It's always the outspoken ones huh? All I can say is I am soooo glad we did not give them the reaction that they so desperately wanted. We quietly worked behind closed doors, and thankfully a member discovered something that helped to lead us to an answer. It must have worked too because if that's all they caught, then surely they must realized they have FAILED. SoggyFox - I hope someone is. Maybe we should ask Ferris, her name is all over that thread. |

I read over at Sim_Wank that someone is calling EA about this, and calling paypal. TSR is probably going to get their asses handed to them. |

I don't know about that, EA already has enough problems dealing with a class action suit. They might not want to be connected to anything else that can be construed as illegal or immoral, at this point in time. The timing for this to completely come out, might be perfect timing indeed. EA may actually want to distance themselves from this. Just a thought, I figured I would put out there. |

I would think that EA would be, at the very least, a little concerned that a site they've had such a cozy relationship with is passing around the private information of some of it's members. But then again, it is EA and (as noted in coconut's blistering commentary) stupid does attract stupid.

They can and will ignore it though. When this whole crap started with 'tracking' and perhaps spyware in the payfiles we at the SFV contacted EA, giving them the information we knew at the time and their basic response was that TSR was not affiliated nor endorsed with EA (You know even though EA invites them to fan events and there is mutual adverting between the two), and thereby EA is not going to be bothered policing fansites.
I am not saying don't try for it, I am just saying don't expect much. You'll get a response from someone who acts all concerned, but absolutely nothing will come of it, like nothing ever does with EA.

Simtomatic went over to Natural Sims, declaring FREE and then jumped back onto TSR's ship. I don't know the full story, but Dina may have more information.
Simtomatic uses Nouk's hair on her avi over at TSR (well what I can gather from the FA posts that coconut put up) and for some reason, I have this urge to yank it off.
