I find it hard to believe when people say their game takes over an hour sometimes to load.
How the hell?
Either they have a hard drive full of CC, a very shite PC or they over exagerate (no offense, but my PC isn;t the best spec wise and my game takes about 5 minutes, even with heaps of CC)
And we need MOAR comparing! *looks around*

I know people who have external harddrives specifically for their sims 2 CC. So it's very possible to have an hour of load time. Mine used to be 30 minutes until I got the compressorizer.

WAIT A MINUTE!

The compressorizor helps the game load faster? I thought it just made more room for files.
Seriously?!

Whoa.

I didnt think it was possible to fail at grunge. I figured anything ratty looking could be grunge, but the did infact fail at it.

I believe that there should be a whole new level of fail for that. Like, nega-fail, or alpha-fail.

Thanks Cala, I was a bit confuzzled too.  Cheesy

Anyways, drama is always interesting, but I'm sorry that the Sapphire Sims people got mixed up in it. It seems to be that they were played and that Simcoasters are trying to make them to be the bad guys.  Roll Eyes

Although drama is interesting, we haven't had a good fight in ages. Is there any chance that the Simcoasters would come here to defend their stance/accuse Sapphire members/argue in general and provide lulz?

If there is, how can we lure them here?
We need some MOAR FIGHT!  Grin

We need trolls for hire. They go over there and start picking fights, luring them to PMBD.
Actually, that sounds like a bad idea now that I actually type it out.

In the top right of that TSR victorian room, are those pillows plastered to the backing of the sofa? Thats what it looks like. That or theyre floating.

Adele's stuff owns, I had to get everything after I saw that gothic-victorian livingroom on the WNF aspiration set.
>.<

I love 'California cold'.

The weather in autumn is marvelous. Its still summer enough for the sun to be bright and making everything pretty, but its cool and crisp.
Soon all the bugs will dies and the trees will either get naked or turn red/orange, and my cats will get extra fluffy with winter coats.

Plus Haloween rocks.

(btw - since we're all throwing off our pirate masks on this one - I'm dollface)

Hehe, theyve blocked off the message. Obviously someone scored a point against them. Anyone have a picture-proof?

Most people just get here by word of type.

Ive seen dozens of people discover this place in various forumns just because someone in a WCIF thred says "Oh, thats by Peggy. Its in the booty."

If someone wants free stuff badly enough, they'll find us.

You know what would be completely AWESOME? If the judge or members of the jury were active in the sims community. Like, they know all the dirt going on with Eaxis, TSR, paysites, etc.

42  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: ! on: 2008 September 29, 08:18:00
This fandom just seems to attract so much loonies. Does the Sims 2 community have a sign up on its forehead: "Loonies gather here and go apeshit!" ?
You have to remeber that this fandom is based off a game that lets you, if you choose so, control every aspect of some powerless little people's lives. Obviously a few crazy control freaks will be in the bunch.

(Why do you think that so many free CC makers describe themselves as 'Perfectionists'? Its a very mild -and usually helpful- form of control freakish-ism.)

Bahaha. At work today, we were just a bunch of wrecks. I was working with my coworker who just shattered his knee cap, so he was hobbling around on crutches, then my perfectly healthy coworker tripped and sprained her ankle, while I stood there with my entire hand bandaged.

The three stooges, ehy?

Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk. . .

 Cheesy

The only reason I know what Turkish Delight is was because of that Narnia book.

That was the same for me. As a kid, I always wondered what it was, since they made it sound so good - When I came across it at a specialty store back in high school, I immediately grabbed a small package of it. It was a Rose flavored turkish delight candy bar... I took one bite and almost retched. SO SWEET. It was like eating potpourri gel. I was so disillusioned! Why would Edmund do what he did* for THAT stuff... (It does explain why he gets awfully sick afterward though!  Cheesy)

* It know it's been like 50 years since the books were written, but someone always bitches when you give stuff away, even though I think the statute of limitations on spoilers for this is WAY past...

You made me laugh so hard I fell off my swivel chair and my sister came it to see what was wrong.

Thank you.

Its amazing, half the candies youre mentioning Ive never heard of.
The only reason I know what Turkish Delight is was because of that Narnia book.

Around here the best easily attainable chocolates are either Dove or a brand with a name I cant spell. (Gihaldi, grihaldi? Something with a G.)
The best chocolater ever, however, comes from a store in San Francisco. I cant remember what the place is called, but they sell all these cool molded chocolates.
My aunt got me a package of the ones shaped like dolphins and sea horses.
