Title: schuldig_seiben has gone a bit too far...
Post by: GeneGenie on 2007 May 05, 15:27:38
I know that in another thread (which I can not find) several people discussed the weirdness behind schuldig_seiben's obsession with feminate males. Was reading through the threads at S2C and saw this post:

Aww leave her alone, she's allowed to be unique; she's Schuldig. ^^
And whilst I would never download it, I think it's quite cute...

umm and what's wrong with this???  I mean I wouldn't want my boy simmies to wear it but i don't see any problems with others wanting it.

I agree - she has a unique style and people adore her creations as well as her sims because they represent her own style. I wouldn't want my men to wear dresses either, but so what - it's a funny idea, and it fits her feminine men perfectly.  8)

It's just like in real life I mean hell. I think it's extremely funny but otherwise nothing wrong with it. But I guess to each his own or what the hell ever they say.

You are on the internetz. Weird doesn't really excist anymore :) If you're allready thinking this is too far, boy oh boy :P:P

Unless it's a sims 2 payfile dude dress, it's not weird enough to be evil and up for destruction :)
Plus it's beautful, I don't use boys in dresses, but I would love it done for a lady.

*shrugs* Hey, it's her sim. I'd personally rather have it for my ladies, but Schuldig likes to be different/strange/wack, so I respect that.  :D

I think the mesh is a very nice shape for a transvestite.  +100000 points for not having a fake as all heck chest on it.

I do think it's a shame she didn't remove the obvious boob shading from the source picture.

Too far?
It's just a male sim wearing a dress. There are much bigger problems in the world than people (or sims) who do not dress conventionally.

Frankly, I fail to see any relevance in this thread (or in my reply, for that matter). For each their own.

Yes, I have to agree with the consensus here - men in dresses is not a big deal.  I had a friend who was turned on by straight men in women's clothing - and other than that she was normal.

Not to mention - a very nice looking drag queen - they don't often wear formal dresses with long skirts - they often dress to men's tastes rather than women's - which means short skirts and extremely high heels.

That's what s/h/it means with this post. Already a nice green dress. Next?

The shoes.

My only regret is that there aren't more of those dresses, plus a coordinating female dress for a Warlokk Milla. Then you could have one of those revues where there are almost all men in drag and just one or two females. It would definitely spice up NL.

But it's a start!

When I saw the thread-name I thought she'd done something bad.

I cba to care about men in dresses. It's not a turn-on for me, but then it's probably not me they're looking to turn on.

[Edited to get rid of nonsense. Wrong site mentioned.]

I mean come on, schuldig_seiben is talented. If that's what type of sim she likes to create, and you don't like it, don't pay any mind to it and leave her be!

Come on. I really like schuldig's style, she's an original creator and makes beautiful stuff. I'd personally be more reclutant to use wildly pierced sims than men in drag in my game, still I wouldn't even think that creating a wild variety of piercings is going "too far"

That look's awesome. What's the big deal? How is that threatening or going to far? Men have been dressing up as women and vice versa for centuries.

Yeah, it's not that horrid of a thing.  If at all.

She and KSK have very effeminate men--the only difference being that I've yet to see any woman-hating come from Schuldig.

I don't care what other people do in their game or what they decide to share in terms of custom content--if you don't like it, don't download it.  As long as she's not selling it or forcing people to use it, she's not harming anyone.

I (mistakenly) clicked on this thread thinking she'd stated she was going to start charging people to make them Sims or something like that... but it's about the dress one of her male Sims is wearing? God, what a waste of eyejuice.

Nice dress, would use it if it was for a girl and not a guy. But so what if he/she uses them for male sims, it's what she wants to do. People may not like it (me for example) but doesn't mean that she can't make it and use if for herself.

I think you're pissed because you didn't realise it was a guy until she said so.

It's a prize for a contest that is about being as pretty a boy as possible. I think it fits the theme quite well. It's well made & elegant. I like it :)

The only thing she has in common with KSK is her like of pretty men. But she's also capable of making actual women & obviously male men. she doesn't hate women or pull fits if you mention female conversions.

