ooo Sigmund, I'm always on the lookout for maxis-match type things. *runs off to nab*.

I really like the look of this new bay window by Leesester. especially as it's extendable!

What is that?  Huh[/b]    (it's from Rosesims)

erm, I think the caption makes it pretty obvious. They're goggles! Yep, definately used toilet roll googles.

You know, so now we can act out Samson Agonistes in game! Lucky us. I eagerly await a Simterpretation cropping up on the exchange any minute now.

My favourite thing about that picture is the fact that Despite the fact her eyes have apparently been stabbed out the model is still wearing perfect lipstick. You'd think someone who'd recently suffered such a violent mutilation would be a little more, you know, unkempt. Apparently not.

I only really like black underwear. Sexiest and nicest color for undies in my opinion.
Aha, a pirate after my own heart. I will wear any colour underwear, as long as it's black. I do have some paler bras for wearing under light tops but I much prefer black: sexier and easy to tell apart from my flatmates' garish collections.

I'm a large woman, but I do wear thongs - but for comfort.  I also wear long pants and teeshirts, but rarely bras - again for comfort.

I just prefer to be comfortable, and don't worry about what people -think- about how I dress.

Hmm, I'm the exact opposite, thong-wise. I find them really uncomfortable. I haven't warn one since I was about 15 and decided that having a permament wedgie was not very sexy, actually. Granny pants ftw! Plus, if it works for Bridget Jones, eh it's good enough for me.

Oh god, my Geek Points are accumulating immensly lately. I never watched it on the BBC, they edited it too much and it annoyed me, muchly prefer the DVD's anyway, no breaks, can watch what I want when I want lol.
Eh? Breaks on the BBC? But the Beeb doesn't have ad breaks... Also, I agree with you on Angel. I'm not a massive fan of beefcakes either. David Boreanaz is pretty easy on the eye though. I always prefered Xander though. Geeks ftw!

Dollhouse looks good. But it starts in Feb in the US right? (I'm guessing you're from the US as you've put the date the wrong way round Tongue) I don't think a UK broadcaster has bought the rights yet. I could be wrong though. I do have one teeny reservation with Dollhouse though: Dichen Lachman. I couldn't stand her on Neighbours, but I suppose I'll give her the benefit of the doubt: she couldn't really help how annoying her character was, and hopefully she's learnt to act since then.

Demons is on tonight at 7.45 on ITV. I just checked ITV and apparently they list it as a 'cult' program. Oh the lulz! I can't decide whether to watch it or not. It was pretty entertaining, in a cringe sort of way.

I have the single DVD version of the musical episode as well. We can be geeks together! I think my problem with Buffy is that I stopped watching it for a while, and when I went back to it, everything had changed, which is something I really don't like so I railed against it instinctively. For me, it was never the same as back when it was on BBC 2 in the early evening, after Superman if I remember correctly. *loses herself in nostalgia for a moment*.

As for Angel, I could never really get into that, but then I never really liked Angel in Buffy much. I think Spike is a much more interesting character. Also, Joyce was Buffy's mum right? If so then I can remember that episode, and yeah it was really heart wrenching. Mucho kudos to Whedon, there's so much dross on TV these days that a truly moving show  is something to treasure.

Actually, all this Buffy talk has reminded me, ITV has just begun a new series, called Demons. It's got some great actors in it, but honestly, it would make any Buffy fan weep.  It's got a very similar premise: teenager finds out he's a Van Helsing and must battle evil  critters under guidance of his mentor (aka Philip Glenister with an appalling and unnecessary 'American' accent). But it seems to lack Buffy's charm, or at least it did in the first episode. Oh dear.

oo me likes that house. I'm envious of your landscaping skills. All my sims have nice big, low maintenance lawns because I can't landscape well to save my life.

Also, all this talk of Buffy has made me nostalgic for my yoof. I used to be a Buffy fan, but I went off the show after they left highschool. I just got tired of all that silly 'oh look I came back from the dead and now I have Edge' nonsense (I'm sure you'll disagree heartily with me TapThat). Also, by that point the show was severely lacking in Seth Green. I need MOAR Seth Greenz! Having said that, I do own a copy of the Buffy musical, but that's more because I'm a musical freak and it's lulzy.
Oh, and I almost forgot, we're forgetting the best thing Whedon ever worked on (again, reckon you might disagree here TapThatBooty!)... Toy Story! To Infinity and Beyond!

I read an article the other day about carbohydrates so I thought I'd mention it here. I heard it on the news, but here's a link to the story: http://www.newsguardian.co.uk/nhshealth/Lowcarb-diets-and-memory.4795899.jp

Of course, a study of just 19 people can hardly be deemed the be-all-and-end-all of scientific fact-finding, but maybe someone here will find it interesting.

