I've noticed that (happily) many of PMBD's trolls tend to be of the hit-and-run variety as well, deelink. However, we also have the occasional sneaky one who joins up, plays nice for awhile, but then goes completely and totally batshit crazy on our asses (waltuO_miS). And let's not forget the pro-paysite troll whose apparent mission is to subvert us from within (nohead, B-cup).

All in all, even if it's not warranted, I'd say our "means" image probably protects us from getting more troll attacks. Hell, the Pescado persona alone is probably enough to keep many of the more squeamish ones at bay.

Actually I don't get the whole PMBD is means thing either. I have yet to witness any evidence of true meaness. Some people are direct if you're being a total fuckwad, but that's normal. I for one appreciate the complete absence of huggles and butterfly kisses because that's just quite frankly, well fucked up. I find people here polite, respectful, intelligent, funny and very welcoming. Ya it's predominately harpies, bitchy homos and bored housewives eating bonbon's but that's cool. Anyone that would find it mean here is obviously living in Malibu Barbie's cave.

That's the thing - those sorts of places usually just don't have obvious bitchery - it's all in the backroom.  They make secrets about - I read it. :D Those places are absolute powder kegs of intrigues and PM fights.  I think PMBD strikes the right balance of not kissy huggy lovey and backstabby, without being downright nasty.

Ya we're special, as a matter of fact I almost got killed today on my bike. It might possibly have been my fault, but still.  It's a shock for people I know but then again it's tame here compared to the Motherland.

Up north, the speed limit on the Parks Hwy. is 65mph, and most everyone I know gets pissed about people doing less than 80 in the summer, 65 in the winter, and if the snow is unplowed and over a foot, 60. And it's just one lane each way (would that be considered a two-lane highway? I can has slight retardation about that stuff).

Oh gosh I can go the speed limit... it's people who go under the speed limit that drive me insane! For instance, there's a road by my apartment who's speed limit is 35. Thirty freaking five! It's waaay to slow for that road, but I digress. Well everyone love to drive 15. Drives me insane. I'm always afraid I'm going to get pulled over on that road because of my insane road rage.

Here in the midwest where I am, the rolling stop is christened the "California Stop." Go figure.

People in Florida: 1) don't bother to stop at stop signs 2) never, ever use blinkers 3) never let anyone in 4) do not understand that green means go and red means stop 5) don't even treat the speed limit as a "helpful suggestion", they go however fast or slow they please 6) cannot drive in a straight line. Pedestrians go out of their way to avoid using the crosswalk -- they much prefer running across 6 lanes of a busy street late at night while wearing dark clothing.

My favorite, though, is that if someone's behind you at a stop sign, yield sign, or red light, they will honk at you incessantly if you refuse to turn directly into oncoming traffic. As in, if you turned when they wanted you to, you would run smack into a Ford Explorer and cause a 5-car pileup. I see at least 2 accidents every day, and I don't drive more than 10 miles each way. It's just splendiferous.

I've driven in Queens, D.C., downtown Detroit, Detroit suburbs, and more, and nothing compares to Tampa. Detroit on Devil's Night is safer than a suburban road around here.

Anyer basically what happened is Zac the cock bag asked how much money do paysites make in one year, and people tried to tolerate it by explaining that's not what we are about. Tomato even tried to converse with the damn thing. But it failed and ended up posting like 5 usless threads and naked pictures of Zac Efron, and claiming he was the hottest thing ever. (Did I mention I don't even think he has hit puberty? How can you think a child is hot?) So someone thought it would be funny, because he would call us "bitches and bungholes" to send him to MATY. He ended up freaking out, and posting a bunch of useless posts. Rohina got pissed, deleted all his posts, and started a motion to punish Hec for "our behavior." So now we are where it stands. Somehow all the trolls posts were deleted. So there's not really any evidence of him being here either, except for what's quoted.

I actually happen to think calalilly is one of the nicest.  Soggyfox, Calalily and Tomato in that order.  Cala can get her hackles up sometimes, especially about spelling and grammar, so I noticed.  And personally, I agree with her.  fcku gramma n speling!

WHAT!?!? Roasted Marshmellows are like a little piece of heaven on earth! They are amazing.

I'm not gonna sing.  But I am feeling some love.  I love roasted marshmallows & s'mores.  I loved Deep Blue Sea, mostly cause I love sharks, and Samuel L. MF Jackson speeches.  And people being eaten by sharks.  Better yet, swallowed whole.