If this is your reaction to a sim in a dress that she made, I feel sorry for anyone at all 'different' from your narrow-minded idea of what is usual who comes across you in the real world.

...Not to be too harsh, though. I have to admit, seeing the title & then reading what it was about made me laugh for about three minutes.

I thought she'd pulled a stunt involving extraction of money for her sims. Would have been more interesting.

That's more up Sshodan's alley from what I understand.

Title: schuldig_seiben has gone a bit too far...
Post by: Ginseng on 2007 May 06, 18:06:54
 Yeah...someone asked if she would convery some of her edits. For one she said there was already a hair like it so didn't, but she converted the other. Whereas Sshodan demonstrated how to pull the mother of all hissy fits when her hair was refitted. And yet they both get threads discussing their misconduct? Sad, isn't it

Sshodan & KSK seem to have conveniently disappeared. Why is this? Perhaps their women-hating got so bad they...couldn't handle being women any more.

I don't understand the woman-hating since they make such girly man-Sims.  I'm jealous, though--I want to make pretty boys, but making male Sims is so annoying.  Way easier for me to make pretty girls.

Might be a little amusing to hear that they both went and got sex changes.

Simmergirl isn't terrible, but I think I'd rather what Schuldig has than the fake boobs.

My only problem with this is that in all my work with drag queens, the goal was to make them look as much like women as possible, and Sims genetics are just never gonna give me the option to put hip pads, fake breasts, and diva wigs on them. If someone will develop diva wigs, obviously fake padding, and uber-glamour makeup, THEN I might go for this in my game!

And yes...for several years, I judged drag pageants. It was great....the 'girls' would make me up ...and I never looked so glamorous! And then I got to be a total bitch judge...Simon Cowell had nothing on me. Muahahaha! Seriously great fun. I eventually started directing some of the pageants, because I got so annoyed with the crap choreography and bad ly-orchestrated shows.

My favorite queen was also one of my dearest friends...Billy was an amazing actor (played opposite me in many shows including The Music Man), and made a STUNNING Wynona Judd.

he's really not waifish enough to be a true sims2 fangirl femmale love.  Is that a word?  Oh well.  He's feminine, but he's a bit on the barrel chested side.   Most all yaoi boys I've seen in the community have been effeminate, wasp waisted pretty boys, and NONE had facial hair ;)

It'd be a hoot to see Amanda Lepore in the game..  She looked better when she was younger before the surgeries went too far like a lot of people who overuse cosmetic surgery.

There's also another off the top of my head but I can't place her stage name.. I want to say Twiggy or Sunshine..

ETA:  Well, I haven't found the one I was looking for yet but I found another the Perez Hilton likes to mention a lot.  Jackie Beat (http://www.jackiebeatrules.com/).

Found a website (http://www.queenmother.tv/nyc_girls.php) with the more active drag queens in the NYC area.. pretty cool. :)

Point I hope I'm getting across is that not all transvestites are effeminate/waif-y males.  Heck, if I'm putting them in my game I'm going full out.  I want variety.

I'm reminded of the Secret Lives of Women episode I watched about wives whose husbands were transvestites.  There was one couple in their late 50's and early 60's who were deeply in love and devoted to each other.  The wife said it was like having a husband and a platonic girl friend.  She said she'd help him pick out clothes and put on makeup.  It was the sweetest thing I had seen in a long time.  The husband chose to wear what was appropriate for a woman his age and they could walk down the street without attracting attention.  It was wonderful!

And, now I need to icon that tugging down the shirt picture.

But on the topic of pretty waifs, Candy Darling (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Candyandjeremiah.jpg)  was rather pretty. Sometimes I consider simming her.

As for bad wigs, Sshodan, this hair (http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=226787) and some of the Simsconnection hair works really good for that (okay, I have to qualify 'on crack') dragqueen look.

But Simmergirl is good for nice, pretty hair.

Well if we are going to get all Sigmund Freud on the subject of schuldig_seiben I may as well risk saying that she has penis envy and wants to degrade males and make them look like females. I can't believe I just said that, but there you go.

