They say this is about raising awareness, but from all the hooplah that was talked about with the bugs the Creators' Camp folks talked about, my guess is that they've got some nasty issues to deal with.

We know EA's not that great about being honest about their product, so my "speculation" is that they're giving the excuse of raising awareness when there's probably more bug issues that would make their customers quite upset if they released this month.

But it's still so funny to see folks whine and cry and say they'd rather have a buggy game NOW than wait until June. These are the same folks that whine about bugs not being patched quickly when they get a new EP. EA can't win with that crowd! Hilarious.

Blah. EA's trying to find new customers. They've already figured out that their current customers are giving them the finger. They're hoping all this lawsuit/ingame ads/suckrom/**insert applicable EA complaint here** will blow over so more people feel comfortable giving their greedy asses money for a suck game. Even so, the suicide threats on the BBS are pretty funny. I'm glad I'm not that busy at work today.

The suicide threats are a bit ridiculous, but I really can't blame people for being upset.  If they preordered the game, that means it's what, four more months or so that EA gets to sit on their money without giving them a damned thing.

On EA's investor's site they have the press release stating info on their meeting, and one of the things is that several of their game to be released in fiscal year '09, have now been moved to fiscal year'10. And that is making the people who don't know what a fiscal year is go crazy.

It comes out the day before my birthday - NOT that I was going to ask anyone to buy it for me. Getting SecuROM like that would be like someone giving you VD for Christmas.
