Yeah, i remember reading the post where he offered making a gift. What i've noticed was that he offered to make ONE mesh. Considering the fact that he usually upload big sets at TSR, i think that if he really cared about the RSF, he would have offered an entire set, not only a single item. To tell the truth, i think that what he really wanted was to see how much people would post requests in the thread and prove that he is loved by everyone and that he's such a great and generous artist blablabla...

Plus, that candle gift looks familiar. He uploaded something similar at TSR, than cloned it and added the pearls to match the new forum's name. Yeah, he's such an original artist!

I think they control each lot submitted before uploading it.

Some lots are pay because they use FA stuff in it (like furniture,build objects...). The fact is that a few months earlier, and after some complaints, TSR decided to set free all the lots that were made by SA/submitters, even if there was FA content in it. They only pay lots available were supposed to be the ones made by featured artists.

BUT they didn't do it for every lots, like they promised to do. They "forgot" to set free some lots.
Which means that you can find pay lots that aren't made by FAs, and still, you have to be a subscriber to download them.

Once again that's pure greed. They don't even respect their own rules.

I do wonder if AngelamvEliza will stay designer at RSF. I don't think they are pro-pay, but i'm not sure. As far as I know, Thomass usually announces the FA nomination by sending a PM to the artist at least 2 weeks before making it official. So i guess she's been spying for him long before the RSF drama.

Dot's lamps are ugly. Don't download them. Period.

And sometimes, sending a letter to the original copyright owner works. B43&Co were forced to change the name of some donation sets because of this. Same for Shino&KCR. Their last bathroom was free because someone send a mail to the owner complaining that they were selling a copyrighted name.
I know that a lot of people don't give a damn about simmers using their name/products in game, because they consider it free advertisement, but other do care about their monies.

Wow that was fast. I didn't see it announced in the frontpage and the sets were unlocked.

I think that AngelaMVEliza is the next FA. Her creations are the only one that appear in the frontpage under "Upcoming items from FAs". Be prepared to add  a special place for her in the booty!

Seriously, even when her creations were free i wouldn't download them. Now, we will have the same crap, but for money.

All the good creators have left TSR, anyway. I think the debate thread at RSF will be backed up, just like the rest of the forum. I wonder if Tomass talks about this in his private forums. I'd love to read moar Coconut juicy news.

Marcela/Reflexsims.de was at TSR a long time before. She left to open her current paysite. Which proves that she's just a bitch who was afraid to lose "donators". Well, now, i'm sure she's lost a lot, not because of the debate thread, but because of what she did to the forum.
A lot of people are standing up at the Simscave to talk. I was afraid that some will leave after this but they showed up and expressed their support.

Suck this, Thomass!! Seriously, he forgot that a lot of TSR members are also from RSF,and won't be too pleased with what happened.

The debate thread was open in September. Plenty of time for tomass to react. What i don't understand is:why now?
It's not like Marcela wasn't aware of the debate forum,since she logged in several times to post previews of her sets there.

Well,his little brain-washing will not work. I'm glad Jonesi has refused to delete the thread. And since the forum was separated from the site,i don't understand why they would have to chnge their name.
It's not like Marcela's was paying the bandwith costs,it was from donations.
