A fashion designer? I think she's in the wrong business, unless of course she was going for the Peggy Bundy look. Those aren't even pretty. And most the clothes on her website even in the previews body parts are coming through the clothing. She doesn't even try to hide it.   :shock:

Look at the ribbon on the first dress, it doesn't even look like a ribbon, no separation. It looks like it's part of the dress like it's supposed to be  the bra area. Second dress look at the hem. The borders of the dress. Third outfit look at the holes by the lace, shall I go on? etc....etc...and those are just the obvious things. Never mind the shading or lack of shading in the natural body folds of the body. Over pleating.

Horrible isn't it? And I agree about everything you said. I mean like wtf? she most likely knows she shouldn't seal the stuff, and yet she does. At least make the clothes look good not like rags stitched together and make it seem like its the hottest thing around!

As far as I know, it's not the same Lollipop. The one here uploads to MTS2. (http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=1035503) Not a Peg Bundy outfit in the bunch. In fact, no outfits at all. She does mainly walls and floors. :)

My guess is that she's using some strange font that most of us don't have on our computers. And I don't believe that many will be bothered to find out what font she used and download it.

Y'know, there's nothing wrong with using Helvetica, Arial, Times Roman, or even Courier on a site. And I happen to like Verdana the best. Not fancy, but these older eyeballs of mine can read it better. Even if it's black on red.

EDIT: Re her MySpace page: Egads! Now I need an ear-wash as well as eye bleach, too.

Thanks, Silver - that explains it.  I thought it was Cyrillic at first glance - I need my old eyes examined.

I had exactly one semester of a web design class, and one of the first things we were told was not to fark with the fonts unless they're part of a jpeg or gif image.  Straight text should be any of those you listed, usually Times Roman or Arial (I like Verdana too).  Limited maybe but infinitely legible.

And not gunna show up in WingaDinga.  :lol:

Another was aim for 6 second load time max for 56 kbpblahblahblahs...that's it, I'm going back to school!

The fur outfit is overly bumpmapped and it's looks like plastic. A lot of free creators do that, but at least they're not asking for money. I truly believe I could do a lot better than that, and I'm not a pro.

Ah! Also, she doesn't know how to code her way out of a box, and the stuff looks all MS-Painty. She's a run for Carla Niven's money!

She's actually put the font in Wingding - is she insane?  I thought maybe she made a mistake in her coding, and it ending up as wingding - but she chose that!

I thought I went a little crazy with the black eye makeup. Sheesh! Did she have to put it on all the Sims? What's wrong with neutral tones once in awhile.

The first dress is very...messy. Like she slapped it together in five minutes. The zebra background is also poor choice (besides being a paysite.) Too busy and distracting (for me anyway.)

I stand corrected.  She did indeed code her front page in Wingding! I should have checked the source code, but I guess I gave her the benefit of the doubt, too, and simply thought that she used an "exotic" font.

I was just curious what the hell font she did use - I have about 550 on my PC - so I figured it had to be really obscure if I didn't have it.  Turns out it was one I had after all  :lol:
