You know that posts can be changed.  Usually if someone quotes, it's also a way to show what the original poster said, just in case they decide to go back and change it, which has been done before.

To everyone else?  Yes, I know you moved on, but it pisses me off that she requoted me as using her name correctly, without making any indication that she altered it and I didn't see it until this morning.  And just because she decided it was over and done, doesn't mean I have to agree with her. 

And I won't buy this bait she's throwing down now.  If she really was tired of being a jerk, she'd change her user name to something less offensive.  But she won't, and she'll continue to use the same lame excuses that she's had it in another forum so that makes it A-okay, or that we're all picking on her over her user name, implying that she had no choice in the matter.   

I think she's been sent over to stir shit and make us look even worse than we're already painted by half the community.  We've got people that bitch and whine about how we use bad language when we say shit, imagine the fun they're going to have talking about someone who claims to want to be a respected member of the community, yet her very name is a crude, offensive joke.  She's here to make this site and us look like a joke.

Seems to me that few of us really use the booty much except maybe to add stuff to it. I only go to the booty if there is something I just must have that I can't get from a friend. Thing is, I don't think Pescado has an ignore button installed here and don't know if there is a mod available for SMF for that particular function. People climb all over my butt for going on obscene rants at idiots like this troll in our midst and claim the forum has gone downhill because of people like me. That is one of the reasons I've been behaving myself, in hopes of getting rid of claims like that. This person, whatever it is or where ever it's from, is a pain in the posterior and I really wish they'd wise up or that Pescado would grind them under the ban hammer.

When you join an activist forum like this, it's to talk to like-minded people that share the same ideas and feelings about the subject. You come to know the members through what they've said and how they express themselves. So far, what I know about this person marks them as someone I'd pass by on the street or even cross the street to avoid them. For some reason, I almost would think they were related to Mr. Pew. They did claim some knowledge of who the person is, saying they'd heard of them before.

When you go against the grain of most, if not all, the people of the board and then scream to be left alone, that's a good hint of an attention whore when you keep up the same behaviour that gets you called out on it in the first place. Don't like people getting on you for your name/attitude? Change to fit or get cut to fit, your choice.

Why are any of you still talking about it when we've all moved onto improperly shaded leather pants? Do you REALLY want me to say something to you that bad? To me, this makes you look 12 yourselves. Obviously, I've moved on. Rather than constantly trying to make me angry or whatever you people are doing, how about you please drop it, grow up, move on?
All of this stemmed from Darqstar replying to one sentence with multiple paragraphs. I have never stirred up ANYthing with you people besides offending all of you by not changing a username I don't mind having.

Get over it! Really. Just grow up. You're all most likely well over the age of 18 or at least attempt to have a US legal age mentality, so do me a favor and let it go. Why? Because it's not that serious.
It truly is not. It's a username. It's a handkerchief, safety pin, and breast milk. I haven't gone as far as to truthfully call any of you any names (aside from miserable which is actually what you are from both sides of the field) so act your bust size and not your shoe size for the rest of the thread and get around that hurdle of something as small as a username.

It was really, honestly quite cute having over a dozen people express concern for me for no particular besides disagreement, but now it's like.... Get over it. Either talk about the pleather or ignore/ban/delete my username.

It's not that the word is all that bad.  It's just an abbreviation for clitoris, which is a clinically correct word.   Although I could imagine what you'd get when you googled it.

I just believe there is a time and a place for everything and considering that TSR always touts the horn that they're family friendly, (I don't agree, but they do) I think using the slang/abbreviated form of what is normally considered to be an "off color" word and using it for your user name is about the same as saying, "We're not at all serious about this."   TSR has the excuse that most of the almost naked Sims in those screenshots are barbie sims, and while they may show where the kitty and the rooster would be located, they aren't actually showing a kitty or rooster, because there is none to show.  

With that particular user name, this entire thread becomes a stupid joke.  How can we gripe about TSR showing barbie nudity when we've got someone who can't even respect themselves enough to not give themselves a name that even a porno star wouldn't give.

Yes, I know, we are supposed to be an over 18 site, but just because we try to keep it adult, doesn't mean we should have a free ride to try and be as disgusting as possible.   This site is about trying to get rid of pay sites.  Not porn.  
Maybe the hope is that this site will be blocked off from any browser with any form of protection on it.  It wouldn't surprise me.

Edit: Let me clarify why I changed it as well. It's not because I actually have concern about people baawing over how "offensive" it is and how emotionally unstable it made them (because honestly, your personal life should be more important than a username on a forum on the internet), but if it makes the site less credibly, then it needed to be changed.