I used to like candy corn - and peeps - but at some point they started tasting extremely artificial - I don't think its the fond memories of being a kid either....its something that seems to have happened in the past 10 years.

I had a chocolate bar that was 90% cocoa for lunch today. Best I've ever had. Coffee, chocolate, fleur de sel caramel, gelato; I like rich flavors that last for a long time after you eat them. Sweet stuff gives me a headache.

As for peeps, ahh, yes. i remember peeps.

My siblings and I would roast them over a barbeque pit so they didnt taste bad, then we'd put them on gramcrackers.
We called it an easter Smore.

Ive never been to America or Canada, so I don't know all of the food stuff from there lol.
I LOVE Hershys, them peanut butter chocolate bar things, Lucky charms(cereal) goobers.
When I lived in Germany, we had an American PX on the camp I lived in, so it sold only american products in $, it was fantastic, I loved it lol.

OMG. My best friend is Azorean and for the first time I went to visit her at home, this Summer. In Azores there are many people who lived long periods of time in the States or in Canada and by the time some of them come back they're so used to American products that they're willing to pay good money for them. Some of them open little shops where they're sold; one of the things they have is peanut butter chocolate, which is not something we're used to see in the shelves of normal stores. I tried it for the first time this Summer... I don't know how I ever lived without it.

Fleur de sel caramel is caramel (obviously), made with Fleur de Sel salt. Hagendaas (or however it's spelled) made some good iced cream out of it, if you can find it at the grocery.

Oh gosh peeps are awesome! As you can see from the picture they are shaped like rabbits or chickens, and are covered in colored sugar. They are so sweet.

Peeps are nasty. I love Cadbury Creme Eggs, though. Godiva dark chocolate's the best, however.

Since everyone here hates peeps how about on easter all of you send me your peeps so I don't go broke buying them eh?

Cadbury Carmel Creme Eggs are soooo good. It's a good thing they aren't readily available all year long. I'd weigh 600 lbs.  :D

Ya I got less lazy and googlized it. I was just curious because I hadn't seen that before and caramel au beurre salé is a very traditional French thing. It's actually a speciality of the region in the north west part of the country called Bretange. I love the candies and the sauce is great on crêpes. You can actually get it here but I always bring some back with me anyway.

Fleur de sel actually comes from the top layer of the salt beds before it sinks and becomes plain ole salt. Also a very old traditional French thing and and from the same region. They do a lot of salt up there, the most famous place being Guérande. I have a bunch here. I don't normally eat salt but it's great on meat, especially steaks so it's basically the only type I use.

They were available year-round in the student book store when I lived in Michigan. They're only here over Easter in Florida, though. It's okay with me, because I eat about 16 of them over 2 weeks and then don't want them for another year. I've never had the caramel kind, they look totally disgusting. I'm not a caramel fan.

Since moving out to San Francisco, there's one candy I CANNOT live without. White Rabbit candies. It's a milk candy wrapped in edible rice paper. They're so delicious and creamy. They're Chinese I think. Basically, anything Asian, I love..foodwise.

Pho, fried bananas with coconut ice cream, sushi, Pocky...and my roommate's mom's home made wontons...Yummmm. I used to be unimpressed by asian food when I lived in the midwest, but since moving out here, I don't think I could live without it. There's a place literally four blocks from my apartment where you can get WONDERFUL sushi for super cheap. Yum.

White Rabbit candies and black jellybeans? You crazy kids... eating stuff that isn't meant to be food. I know the White Rabbit candies well, I once popped one in my mouth after they were given to me as a complimentary gift from a Manga shop in LA (they sent them to me along with my online order), forgetting how incredibly foul they are. After I exorcised it from my jaw, using my kung-fu grip. I vowed, rubbing my tender jaw, never to subject myself to Evil Rabbit Candy Hell, ever again!

As for black jellybeans...Ever seen a liquorice lover eat those things? Because I haven't. They are so nasty, even the Liquorice Queens, you know the foul beasts that eat rope after rope of that vile crap, stop and say "Black Jellybeans? Oh EW, AS-IF! That's not food. It's not even candy."

I adore black jelly beans - the black ropes are pale licorice....but the best is the all-sorts from England.