As for eating wierd things, the wierdest stuff I've eaten are crocodile, impala, warthog (I know it's basically the same as eating pork, but come on, it's Pumba!) frogs legs and snails. My mother in particular loves frog legs. Wierdo. Oh also, on a vegetarian note, my mum once served up seaweed soup. It was the most disgusting thing I've evever encountered - it was basically just a bowl of sea water. Bleh! We've never let her live it down.

Bleh. Sugary tea = do not want. Sorry Skoria_Bay but in my eyes putting sugar in tea is a total abomination. The odd occasion I've accidently drank my bro's sugary tea instead of my own, it's actually made me retch. I do put loads of sugar in my coffee though.

My flatmates and I are constantly drinking tea. when we first moved in over the summer, the local supermarket had twinings on special offer, so we bought about 500 bags of it. The cashier thought we were nuts. Twinings is brilliant, it's strong so you can use one tea bag for a couple of cups if you're a poor student like us. Plus Stephen Fry told us to drink it, and you cna't argue with him! I'm a brit, so tea is pretty integral to life. It's my parents answer to everything: stressed? ill? upset? too cold? too hot? The answer is always tea.

As for coffee, I never used to like it before uni. Now I love the stuff, whether it's the cheap rats piss from the SU, the expensive rats piss from Starbucks, or a fresh homemade brew, I'm not particularly discerning. Coffee is my lifesaver when I'm hungover in lectures, or have to stay up all night writing an essay, as was the case last weekend. I don't even want to know how much caffeine I drank that night...

Oh also, don't know if this has been mentioned, but has anyone tried Red Bush tea? It's caffeine free so it's perfect before bedtime and it's yummy to boot!

Yeah, that's right - it was Edith bowman. She had an interesting husky voice IIRC.

Adrian Edmonson and Jennifer Saunders have always been a quirky pairing for me - the best was when he did Celebrity Fame Academy a few years back for Comic Relief (he was cheated out of first place damnit!) and Jennifer was up in the balconey watching with the kids - no matter how awesome it would be having him as my dad, it would have been so embarrassing watching him (his best song was 'Turning Japanese' by The Vapors).

I remember that. Who won in the end though? It's escaped me so can't have been that memorable (unlike Strictly finals!). The most cringe moment on Celebrity Fame Academy was Connie Huq's warbling but I don't think that was the same series.

Oh dear, can't believe I just admited to watching fame Academy. Oh the shame!

My shrunken floor plants have been in the queue for a while (almost two weeks), I believe that I'm either going to upload them to media fire or Box for the time being, and if they don't get out of the queue by tomorrow, I'm going to be sharing them here up for grabs. I understand that D's been fixing up the data servers, and has told me that the queue's servers have been turning off randomly, but it's two weeks next monday since they've been in the queue, and I've been dying to get these out. XD

Please do upload them! I've been checking MTS2 constantly for those plants, I loves them. Also, if you don't mind me asking, how come the sudden name change? It confuddled me for a moment there.

Threads like this one are definately bad for my dl folder. I'm pretty much a dl addict, when I'm home I spend more time downloading sim stuff than actually playing the game. I'm suffering serious withdrawal symptons now I'm back at uni as we haven't got internet at the flat yet so I can't download any new stuff. arggh!

At least hmy downloads are reasonably organised though, I have them categorised under the different categories under build/buy/bodyshop and then in carefully named subfolders so I should in theory be able to identify individual creators. As for how big the folder is, i'm not sure right now as I'm on a different comp but it takes about 15 mins to load, which is about enough time for a round of mariokart or a few bouts of Supersmash bros (like Deelink). I play on a laptop but it's harddisk is rapidly filling up with cc! uh-oh!

heh, Glasscigarette I can relate to your ferret's wanderings. We used to keep ours  in a mechanic's garage part-time and as you can imagine, she used to get into all sorts of mischief. No toilets though. Apparently ferrets and other mustela (sp?) love playing in toilets. Silly ferrets.

As for rats, I love 'em. Whenever friends of mine used to contemplate buying a gerbil or hamster I used to launch into a big pro-rat speech. Sadly, my two are long gone but I'd happily get more in a flash if circumstances were different (aka, if I wasn't a student in rented accomodation).  aww, I loves 'em.

heh heh, CaptainChris when i saw that pic before I didn't realise she was wearing the meatslab dress! Makes it all the more priceless. I particularly like the way that despite the impressive volume of hair present, you can still see through to her scalp. Mmm lovely....

Perhaps she caught site of her reflection in the glass, hence the shocked look. i don't blame her.

That eye has a form of Heterochromia.  Don't be afraid.  It doesn't make you go blind.  lol. They know so little about why eyes color the way they do, but theoretically, more than one color in the eye, not normal.

really? even if it's two simliar colours (for me, green outer, blends to dark brown in center) I didn't know that was unusual, that's cool. But as green and brown aren't so dissimlar you can't really tell the difference as much as in that pic.

also, as a relative noob (in that this is my second ever post here, i've lurked for a while) can i just say that this is deffo my fave thread.  Me likes lots. baa! Morgan Spiced for all!
