling storys and you are right, it does suit the sims.



I quite like the fact that everyone has the same hair and t-shirts, after all we are all here for the same reason.

To be honest, my hair used to look like that, but now it's more collar length. My husband saw that comic strip and laughed, he loved it. Of course, he wouldn't have noticed it if I hadn't choked on my Sprite cause I was laughing and trying not to spray... Well done, loved it!

My issue with the TSR comic book is that there might very well be some poking fun of looks.  No, I had not planned to have pages and pages of "Let's insult Atwa's and Thomas's looks"  but for the idea I have, the fact that Anita isn't very easy on the eyes (especially in Sim form) might be mentioned more than once.  Also, it may very well be mentioned that she's insane.  Yes, being a "Comic book" and Sims, things are always a bit exaggerated, but I'm not going to do this if I have to restrict myself to being 100% PC.

I'm not trying to bring up bad times or past issues, but there was quite a lot of whoop and holler over being mean to Atwa and Thomas and a general opinion was that we were no longer supposed to ever point out that we feel Atwa is not very good looking and her and Thomas are both not very stable.   

That whole incident brought on an avalanche of negativity to the site that I would not like to see repeated again and I really don't want to be the cause of it.  The idea isn't good enough to start that bullshit again.  I don't want to publish something that will cause other members to leave this site, because I'm too mean, or to cause this site to lose financial support it needs either.

Good point.  It would be horrible if people left the site or thought all pirates are mean just because someone made a joke they shouldn't have.  Still, there is got to be a way to make a funny comic series without evil jokes.  It doesn't have to be PC either (because PC is total bullshit).  I guess you just have to focus more on the dirtiness of TSR's business than personal attacks on them.  There has got to be a happy medium between everything, although I don't know what it is.  From what i saw in comic strip you posted here, you should be clever enough to figure it out.  ;)

Secondly, you have called Pescado JM.  He may be known as JM on Maty and many of the other sites I have noticed that he haunts, but here he is called simply Pescado.  Thirdly, you have professed your your love for the man (or thing - I have trouble figuring that one out :P )

I think the woman would have some heavy competition from his wife. You remember her? The lady that can kill people with her thumbs in about thirty different ways? I wouldn't chance it even if I were sick enough to have that kind of fascination for him. Life is too precious to waste on getting it choked out of you by someone with his wife's qualities.