White Rabbit candies are probably one of the most common Halloween candies that are given out around here (and have been for years and years). I remember as a kid that when we all portioned out our candies in terms of "eatable-ness" they were generally near the middle bottom; for that point when you'd run out of caramels and toffees but not desperate enough to break into the candy corn, marzipan or flavored marshmallow stash :D. Weirdly enough, it wasn't that we didn't like them, but more that every year we would forget that we actually thought that they were tasty.


Yep, they had to be recalled recently due to a tainted milk issue (not the White Rabbit maker's fault; the powered, I think, milk came from a separate company with some dodgy quality standards).

No...it was because there were trace amounts of melamine. There's an instant coffee and another product that were recalled due to tainted milk.

My family used to buy White Rabbit candies all the time. At first they were nice and soft and chewy. I think they must have stopped making them and relied on 40 year old back stock, because the last few times we bought them it was like trying to chew on metal. We finally stopped purchasing them after that.

I really (REALLY) enjoy Andés Candies. Those things are like heaven to me. I always get scolded every year around Christmas time because I steal every last one of those delicious little devils from the candy bowl.

Every year, I piss off at least 10 relatives. I should have learned at age 5 that turkey and chocolate don't go together. But I'm a hard head, so I'll never learn.

Ya know those licorice all-sorts?  I dont like the solid ones, but go for those little ball covered round soft ones.   :P

Traditional candy-wise, I'm a gummi bear and jellybean fanatic. But only certain gummi bears and jellybeans. Haribo gummi bears are heaven and I loooove Jelly Bellys, especially the vanilla, dr pepper, and watermelon flavored ones. The buttered popcorn ones are EVIL, however.

Candy Corn--don't really like it, but if i get started on it can't stop. :o  Bad time of year for chocoholics.  Can't get out of the store without passing rack after rack of the stuff. :-\

Candy corn is awesome! It's my third-favourite Halloween candy, right after Cadbury Creme Eggs and those little square toffee/caramel things that come in brown and dark brown. But this talk of candy corn is making me remember how much I miss Corn Chocolate (http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3086/2560235387_1f2e5e3a4b_o.jpg)! I'd almost put it out of my mind, and now I'm craving it like nobody's business. We brought two big boxes back with us from Hong Kong in February, but they didn't last nearly as long as we wanted them to. (It's all my boyfriend's grandma's fault for getting us addicted to the stuff. I still like her, though. She thinks I'm too skinny!)

Nah - more for the rest of us. :D I don't like USian chocolate - I found it too sickly (same with candy corn).  But I love Cadbury - it's lovely, as well as a cool new brand out here called "Green and Black" - oh it is yummy - it's not your conventional milk chocolate and has extra cocoa in there, and they sell some with spices in it.  I did like Junior Mints when I tried them in the US, and they're available here now in gourmet suppliers - they're very nice. 

I am a sucker for Turkish Delight any which way - I've also made it myself - love the delicate rose flavour (not fake of course - blegh) and I recently tasted some turkish delight with mint essence instead - yum.

About six years ago on a high school field trip we stopped at a classy shopping mall in Calgary for lunch. I wandered off and found a British imports store and ever since have been addicted to a Cadbury bar called a Curly Wurly. It's really stretchy chocolate covered caramel. The only time I can get them is around Christmas. There's a seasonal mall kiosk run by some Scottish people and they sell those and some other really awesome imported candies.

Very bottom of the list. Blegh! ;D

I'm afraid that I'm not terribly fond of Turkish Delight either, Calalily (in fact I hate it; although this is probably at least partially due to having been tricked into taking a bite out of a "Big Turk" bar when I was a kid; Eeergh!). I'm not a big fan of candy much all around actually, I much prefer savory/salty/sour things (although I do like those bizarre perfume/flower-y flavored chewing gums, which are, sadly, usually pretty hard to find; somewhat like chewing on a bar of soap, but I like them anyway :D).

However if anyone gives me any marzipan or Turkish Delight this year you two are free to have it. :P ;)

I liked Parma Violets (just tried them recently) and Lavender flavoured lollies too.  I must say that I love anything with garlic on it, and I mean heaps of garlic, and am a fan of chips and various cheeses - there's an Ash coated Brie from Tasmania that roxxors my soxxors.

