I'd like to thank all the pirates for all of their hard work, time, effort, into making all of this possible and the risks they take. Also, for the information they collect (my main reason for coming here day after day.) I especially enjoy the sense of humor they provide as well.

Thanks Snarky. We're all ok now. *phew* No tornadoes, but the flooding.  Thankfully, it didn't reach the house. However, I seem to have a plague of little frogs every where.  Cute little buggers though. 

Back on topic though, yes, I think Aikea and Gelydhs' site is put together very well. Part of me wonders if TSR will go free, but accept voluntary donations (like MTS2 and InSim.) I think if TSR ever did that, then maybe my hatred of that site will subside...just a little.

This is great. I hope more TSR artists (and subscribers,) see the light as Aikea and Gelydh have.

This is better than Mother Nature getting ready to bitchslap this backwards town (and me,) with a tornado.

This makes me a happy panda since I like their styles, but did without because of the whole TSR/paysite crap.

I will not download from them yet. I want to see if they remain free and go completely free with everything. Since they still have pay items up, I have a personal policy of never downloading anything from a pay creator no matter how bad I want something. I am picky like that.

If the Twat had been a much nicer person, treated people with a bit of respect, and actually did something helpful and good for this community (besides making us laugh with her horrid recolors,) then, maybe, somewhere in my little black heart, I'd feel an ounce sorry for her. She does and will not ever, get my sympathies. She does and will not ever, get my respect. She has shown what kind of person she is time and time again.

My curiosity for the morbid was cured a long time ago when I watched someone, that I knew, blow their face off with a shotgun.

I was about 10/11 years old. I was going to the corner store to get something (I still don't remember what I was supposed to buy,) when I saw his truck pull up on the curb, in front of the bar, across the street. Before I could think, "Oh hey, there's Georgie," he made eye contact with me and kinda smiled weird. Then, his driver side window just shattered. There was blood and gore everywhere. A cop ran up (they had been following him in a slow chase to arrest him for drugs,) opened the door and he slumped out onto the street. I remember his face was just...gone. I stood there for what seemed like a long time, just too stunned to move, staring at where his face used to be. A cop came up in front of me and put his hands on my shoulders. I remember asking him, "Georgie's dead?" I remember him saying something like, "Yes. You see? This is where drugs gets you. Now, why don't you go home."

It took me a long time to get that sight out of my mind. It was also enough to keep me away from drugs. After my surgeries, I was scared to even take the painkillers, wondering if I'd get addicted to them and end up like Georgie.

Dietofworms, do you mean the the solid rocket boosters (SRB,) that detach from the big orange external tank? (Always wanted to be an astronaut, but could never pass physicals.)
