THANKS THIS IS GREAT

And this is why Americans should say they are Canadians while traveling.  @_@

I met three American girls while travelling around Europe. They all had Canadian flags sewn on their packs but the effect was spoilt by the prominent and quite large luggage labels with their full home addresses displayed to all the world.

I am not proud of being an American. Pride is something you have for your accomplishments. On the other hand I am not ashamed either. I feel very lucky to have been born here. I love being an American. Abusive stupid people come from all corners of the planet. The media likes to jump on America's foibles because it sells more newspapers/advertising, etc.

I feel more likely at this point to poke Cala for being a Queenslander. *Melburnian, who doesn't call anyone mate, points and laughs at person with silly accent who is an alcoholic and can't spell beer*

Yay! Those latte drinking Melburnians! Hate them (actually we tend to hate Sydneysiders more).

Where's all the hate for Asians? I feel so partially left out.

Well, we have a lot of Asians here, so the hate is a little hard.  But the German part - definately the "Germans have square heads" thing.

Is that a Canadian stereotype that I'm not aware of?

Hm, my family on my father's side do have square heads.  And I have a fairly square jaw.

Yay, Urbandictionary has "prostitution" and "LBFM" as keywords for the Philippines.  I am so proud.

ETA: I've never had balut and when I visit the Philippines, I doubt I'll sample any.  Tongue  My mom and her friends loved it though--none of my peers like it or have ever tried it, so I'm going to pretend this is an older people thing.

Balut seems like something they would have fed people on the first season of Fear Factor.  I wouldn't be surprised if they did.  Just the thought of eating it makes my stomach do flip flops.

And I particularly liked this on Queensland

The most Australian place in Australia the last true remnant of Australiana. Where snobby nosed euro wannabe, outsiders from the southern states fear to tread. Where XXXX is drunk and people are tough.

Queenslander: Oi where you from cunt!

Outsider: Victoria mate!

Queenslander: fuck off back there you greasy cunt before i knock ya out! and stop trying to speak like a queenslander ya mug

Outsider: Ok im going home now to drink cat piss beer and root a hairy greek woman.

Ran my state through their search and this was one of the results:

lutefisk lesbian

A lutefisk lesbian is a lesbian of Norwegian extraction, typically found in Minnesota or North Dakota. She is referred to as such because of their propensity to eat on holidays lutefisk, a type of jellied cod soaked in lye.

I have no ties to any state since I've moved around a lot, but I like making fun of North Dakota.

fargo, minnesota, bismarck, south dakota, dakota, lesbian, lipstick lesbian, lutefisk, lutefisk lesbian, nebraska, norwegian foods

Lesbian?  Come on.  Most of the people around here hate gays, unless it's just the part of the state I live in.

The definitions made me lol.

"1) Not part of Canada.
2) Where most of the film 'Fargo' wasn't filmed."

"10) a state that has a high percentage of underage drinking"

"Also, number 2 in binge drinking."

I love that it mentions the binge drinking and underaged drinking, since most times when people talk about ND, they skirt around that issue or not mention it at all.  Most of my dad's family drinks (I think it's the only way they can tolerate each other otherwise) and most of the kids I know at school drink and/or smoke.