I am a bit of a liquorice fan, especially salty/strong liquorice, my favourite is some liqorice flavoured hard candy called "Tyrkisk Peber" (Turkish Pepper), they last a long time and after a while you can crack them with your teeth and there is a strong liqorice powder inside, they're just so yummy :P
I'm also quite fond of Oreo's so whenever a shop has them for sale I stock up.
I used to be a big chocolate eater but lately I've been growing tired of the milkchocolate and have been moving towards the 70% ones.

I adore turkish delight.....but it has to be Frys turkish delight. Parma violets *shudders* My gran won a big tub of those, when we were little uns, and my sister and I ate the lot in a very short space of time - I was violently ill. Parma violet flavoured vomit is enough to put you off for life.

After reading that, and reading about Millie's puke, I actually was put off my orange juice laced rum! Arr!

Turkish Delight? Marzipan? Yeah, I can understand those fetishes. Had some real nice Turkish delight once from a Lebanese restaurant, it was soft and covered with a sugar....that wasn't too sweet. Maybe it was flour or something, I can't recall. All I remember was drinking that hot Turkish coffee and letting a small corner of the delight melt in your mouth and it was heaven.
Marzipan is nice, in small doses. I really can't stand sweets anymore.

If I ever have a craving for something sweet, it's Peters vanilla ice cream for me :) (I am so boring) or chocolate.
But not just any chocolate, no way. It has to be really dark, or Belgian. There are a couple of Chocolate shops around these parts that I have to physically turn my head away if I am walking past. We have the Lindt Cafe for godsake. And millions (okay hyperbole anyone?) of chocolate shops. Tiny rose flavoured, violet flavoured, every kind of flavour (snozzberry?). Rich dark melt-in-your mouth chocolate. Which is more than just a bit of cocoa and shitloads of sugar (like let's say Nestle or Cadbury - sorry Cala, I HATE cadbury, and I'm not a snob, it's seriously too sweet), which I hate.

  The only time I actually enjoy chocolate is during the Halloween season. I really only like those Rolo's then. I can eat tubs of Cookies N Cream ice cream though, which is weird because I hate Oreo's.  :-\ My daughter eats jelly beans and gummy snacks by the load. She loves them, especially the sugar coated gummy worms. Needless to say she only gets those when we take her to a movie or something. She doesn't do sugar very well.  :D

I like Now & Laters. Especially the banana ones. oooh wee! I remember we use to push them down into pickles. That was tasty.

That was the same for me. As a kid, I always wondered what it was, since they made it sound so good - When I came across it at a specialty store back in high school, I immediately grabbed a small package of it. It was a Rose flavored turkish delight candy bar... I took one bite and almost retched. SO SWEET. It was like eating potpourri gel. I was so disillusioned! Why would Edmund do what he did* for THAT stuff... (It does explain why he gets awfully sick afterward though!  :D)

I like turkish delight.  As a candy, its nowhere near as sweet to me as alot of the more modern candies.  And let's face it, back in the early 40s it was likely like asking for a box of snickers or something.

As for chocolates, give me belgian chocolates.  They are the best I've ever had, and according to a belgian friend, the ones they ship are trash compared to what you get there.

You shouldn't have turned your eyes away from the Lindt Cafe - they have 70% cocoa dark chocolate and 85% dark as seen here (http://www.shriro.com.sg/images/Lindt_Excellence_Bar.jpg).  Coolington waxes lyrical about it.  Nothing sweet about that chocolate - except I've found that extreme bitter does morph into sweet if you have a piece.

  I'm not too fond of Turkish Delight (It's also known as soutzouk-loukoum in Greece and Turkey). Somehow whenever I used to go visiting with my nana all of her friends insisted that I ate at least a piece of rose flavoured one. Theoretically it's supposed to make young girls sweet! Fat chance, I'm living proof of the oppposite as my lovely husband can confirm  ;D. If you're into the stuff try Mastic flavoured (can be a bit difficult to find, but I suggest trying out Greek or Turkish delis).

  My personal piece of heaven: Sundried orange slices covered in bitter chocolate. They're quite bitter at first and then you get a chocolaty explosion on your taste buds. Too bad they're considered an easter treat so they're available only a couple of months per year

That sounds devine! The closest I've come to that is when I bake grated orange peel (orange zest??) into my chocolate chip cookies.