Personally I have nothing against cross dressing guys, I expect they are allot of fun. I live in a remote location, I have never even met a gay guy.

I saw a version of Rocky Horror Picture Show once, and the guy playing Frank-N-Further was SERIOUSLY hot. Not surprisingly, he was hot even in a corset and pumps. Other than those hours of drooling, I can't say I'm too much into dragqueens, but I do like the dress and I think it's so cool that the  Sims community (in general) isn't judgemental when it comes to things like this.

Hm... I do love Eddie Izzard too, and have done so even since I first saw him in Velvet Goldmine. That movie had some really, really delicious guys in it. :O

There's always room for executive transvestites in my world.

Lepore's lips starred in a Tiga & Zyntherius video (a remake of Corey Hart's "Sunglasses @ Night") and really, one had to ask "WRYYYYYYYY!?!?!" a lot over that, for many different reasons. Seriously, it was about four minutes of LIPS OF DOOM and terrible 80s pop crap in a twisted clusterboink.

As for the drag queen you're trying to think of...Lady Bunny? Tinkerbelle died ages ago, took a header out a window. Divine's dead, too.

Then there's The Lady Chablis in Georgia, as well as Charlie Brown and her troupe of glamour bombers.

Twiggy was indeed the name of a semi-famous NYC queenie, if memory serves.

I judged drag pageants.

I've been to a few drag queen pageants now and while they're a blast, it depresses me when the guys are so much prettier than I am.  Last time @ Asia SF, I must've spent 15 minutes ranting about how much I wished *I* could look that hot in leather pants.

Exactly what I thought.

There are several estimates, but about 10 % of population are considered to be gay. So, Modo, the next time you go to a bar, count the people in the room and divide the number by 10 and you get the number of gays in the room. :)

Oh I'll shut up now.
But really, how many members do we have? ;)

((And I like the theory. ^^))

I live in the tiniest of islands. Not the smallest in the Channel Islands, the largest, but that's still bloody small. And even WE have a gay bar!! A transvestite-drag-queen bar to be truly specific, but still!

I don't know of many openly homosexual/bisexual/non-heterosexual people in North Dakota.  There's one girl who keeps complaining there aren't any lesbians in ND, but if I actually had friends and a reputation I cared about, I wouldn't want to be openly non-heterosexual around here either.  =P  As it stands now, I have neither, so arguing with people and having them scoot away from me is pretty much how almost every day goes.

It's a pretty nice dress.  Don't really care for painted on bows and such, though.

Meh, it's a pink dress. The ruffles are detailed but that's about it. One thing that's for certain about the sim: He sure as hell ain't a lesbian. The creator should offer him some strap on anal...like an extra accessory.

Don't know how many members we have and I do think those kind of statistics are tricky, but I'll volunteer my sexuality - Not Gay.

Isn't it funny how Gay Pride is celebrated and Straight Pride would be thought to be oppressive. I guess that's just the way.

Anyhoo, that's the thing that Maz and I have in common - we prefer sex with the opposite gender, so that works out fine for us.

Yah....I wasn't gonna answer, but I have to address the gay pride thing.

First: I'm bisexual. I've had meaningful relationships with both men and women. I thought of myself as simply lesbian for many years, but then met a couple of men who reminded me that attraction and love is about the Person, not the Gender. My next meaningful relationship could be with either...guess we'll find out when it happens.

In the 1990s, I was an activist in the gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgendered community in North Carolina. I was very 'out'...pics on the front page of the paper, tv interviews, and many panel discussions. When someone would ask me why there is gay pride day but not straight pride day (and they invariably did), I would give them this simple, two part answer (and the snottiness would come first if they were being pricks):

- "Anything" pride days are required when a segment of the population is discriminated against by laws and attitudes. See: 1960s American civil rights demonstrations

- You could have a straight pride day...you just have to organize it.

