Did you do those lovely comic drawings up there?   They're just gorgeous!   I use a lot of my comic skills in my Sims skinning myself.  It ends up with more cartoony looking Sims rather than super-realistic fashion ones, but I kinda like the personality I can precisely bring to a Sim.  I also like making my comic characters in the game!  Sadly, I will never be able to make BirdMartiaN.  He's a thoroughly unhuman looking alien!

Well, don't feel too n00by.   I find brushes are good for laying down the first few layers of colour to give it depth, but after that going in with a fine single brush is essential to get a proper random hairy look.  If you leave it with the brush it looks sort of painted on.

Tell me - how the heck do you get your Sims to pose like that?  I've been going through seven levels of hell trying to get mine into an interesting position!

When I was a wee mite fresh from my mam's canal, I looked really effing weird.  First of all, I was a face presentation.  The doctor had some weird idea I was a breech birth, and he stuck his hand in and said, "Yes, I've found the anus!"

No.  It wasn't my anus, you tool, it was MY EYE.  So when I came out I had a black eye.  See, this is what happens when someone *does* punch a baby.  Years of therapy!

Then I got the german measles and a blister on my nipple (separate from the measles) that scarred it for life.  For all that, I think I turned out all right.  

No.  Ma'at was the Goddess in charge of justice and the fundamental law of the universe.  As a result, Pharaoh's liked to call themselves the "Beloved of Ma'at".  It was her feather that the heart was weighed against.  If heavier, the guilty were fed to Ammit, The Devourer, who consumed the souls of the dead.  Once eaten by him, the person has no hope of further existence.  It is total annihilation of the person.

Ammit had the hindquarters of a hippopotamus, the front legs and torso of a leopard and the head of a crocodile.  

Whether anyone deserves that sort of end - *shrugs*.

Let's change that to "Wannabe-Egyptian" shall we?  Since if you ever saw real Egyptian stuff, not only does it NOT involve black and gold monstrosities, but they don't decorate their houses in flood-fill faun.   I'm a huge nut for Egyptian stuff and I hate Atwat's stuff with a passion.  Egyptians have scads of style and taste.

I agree!  She's got a lovely face and she's refreshingly sweet looking.  Good job on her!

I've just made two Sims based on the classic Greek sculptures.  I should share.  I've called them Artemis and Apollo.  

It is one of the first sites people get to when looking for custom content.  I wish I'd never subscribed (it was a couple of years ago now, I have no excuse other than not really thinking about it and not knowing about this place).  I wish I'd never spent that money now - I need it!    I know better these days.

Oh God!  I'm really fucking sorry!  I'll sort my shit out and make sure I don't cuss you fuckers out again.  I'm such a silly cunt!

I have what I am calling TSR rage.  It's the rage one feels when fishing through the pile of shit that is TSR's badly organised database of CC for a mesh you don't remember the name of, or even who did it, that you lost two installations ago because of your forgetfulness.  

I could smack NeptuneSuzy.  Chaz's designs literally look like excrement piled on top of someone's head.  I want to throttle Sunair's insipid little Sims with the vacant soul-dead expressions of Sims forced to wear utter shite on their heads.  And if I see another pointless flat-coloured Maxis-meshed hair package up I will KICK A BABY IN THE PUPPY-GLANDS!

I didn't end up finding my mesh or hair.  Which means my Jem and the Holograms sims aren't going to look *quite* as awesome as I'd hoped.  Fuck it all!  (Am I allowed to swear here?)