You could try baking orange slices (with their peel on) for a couple of minutes until they dry out a bit, and covering them in melted chocolate. But sundried are soo much better. Damn now I can't wait for this year's oranges to rippen. (We never buy imported fruit as we mostly grow our own)

For some reason, I'm a big one for baklava.  Its a kind of sweet lebanese pastry.  Crushed nuts, usually walnuts, wrapped up in filo pastry and soaked in a honey syrup.  That and pavlova.  I rule the sweet toothes :)

I love baklava. There's this little deli near where I work that's run by a Lebanese couple. The wife makes her own baklava and it's amazing. Not to mention they're adorable.

Yeah the Lindt Cafe is pretty damn good. But I can't trust myself to go there more than three times a year, because I do want to maintain this ability to walk and not waddle :P

Anyhoo, Baklava rocks! Homemade is so delicious! Especially with coffee... sweets and coffee....my favorite. Which is probably why I never ask for sugar in my coffee. Overkill :P

I'm not a big fan of chocolate, I don't like chocolate cake, chocolate muffins or even chocolate chip cookies (oatmeal raisin is my favourite). I do like Cadbury and Lindt, though. Creamy, smooth milk chocolate is to die for. I hate dark chocolate, too bitter.

My favourite candy, though, is Popeye Sticks. They are simply white, candy sticks made out of various sugars. They don't have a definite taste, but I love them. Lucky for me they cost only 30 cents and I can find them at most gas stations in the candy isle. :)

They used to have red on one end to emulate cancer-sticks, yeah. They don't anymore. My dad says I'm addicted to Popeye sticks, though. :P

I drink about 10 cups of coffee a day. I loves it dearly - we also have powdered turkish coffee for when we have turkish delight (I'll look for mastic flavour ta Alexia).

I used to drink coffee with sugar, but Coolington secretly weaned me off it and then laughed.

We have those here too LadyDea - they're called Fads.  I also really loved these chocolate cigarettes we had here when I was younger - wrapped in cigarette papers and everything.  They're gone now because of anti-smoking campaigners.

Trust me you won't be thanking me once the kilos start adding up Cala  ;D The mother-in-law is addicted to the stuff. Powdered turkish coffee?! Is it the same as ground (grind-ground isn't it?) turkish cofee? If not you're missing out. Freshly ground turkish coffee oswhat heaven must smell like  :)

We have chocolate cigarettes here (Canada) too, and they are quite yummy. I like 'em even though I'm very anti-smoking. I got them a lot when I was a kid, I just ate them, never even considered or compared them as cigarettes. I just thought it was a pain to get the thin paper off. :P They can be found in most candy stores.

No - it's the same. :D It are lovely - I want to buy a briki though - I've been making do with a small saucepan, but I need MOAR foam.  In fact, I think I'll make some tonight.


It was a pain - but I think it effected the chocolate - it made it drier.  I shall box myself up and send myself there. :D And then I will puff smoke in your face. :P

If you ever find yourself in Greece, Cala ,go to a traditional kafenio (coffee house). They serve turkish coffee (called greek coffee over here b.t.w.  ;) ) which has been prepared in a really tiny briki either on a heated stone or in heated sand. It makes all the difference in the world. Plus it's the bestest  :D coffee in the world. IMHO that is!

Heh, I thought the exact same thing at the time. When I first read the book at 7 or 8, my first thought (having already tried the candy) after reading that bit was, "Turkish Delight? Really? That kid's an idiot". :D


With great to okay coffee, I agree absolutely. On the other hand, for my sketchy work coffee, sugar is an absolute necessity. Foulest substance ever. :P

I've seen greek coffee - you can turn the mostly empty cup over once the liquid is gone and nothing -moves-.

But I'm not much of a coffee drinker - when we'd got to the greek town near Tampa florida, I'd always get a glass of mavrodaphne instead - best wine ever.

As for cookies, agreed on the oatmeal raisin - oatmeal makes the best cookies ever, no matter what extras you add.

And it saddens me that we changed candy ciggies into popeye sticks.  When there are so many other things of more risk to our kids, including the advertising targetted at getting them to turn into fat little type 2 diabetics, we worry more about candy ciggies that are older than most of the crap kids eat regularly, and likely better for them, since sugar is less harmful than all that high fructose corn syrup.

Geez, what does it taste like?