Personally I'm not particularly proud of being straight. It was how I was programmed and to each his or her own. Gay Pride actually isn't a thing around here either, but perhaps that's because afaik Danes are largely unconcerned with other people's sexuality.  :P

HAHA! Just directed a play called "Hysteria" that involved Freud and Penis Envy. It was a great laugh and my female actress seemed to really enjoy the Penis Envy speech XD

I'm a bi curious person myself (I'm female by the way), and have nothing against anyone who has different sexuality. I just get a little annoyed when people shove it in my face, trying to make out they're all special because they're gay/lesbian.

Tramen, I agree...being "in your face" about ANYTHING...sexuality, religion, race, smoking, politics, etc. is just obnoxious.

And yeah..every single group has their evangelists. I neve saw myself that way...I was always the chick who didn't "look" gay, so I guess my appearance disarmed them enough to listen to me (although speaking intelligently probably helped too).

To be honest, by the time I was involved in gay pride days in North Carolina, most of the heat was off. We had very few protesters (our most famous was a guy in the mountains who held up a sign saying 'fagits go hom" (sic). Yeah...that picture was plastered on every newspaper in the region. At that point, gay pride days were largely big ol' street parties. Now, of course, there is a new focus...Americans are fighting the gay marriage issue, so there's something at stake again.

Oh, and we don't think you're stupid because you don't know what's happening here (at least I don't). I hope that I'm one of the Americans that helps rehabilitate our awful reputation. If I make statements that make assumptions about knowledge of things Americans, correct me. Ask for explanation. It's the only way we learn.

And I want an Eddie Izzard sim too!!

Yeck. Sticklegs. I swear, if I had legs like that, instead of my tree-trunk-like legs, I'd collapse from the weight of my armour. Of course, wearing 80 pounds of hardware all the time is a great way to build up your leg muscles right there.

Well, her making a male mesh with thin waist over round hips is yet another thing that complements nicely her woman-hating tendencies. 8)

As for sticky legs, geeky figures suits me fine and definitely better than that Insim's nefarious trademark, but thin waist over suddenly round arse'n'hips - nuh-uh. That's ugly.

That said, them clothes looks decently done and if they were for standart Maxian figure (or had only 1 of them 2 disfigurements), I'd try some of them.

I have an strangely wide upper torso...which means that if the underwires fit properly, the rest of it doesn't. And if I get the rest of the fit okay, the underwires are too close together and jab into me.  I probably need custom-made bras, but I am not rich enough for them. So i struggle to find a decent fit. Hence...mostly softcup. And some sag.

Regarding topic shifts: I think of our threads much like those great tables you get going at a bar, when people drift in and out, and the conversation naturally grows, ebbs, and moves on (with occasional breaks for drink orders or collective jams to a favorite song). I'd love to have a drink (or ten) with any of ya! (Talk about a monster table...heh...)

*nods*  Agreed, Hecubus.  Plus, I've noticed the topics that do stay on topic tend to just repeat the same stuff over and over.. and over..

Yea, did we have a topic in the beginning anyway? Ah, it is Pescados fault, he gives us no Off topic forum, so we have to missuse other threads   I hope I won't get banned for going OT

Aw, the old man wouldn't do that, now would he? Besides, since we seem to do random collectively then it's not even OT anymore

There's no 25. This is still 24.

You have no idea how happy that statement actually makes me.

Aw, I'm with you on that :D It was so cute of him I almost want to hug him.

Wait. Wha'?!?

*looks around frantically for rum*

Arrgh, matey!! (translation: "Oh, NOES!")

26 doesn't exist either. You stay 24 until you're 30. Once you've processed it, it does become the greatest intuition ever

Carlos Mencia dressed up as "Carlita" again on Sunday's new episode of his show.  He looked super cute!  These screens I took don't do him justice I think.

[pixx]

..wait. Carlos. Carlita. Carla. Pandrito. Could this... be... :O

Roffles! Perhaps!
My friend and I are both...12...18 in a couple of months. I refuse to wear underwired (they scraaaatch!). I'm alright though; they'd be smaller if I was smaller. ^^ But she, she has biiiiig boobs. Has to get specially-made underwired bras, and bikini tops!
