That is an image forever imprinted in my brain.

Gah.

Personally I thought it was meant to be a symbol, like the cross, star of David, half-moon etc that stand in front of the other religion categories, though I've never heard of h as a symbol for Paganism and now that Tchan mentioned it, it does make sense... Tongue

Np. I remember his name from a WCIF on S2C...they're basically maxis skins with adult details...I had something similar from ParadiseSims before I discovered the wonderful world of MTS... Cool

Maybe I deserve to get shot then, because I loathe Enayla's skins. Possibly even more than I loathe Jirka's sims. I also loathe Ren's skintones. I dunno why. I swear by Allan Akbar.

:?: Just wondering - so whos skins do you like?

She's answered it already

Allan Akbar's skins are cool for people into maxis like genetics. They usually dislike realistic skins. Which is ok; fortunately both exist.

I really hope that she doesn't start submitting there exclusively. I bet Thomas is just creaming over this though, and I bet you anything that he's offering her the world, if she were to become an FA.

I am almost certain he is. I know he's done this before and I must say he can be VERY persuasive, and generous with his offers when he really wants someone.
I hope Enayla rises above the temptation of some money from a game; she is a real artist who I assume makes a living at least partially off her art. I'd be very bummed if she became FA, I use her skins (the non fantasy one mostly) almost exclusively.

The newer ones are edited for all ages, mostly because people whined and whined.lol I didn't keep the old files for precisely that reason; I can't stand skintones which aren't made for all ages, or only for males/females, like SOME creators like to do. (to me they're only halfway done then, and there are enough quality ones around not to settle for unfinished products) because apart from my site models I actually play my sims.
About the skintones, some look very odd on males and younger ages, but some are quite pretty; I use them at times. However, Enayla's are still the best out there, IMO.
38  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Alms for the colourblind & SimPE colourbinning question on: 2007 March 16, 23:17:12

Pinks in the red bin I hate the most. Being a redhead, I hate how my hair, the particular shade of my hair, is NEVER simmed...my hair isn't THAT ginger, and it DEFINITELY isn't fauxpink! Sometimes it isn't even pink; it's salmon-coloured...

I agree. As a redhead myself, I am so annoyed how there never is a truly natural red colour made...or very very rarely and definitely NOT found on sites like Peggy, XM, etc. I would settle for a maxis-y shade or something a little darker (or lighter) too but puhleeease, stop with the bloodreds, pinks, purples, freaking rainbow polka dotted shades in the red bin! They're fine as custom but they should never, ever be in the genetic category! Needless to say, I recolor most new hairs I get and re-bin.

I voted for gaps, but mostly everything on that list annoys me just as much, but also the one million shades of every colour (I really don't care to load my game with 5 shades of the same colour when I'm only gonna use one, and deleting them is a pain), and, of course the nicest blonds being binned as browns (of which XM sims and Raonsims are most guilty, so I always end up re-binning XM's Fawn shade into blonde).

Also, binning your hairs. I like a lot of Raonsims' hairs and I went on a bit of a download spree only to discover none of them were binned. Thankfully I had each set in a separate folder so I could do it myself; but it's just lazyness on their part. It really is very easy to do it, just takes time.

39  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Fun New Paysite... on: 2007 February 17, 14:56:17
Pay for families that came WITH THE GAME??

Wahhahahhaha!!

It's either an extremely stupid person who hopes in vain to make money like the big paysites or a very young kid hoping the same thing. or both. Carla Niven stuff is good by comparison...and that's bad. Very bad.  Tongue

I got a warning on S2C the other day though, for telling WillStefan he had sold out.     Ghanima and someone else there also said something, and I just have to wonder if they also got warnings, or if the moderator of that section just has it in for me (because I've heard of something else she said about me).

Yep, I was the one who added something and I got a warning for it as well  Tongue  for flaming no less! And I was pretty polite about it too, no name calling, just said that "we all know pay artists get more respect than free ones too, now don't we, and the shiny mini-site and cash never hurt either". Ah well. It is still my opinion and I had been waiting a LOONG time to say what I really thought about that guy. For the longest time I had been half certain I was too judgmental..but not anymore XD But, well, whatever makes him happy. I never used his stuff in my game though it looked nice in previews; I have no interest for celebs OR his barbie skins Tongue
41  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / And again.. new paysite. on: 2007 February 02, 20:17:17
Personally I think it's average; it's not fugly, not Carla Niven fugly for example, or texture filled (the two are almost synonyms XD), but it's so common it actually makes it worse.
42  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / And again.. new paysite. on: 2007 February 02, 19:54:20
Same old Abercrombie shit...which is available on a million free sites including MTS. I mean, what's the point, in opening a paysite that offers the same stuff others have for free? I'd think they'd be out of business real quick but apparently there are some uninformed (or just dumb) who pay for it...but still...I doubt she'll be making a profit regardless. Wink Her stuff is THE most easily found style out there.

I agree entirely on the downloading meshes thing. The problem is that so many people are raging assholes about who can put their meshes where that creators have to jump through hoops to use the mesh. It blows.

It was that very experience that prompted me to ammend my TOS and allow people to include my meshes (few as they are) with their stuff...I'm more of a texturer than a mesher and it's always such a pain tracking down sites, pages, links, especially with iframed pages etc...
44  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Sshodan on: 2007 January 05, 11:25:09
Haha that's exactly how I play her too Cheesy Her laziness and lack of neatness as well as those impossible tight pants she starts out in (well, for Maxis anyway) certainly point in that direction. Not to mention her trailer, err house. I know lots of people turn her in this classy lady (and to be honest she's one of the prettier Maxis sims) but I like keeping the Brokes at the, uh, bottom of the greaspole.
45  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Carla Niven must be destroyed! on: 2007 January 04, 19:35:17
Problem is, the only thing that's holding them up there is curved tin foil    Not much support there, but they retain their perfect round shape nonetheless! Carla has such an eye for realism Wink
