PSSST get the milkshape crack from a torrent. It doesn't matter if it's an older version. Install the cracked one first, then install the newer version over top of it in the same directory. Check the comments on torrents. If it has a bunch of comments saying it's okay and not a bunch of people screaming about it being a trojan than it should be safe but scan it anyway!

I don't know that there's a good program to do poly counts outside of Milkshape. CTU really should be looking at the correct LOD, not the lowest level one, that only gets used when you are way zoomed out.

Meh, I don't know. I've been reluctant to mess with meshing because I don't know Mikshape's controls well and also because Inge and Peter's S3PE is a hell of a lot less user friendly than Quaxi's and it seems like every time I try to do something with it shit goes wrong and doesn't work like it's supposed to, but maybe I am being an impatient tight pants tard.

I could try I guess. It annoys me enough that he did that that I almost want to fix the damned thing.   I just know it will turn into a huge headache though.

Well a number of people, as people in this community get when they see something they don't have, got in an uproar over this mysterious bun hair that surfaced in photos of Modern_Sims stuff on TSR. Several people in the various comments pleaded to know what it was and where it came from but to no avail, then lamented that it was being kept a secret from them.

Paysites don't exist there because the community absolutely under no circumstances will tolerate it. Whenever someone attempted something even remotely resembling a pay mod they got a new asshole ripped a hundred times over and run of the board on a rail, so to speak.

Such behavior may displease the BBS/N99/MTS (and obviously TSR) crowd but you know what? It was effective. Their community doesn't have pay sites and ours does. Even a modder who was pay in the Sims community didn't dare attempt it when he modded for Elder Scrolls. Now that tells you something right there. It exists because the community allows it to exist by playing nice and taking the high road.

The thing is, they don't care if you take the high road. They really don't. They're still laughing all the way to the bank. All it is some public face and reputation preserving thing so that you look good in the eyes of other people. I personally don't care about that. I'm going to say what I think and people can feel however they want about that.

I think the latter. It didn't sound like she had any intention of ever releasing it. Really, when has Peggy ever been useful or supportive to the rest of the Sims community? Oh though it pains me to say this but even TSR makes some pretense of being supportive and useful to the community. Peggy doesn't even bother.

Feh, I've had enough run ins with Delphy from the TS2 days to know he is not all high road. He does play the PR game well though and seems to want to try to be all things to all people as much as he can, at least publicly.

Personally I have no tolerance for such things and if that means I take the low road then oh well.

Funny thing is, I heard through the grapevine (ie someone who worked on the show) that Hudson Leick really was a crazy assed bitch. Her antics made them not want to bring her back, but the character was really popular so they did anyway. Eventually, so the story goes, she ended up punching Lucy Lawless and then at that point she wasn't welcome back anymore. Or so the story goes. This is second hand info.

I really like the wedge chairs but I don't play TS2 at all and have no intention to reinstall it.

I tried to make a pudding wedge and failed miserably. I used Inge's cloning tool and Wes's other new mesh tool thingy. Meh, I will wait for the tools to get more robust and user friendly and or someone else to do it. I am sure I could figure it out if I tried hard enough and pulled enough hairs out of my head and screamed at my computer enough but really not in the mood.

MTS treats everyone with kid gloves. That is how they are. Personally I think they should have let everyone rip Chaz a new asshole instead of trying to play Ghandi all the god damned time. TSR sure doesn't.