My boss is Greek, and his dad still works from time to time in the shop, I always know when he is having his "coffee time!" because of the rich Greek coffee smell. I've tried it with him various times. It's so fucking strong, I bounce off the walls. Hence why I've "tried it" and don't regularly drink it. It's so dense! Tasty though, but definitely a "sometimes" thing for me :)
Luckily there are many coffee houses around, and my boss brings us coffee all the time :) Since their coffee culture is so strong, the coffee is always HOT, always STRONG and if I don't wrestle the 6 packets off sugar off my boss before he dumps them in there, very sweet....yuuuuuck. I don't understand why he needs to put 6 sugars in there...6 sugahs! I always yelp at him "I want coffee, not some sort of weird coffee candy concoction! Gimme those damn packets! Psycho!"

Yes I call my boss psycho. He calls me a dumbass. It's all good :P

When I worked for a greek he'd add honey instead - which is not only healthier but tasitier too.  Then again, he was also just drinking normal american coffee too.

Personally whenever I have greek coffee I use a 1:1 coffee-sugar ratio. I take all other kinds of coffee black, but greek coffee is so strong that it would make me ill would I drink it black. As to what it tastes like...well it's stronger than espresso and has a fuller (make sense?) taste, part of this is due to the fact that the coffee isn't filtered but rather cooked. It smells like heaven but I wouldn't recommend drinking it later than midday as it can keep you up for the rest of the night. If you're a Terry Pratchett fan think Klatchian Coffee  ;D.

I can't stand my coffee with sugar anymore. The only time I drink it now is at work, but all the rest it has honey in it. It can be a pain relief sometimes too, for sore throats. And I get a lot of migraines so it helps with that, hence why I'm addicted :]
My boyfriend is a coffee lover, so whenever we go to a coffee shop like Costa coffee (a Starbucks-esque coffee shop) he gets an extra shot of coffee, he likes it strong. He's a weirdo though lol

Uh, I'm not sure how to describe it...kind of brine-y with a deep burnt charcoal taste. The one thing it doesn't taste like is coffee. :D

I used to only drink coffee black, but as the years have gone by I will change what additions are made based on the quality. Excellent to great coffee=as is, good to alright coffee will usually have some cream added, poor coffee will have a little more cream added, and for the barely drinkable it's both a load of cream and a load of sugar. I hate the taste of sugar in coffee, but in order to stay awake all day at my job (and not have to spend a mint on buying it at the coffee shops around the office) I live with it.

This is why you should always make your coffee in the morning, and not set it up hours in advance - poor little bat.

I swear, the next time that dear husband of mine takes the Kona coffee beans that I ordered to work, I'm gonna hurt him.

Kona coffee is so good. If I have to drink straight coffee, I drink dark roasts such as Sumatra and Kona...otherwise it's silly, frou frou drinks. I get a triple soy vanilla latte every morning and sound pretentious as hell. I have to get triple or I don't feel the caffiene and soy because I'm lactose intolerant...vanilla cuz it tastes yummy. My boyfriend laughs at me when I get them, then proceeds to order a large americano...(basically 4 shots of espresso and hot water).

I rotate maybe four coffees, mostly because I drink two - four cups of take-out and a couple cups at home every day. Morning is either a large hot coffee with a couple shots of espresso or the same thing iced, afternoon is plain hot or iced. Weather where I live has gotten really cold the past few weeks, so I've found myself ordering more lattes and less iced coffee. We'll see how that goes as the winter starts up.

Typically, tho, I get skim milk and very little to no sugar, no flavoring.

I grew up with a constant pot of coffee, so I drink it all day - I have consecutive days where I don't drink anything else. Stroke waiting to happen, you think? :p

Paden: I bet your husband's co-workers love him! I've worked with people who bring in the good coffee stash from home, and it is amazing!

I'm a bit of a coffee snob from working at a cafe. We get a lot of tourists who wander in and order a cappucino because it sounds fancy and are perturbed when they get their shots of espresso with milk and oodles of foam. We're always explaining that a latte is espresso with steamed milk and little foam and a cappucino is basically the same thing, except with a little steamed milk and a lot of foam. Asking for a latte, no foam is acceptable, but if you ask for a cappucino, no foam, we're going to look at you like you're an idiot.

And I hate Starbucks for naming one of their frou frou chocolate drinks a "macchiato". Because of that, we're always having to ask "Do you want a REAL macchiato or a STARBUCKS macchiato?" (The real one is a shot of espresso with a little bit of foam in a tiny cup).
