I don't think she was ever denying the existence of artists who do create for a living. Nope, I wasn't. My mommy-in-law is one. And despite the fact that most comparisons regarding this and tangible things (bake sales, paints, et cetera) don't really work, people still draw their arguments from them. Hmmm... Maybe it's just me, and I'm being really dense (which is known to happen on occasion), but I fail to see how the comparison doesn't work. I paint and draw for a hobby, you (the theoretical you, not you you) sculpt stuff as a hobby, Joe Schmoe makes Sims2 stuff as a hobby. What right do any of us have to charge money for something that someone could learn how to do for themselves? Especially when that hobby is basically stealing someone else's hard work for their own greedy-ass monetary gain? At what point does a hobby cease being a hobby? When you make money from it - at that point, don't you think it becomes a profession? At what point does this profession become thievery? Well, when you're charging ridiculous prices for A: stolen code and B: something people could learn to do for themselves. (Did that make any sense? I've been out in the 95F sun for the past 3 1/2 hours. My brain may be fried...) Nope, it didn't make sense, too much sun  None of us shouldn't really work at all. There's money enough for us all, to be lazy is healthy. Do you like your mommy-in-law by the way? |

comment only on your last part: I have sold paintings, not all artists
have art as a hobby, they love their work, have exhibitions, they simply do not fit for any other work. Excuse me, this has nothing to do with
the socalled artists who sell CC belonging to a company.

Why do we care?
Seriously...except for running a large, used-to-be-good site and being wise enough to fire LyricLee...what real influence does he have? He lost his best creators because of his practices, and he clearly doesn't care much for the community if he can try to pull scams, cause problems for creators, and not support the anti-paysite effort.
Delphy is QUICKLY becoming irrelevant. We're only KEEPING him relevant with 7-page threads about him.
And his sexual escapades are boring. Now if he was a bit more original, like OpenAssJack.... I think this thread is horrible. This site is beeing discussed on Sims2community, not in a bad way. Things are changing. Very little smart to start a thread like this on a forum against paysites. I will recommend to delete it. And i am not a fan or groupie of anyone. |

I meant the icons on the forum, the ones we use to show emotions. I have theseemotions against paysites ---> :evil: Don't take me too seriously please, not everyone understand my humor. and Hey, Pescado is here. I've seen his name mentioned a lot of times, honored to meet him at last.  I do not know Delphy enough, but i have got an impression of him, he is protecting paysites. But one shall be careful to accuse someone for stuff i've read in this thread.  |

If there's evidence that it's true, it needs to get out then. It's not fair to work up sympathy without evidence. Delphy has done things in the past to raise suspicion, but to attack him this way based on annonymous, unsubstantiated rumors is wrong. Well, I was in MtS2 irc chat for a very long time. I do know that he did give out a webcam to at least one girl. He was known for asking for panty pictures often (with the girl in them, heh) in "social", the general chatroom. It was also common practice by pretty much everyone else in the chat to ask for boob shots, even moobs. Godddammit! Why don't yu have a big icon with ROFL; LMAO or something? I have a terrible sense of humor, i know. PS. i am not laughing of you redisenchanted. But the whole situation. |

You'll soon meet our fearless leader, the one, the only, Pescado! I suspect, if you have suggestions on the legal section, he'd be at least willing to listen. He will make fun of you and probably stomp on your head while he does, but that's just his way of saying 'hi'.

LOL! Damm, hmm, i would love to show off some of my models, but i think i have to be more careful and anonym on this forum. Or do i have too be that, can a paysite close my account if they find out i am feeding the booty? Of course they can, have any of you any experiecene with that? |

I don't know if it's just me, but how has this topic stayed around for so long? Also, 90 pages? You're all a bunch of stalkers.  Probably because this is a forum against paysites. One do not need a very high IQ to understand that, or do you?? over to topic: This was sad reading really. I had no clue about Carla Niven before i saw the topic here, i know about a guy, maybe a female who have a model called Eliana - in some contests on sims2community.com His nick is (((PANdRitO))) I think that the mainmodel for this year is made by that person. I don't find she that much badlooking, not more pretty than other or not more weird. Poor person. *sigh* |
